Once everyone had settled down, Lin Fang and the others pondered over the story told by Mrs Zhang. She did give them a good plot. Now they need to refine it a little before presenting it in a vlog format for their viewers.

"I guess, we do it like this, first we will show the footage of us entering the village. After that, we will do a small tour of the village, and we can add the story told by Mrs Zhang at the end. For the next episode, we will proceed with Mo Yao’s story, and then plan on doing our own research on this folk tale. Like visiting that oak tree on the night of a full moon." Lin Fang looked at everyone at the table and stated his plan after listening to Xiao and Wang Ping.

"This will do, I guess. But, still, if that tree turns out to be normal, won’t it ruin the fun?" Xiao questioned, placing her head on the table lazily.

"We didn’t need to show them everything; we would just make up some lies about footage vanishing, or something like that, for the audience, and we would film a few horror scenes to make it believable." Lin Fang added that this time, he didn’t really want to put too much effort into vlogging, as he had gotten extra work to do.

He glanced at Lulu, and they formed eye contact for a short time before shifting their focus back to work.

After the discussion and planning, they had a very delicious lunch made by Luo Yue. Coming back from lunch, Xiao was sleepy again, as she had already done her work. So, she went to take an afternoon nap.

Lin Fang, Wang Ping and Lulu sat together at the window staring outside at the bright sun illuminating the entire village under its burning light. The weather was quite humid today. All of them were covered in sweat; the fresh air was coming from outside, but it wasn’t enough to relieve the heat from the sun in the sky.

"It’s so warm here," Wang Ping complained, looking at Lin Fang. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

"Hm, nothing can be done about it." Lin Fang said lazily, he too was covered in sweat.

At this moment, they suddenly heard a knock on their door.

"Young Friends, the weather is quite warm today. Would you like to take a cold bath?" Luo Zhong’s friendly voice came from the outside.

They were already covered in sweat, and a cold bath was actually a good option.

"We will," Lin Fang glanced at others, and replied, standing up to open the door.

As he opened the door outside, Alice, Luo Yue and Luo Zhong were standing together. Seeing them together, Lin Fang was a little freaked out, afraid they might be planning a lewd act.

"We are going to Cold Lake for a bath, are you guys coming?" Alice asked bluntly, glancing at Lulu and Wang Ping. She even winked at Wang Ping, especially, turning his face bright red.

"We are," Wang Ping quickly replied with a flustered look.

"Pack up your clothes then," Alice said without hesitation, giving Lin Fang a seductive smile.

Lin Fang could guess that Wang Ping would most likely join in this debauchery. He didn’t care about his fat brother joining in, as long as Xiao didn’t know about any of that. He looked at Xiao; she was still asleep. It was the perfect time for them to go out and have some fun.

Thinking about having sex in the lake felt really wild.

"Let’s go then," Lin Fang didn’t make up any bullshit and quickly began packing all their clothes in a bag.

Lulu and Wang Ping, too, began selecting their clothes, handing them to Lin Fang to pack them all in one bag.

"Here, take it," Lulu handed him a short skirt and a light pink coloured top. But above them were her cute baby panda sticker panties, which instantly became the focus point of everyone’s attention.

She wasn’t shy about it. She looked at half smiling Wang Ping and gave him a look, shutting him up in an instant.

"We are ready, let’s go," Lin Fang quickly packed everything, as he already knew what might be coming next. He knew his friend Wang Ping would also be getting a few slices from that delicious meal.

They quickly followed Luo Zhong walking out of the inn. They headed straight towards the north, walking through a muddy path, covered in a thick coat of grass.

"Will there be other villagers?" Lulu asked as they walked towards that Cold Lake.

"There might be a few people, but none of them will be coming closer to the Lake," Luo Yue said with a smile. Lin Fang glanced at her face, and he could feel the happiness hidden between her lips.

"Um?" Wang Ping didn’t understand her answer as he asked, "Why won’t they come near the lake? In this hot weather."

"Because there are legends of a demoness residing in that Cold Lake. Most of the villagers here still believe in it, so even those young ones who come to wander around the lake, they only do sightseeing." Luo Zhong explained, walking towards the Cold Lake.

"Oh," Wang Ping didn’t ask about the bullshit story, as he was eager to take a bath together with Alice and Luo Yue.

They moved forward, heading towards the lake, and soon the surrounding wind began to turn colder. The heat they have been feeling for so long has finally begun to subside, as the surrounding temperature has begun to drop.

Walking for a little while, they spotted a few young men sitting on the giant rock. They stared ahead, sitting on the cold rock, enjoying the wind. The temperature here was around 25 to 26 degrees Celsius.

When they walked out of the bush, their faces were hit with even colder air, as if someone had turned the AC on in the vast forest.

In front of them was a massive lake, whose surface was extremely calm, reflecting everyone’s image in perfection.

"Didn’t you say no one comes here? Who is she?" Suddenly, Lulu pointed at the lady sitting at the bank of the lake.
