It had already been quite some time since my other four wives had gotten pregnant and it was close to their due date.

So I had been expecting to be called about this.

Only it didn’t seem like they were all going into labour at once.

The only one that was going into labour this time was Moon.

As soon as her water broke, everyone had already started moving.

In fact, it was like a well oiled machine at this point with how efficient they were.

However, this was expected since it wasn’t as if this was the first time that this was happening. We had experience, so we knew exactly what we were doing.

Which meant that I sat there outside the delivery room waiting for the news.

After all, I didn’t have a part to play in this process.

If I were to do something, the only thing that would have happened was that I would have gotten in the way.

Even with all the power that I possessed now, it wasn’t as if there was anything that I could do to help with this process. It was something that I just had to let nature take its course.

Not to mention that the ones that had been gathered were the best of the best.

They wouldn’t let anything happen to Moon.

After a few hours, I was told that it was over.

Though the way that I was told made me very confused and a bit afraid.

"Please come in, there’s something that you have to see."

"Did something go wrong?" That was my first reaction when I heard them calling for me like this.

However, they quickly alleviated my fears and told me that nothing had gone wrong. They promised that everything had gone smoothly and that both the mother and child were safe.

But since they confirmed this, I was even more confused.

What was it that they couldn’t tell me and I had to see for myself?

I saw Moon on the bed with a wrapped bundle in her arms when I came in, which just made me even more confused.

"Why did they wrap up the child like this?"

With everything that had happened with the last four births, it didn’t seem like there was anything that could be that shocking at this point.

But it turned out that it was something that was quite surprising.

"Oh, so it’s just this."

Though when I thought about it, I realized that I had been a bit insensitive.

I was only thinking about this from the perspective of a human, but it was a big deal if one thought about it from the perspective of an elf.

After all, the child that had been born wasn’t just any normal elf.

With the green hair, the green eyes, and the powerful aura, it was clear that this was a high elf. But not only that, it seemed like this child of mine was a high elf that even surpassed the purity that her grandmother possessed.

It seemed like another regression had happened where this child had returned to their roots, becoming a high elf that was unparalleled among the elves.

Once the other elves learned of this, there would no doubt be quite the commotion about this. 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂

The society of the elves was based around bloodline purity and one’s identity as a high elf.

If they learned of how pure this child’s bloodline was, they might even think about replacing Aisha with this child as the ruler of the elves.

While Aisha would most likely hand this title over to her grandchild if that meant that she would be free, it wouldn’t end that simply.

With the purity of this child’s bloodline, there was no doubt that the elves would plot in secret. Not that they would harm the child, but they would think of ways to secure that bloodline for themselves.

"It’s not as if we can hide this."

Moon still had a complicated look on her face as I said this, but she eventually gave a nod of agreement. However, she still had to say, "What should we do about it then? I don’t want them to harm this child."

I gave a nod to agree with her, but it felt a bit underwhelming compared to the other children.

Especially the display that Arthur had made.

"For now, we’ll observe and see what kind of powers this child demonstrates. Once we learn more, we’ll be able to figure out what to do with this child."

Moon didn’t look like she was happy with this plan, but she knew that there was nothing that we could do right now.

After all, the child was still too young for us to do anything else.

Only I could tell that Moon was very worried about all of this.

It wasn’t that she was worried about what would happen to herself, it was that there would be many eyes that would fall on our child because of this. She just wanted this child to grow up healthy, she didn’t want any of this fame for our child.

After all, she knew what kind of things this kind of fame could do to someone.

She had received the same kind of fame since there were many things that had been expected of her as Aisha’s child.

Even if I wanted to say something, there really wasn’t anything that I could say at this time.

But even before that, I didn’t get the chance to say anything as something else happened first.

"Your majesty, it’s an urgent message."

I thought that they had been holding back since Moon had just given birth, but it seemed like this wasn’t the case. With how they kept looking at Moon, it seemed like this news had something to do with her and they didn’t know what to say.

So I said, "Just tell me what it is."

"There’s news from the Elven Kingdom, the Elven Queen has given birth."
