Chapter 77 - 71: The Trio of Chaos: Serath, Kael, and Foxy
In the other tower next to the one Song had destroyed, three people stood a few meters away. They were preparing to destroy the Tower of White Sin. Although this tower was lower than the other, that did not mean its inhabitants were weak. It was called White Sin because it housed magicians and knights who had committed sins. The main organizer did not want to lose them, as they were still useful. So this tower was created to contain those mad magicians and knights who were completely insane.
Among these dangerous individuals, three talented monsters stood out, each with unique skills and distinct appearances.
One had a closed foxy eye and a black katana and wore a simple outfit, making his black hair unique. His name was Julian, also known as Foxy, and he had a leader vibe with a strange smile that never left his face.
The second had brown hair, a sun tattoo on his left hand, and a crescent moon on the other. As his eyes and tattoos glowed, his hair became half black and half white. He wore two earrings, one shaped like the sun and the other like a crescent moon, representing his roots. His name was Sirath, the Son of the Crescent Moon and Sun, and he seemed to be the quietest one.
The third had dark circles, black eyes, and a short haircut with a front wolf cut. His name was Kael Bloodhart. He gave assassin vibes and had a silver bat ring, with a crimson stone at its center that served two purposes: to collect blood and to hide his real weapon, the cursed chains. He was half vampire and half Vyrakth.
This trio was running through the forest, heading toward the tower. The three were originally from the magic world. They were subordinates of Song, all top talents, and worked under him under a life and death contract.
They were not working for him because they were weak, but for various reasons, since Song had resources and was smarter. It was a mutually beneficial relationship, as each of them had their own goals.
Usually, taming these monsters was impossible unless they were tamed by a stronger one, which showed how strong Song really was because anyone who worked under Song had already been defeated once by him.
“ooooooofff!”
“Once we finish this tower, the leader’s plan will start, and the battle between the heirs of the empires will begin. We will sell information once the two towers fall, from our information section to the other nobles. This kingdom will fall into a war abyss.”
“In addition, the prestige of the magic towers will disappear, and we will ignite chaos while they are still deciding which magician will become the head of the towers. Chaos will begin soon.”
“But what I do not understand is what Song’s goal is behind all of this,” Foxy muttered as he gave foresight to everyone.
“It does not matter. Let us focus on what we need to do now,” Kael spoke as he rested his head on one of the trees at their stopping point.
“Alright Kael, let’s get serious.”
Foxy started speaking. “I think we should separate. One of us should deal with the ten magicians in the tower, while another should infiltrate it, disable the magical circle, and take everything. That way, we can sell it all for a good price.”
“So this is how it goes. I will take the head magician here and some of the follower magicians. Sirath, you will take the main ten magicians and the rest of the follower magicians. And since Kael is an assassin, he should be able to negate it in less than a second. I will get you two magicians from inside. You make clones of them, and you know the rest.”
“Let us start.”
Foxy drew his katana. In a second, Sirath and Kael closed their eyes as Foxy’s white mark on his left hand glowed. That was a signal that Foxy was about to use his high level illusion.
He made two knight guards see a beautiful lady shouting for help.
“Stay here, I am going to check what is happening,” one of the knights muttered to his friend.
As the first one entered the designated spot, a shadow appeared from the tree, penetrating his heart, and the knight fell. Kael gave a sign to Foxy, who began controlling the illusion that made the knight kiss the girl, making her shy.
The other knight’s curiosity overtook him as he was driven by his lustful voice, and so he decided to check on his friend.
“Heeeeee,” the knight who went to check on his friend laughed creepily as he started approaching his friend and teasing him.
“You fool, you should have shared it with me!”
As he entered the designated spot, Kael killed him too and made two clones of the fallen knights. They became perfect duplicates and entered as guards.
Kael then acted as if one of the guards wanted to go to the bathroom. As the other knights came to check, Kael entered the bathroom and extended his nails, sharpening them as his veins tightened. Seeing only one magician inside, in one swift motion, the magician’s head fell. He made another clone of him, sent one back down, and began wandering inside the tower as the magician.
He began infiltrating the tower, and in less than a minute of searching, he detected the core of the large magical defense system. Then he began eliminating the guards one by one before continuing his mission.
In fifteen minutes, Kael managed to decode ten interconnected magical circles and destroyed the tower’s barrier system. There were ten floating energy stones that had to be destroyed in a specific order, otherwise a barrier would activate and trap Kael.
But Kael did not fall into the trap. He clapped both his hands in front of him and held that position as a blood sphere formed and began to explode into several bloody cords, penetrating everything. A blood beam shot out, piercing the stones in the proper sequence and destroying them.
Then he started running in his cloned form, shouting that there had been a breach and a spy was in the eastern part of the tower. His plan was simple. He planted dark clones there and trapped it beforehand to draw the enemies out and scatter them, while the others infiltrated the other side and attacked the main targets.
Once this happened, the traps were activated, and half of the tower’s magicians died due to illusions and preset traps.
But Kael’s procedure did not last long, as he was interrupted by two unknown guests. They radiated a powerful aura and were Knights War, a tier 15-level threat.
They sent two massive slashes at Kael, but he had already grasped the situation and formed a blood-red sword through his blessing, as he used a strange sword technique that deflected their attacks into the wall.
"Hmmm, that’s annoying," Kael muttered as he placed his hand behind his head, waving his sword while a bloody aura erupted from him, sending shards at the two knights.
“It seems two dogs managed to smell my movement.”
