"You’re actually giving me the location of the fourth inheritance?"

I just couldn’t stop myself from saying this when I heard what Solista said.

The wry look that was on her face didn’t stop me from saying this.

After all, this was something that I had been asking about for a long time and they had been ignoring me for a long time. With them acting like this, it really wasn’t as if they could blame me for being surprised if they suddenly offered something like this.

I even had to make sure that Solista was being serious about this.

With a sigh, Solista said, "How bad was your last impression of us that you would think this? We’ve already promised that we would tell you once the matter with War was dealt with."

"And yet it took you this long to call for me." I added in a ’soft’ voice.

Solista chose to ignore this comment that I made and moved onto the main issue.

"Before I can actually tell you, there’s something that I need you to know."

This time, a wry smile appeared on my face.

I had already guessed that it wouldn’t be that simple, there was no doubt that they would have come up with some kind of request.

Now it was all about what this request was.

"Since you want to know the location of the fourth inheritance, you have to pass a trial."

Solista didn’t beat around the bush as she told me this directly.

I was surprised, but I wasn’t as surprised as I thought I would be.

After all, it wasn’t as if this was that complicated of an issue. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

It was almost to be expected that something would need to be given for the location of this fourth inheritance.

One might argue the fact that I had defeated War and repelled the forces of Destruction would qualify for this, but it didn’t seem to be the case. As such, there was no need to cry over spilt milk.

Since they were proposing a trial, the only thing that I could do was take this trial and pass it.

"Alright, what is this trial?"

It seemed like Solista was hesitating over something with the way that she didn’t answer this question.

Seeing this, I couldn’t help feeling a bit worried.

But it wasn’t what I thought it was, rather it was something else.

"This trial is something that will take a while and during that time, you won’t be able to contact the outside world. So before you enter the trial, it’s best if you settle your affairs first."

The more that I heard this, the more curious I was about what this trial was.

Only I could see that she wasn’t willing to say anything before I accepted this.

It seemed like there was something that was restricting information about this trial before I accepted.

"You can’t tell me anything at all?"

It wasn’t as if I would lose anything from asking this, but it also wasn’t as if I was expecting anything.

It was as I thought in the end as she just shook her head without saying anything.

Since that was the case, there wasn’t anything that I could say.

Well, other than confirming one last thing.

"It will be safe, right?"

Once again, I hadn’t been expecting anything from this. I had only asked this question because I wanted to gauge their reaction.

But it seemed like it had struck a nerve for them as Solista quickly shook her head and said in a firm voice, "You definitely won’t be in any danger at all."

I would have felt more assured if she didn’t answer like before, but now that she had answered...

The way that she answered really made me start to question this decision of whether to trust them or not. After all, the way that she said this really was a bit too strange for me to trust her...

But in the end, I just gave a simple nod in response.

After all, the fourth inheritance was more important than anything else.

Without it, I really didn’t have the ability to face the forces of Destruction or the last of the Four Omens. It was necessary to get this last inheritance so I could protect my family and the ones that I cared about.

Once I was sent back to the mortal plane, I said to the popes waiting for me, "What needs to be done for me to go away for a while?"

All of them were shocked to hear this and there were many worried questions that followed, but they stopped on their own. From the way that their expressions changed, it seemed like they had received oracles from the ones above.

I was certainly surprised that the gods would send oracles just for this matter, but it also made me suspicious.

After all, the fact that they were going this far...

For now, I just said with a sigh, "So, what will it take for me to disappear for a while?"

The popes didn’t question me this time as they fell into deep thought.

It was one thing if I were to disappear because of an enemy, but for me to willingly go away meant that it would cause quite a bit of a commotion. After all, there was still the matter of Dorothy to consider.

Not to mention that I was the most famous person on the continent right now because of the war with the forces of Destruction.

"This will be a big problem..."

That was the consensus that they came to, but they knew that there was a good reason for this. So even if it was troublesome, they had to think of a way to make this happen.

After a long silence, the pope of the Solista Religion said, "We can’t decide this on our own. We’ll have to discuss this with the others before coming up with a solution."

I didn’t mind this, this was what I had already been expecting.
