Middle Ring of the Lightning Ancient God’s Abode

Yue Xuexia had helped Shan Du and the rest to create a protected area within the ruins. At the very least in the camp area that had made the children would be safe. Yue Xuexia asked, "Is there no other way to let them inside?"

After receiving the answer from the two Qilin statues, she waves her hand to call Shan Du, Yue Hualei and Huan Li. The three, knowing the real identity of the Moon Goddess, went to her. It was only now that they noticed that the lightning coming from the inner ring was actually completely different from the middle ring they had witnessed. The lightning falling from the inner region takes on shapes and as if they are alive, it would descend on the ground and move more aggressively than in the other regions. The three were startled when they saw what was inside the inner region.

Yue Xuexia said, "Don’t be afraid. Those things wouldn’t harm you with the blessing I gave you." She retracted her form in which the lightning element is the most dominant and returned to her mortal form where her hair and eyes were simply black in color.

After calming down the three people with the support of the two young princes, Shan Du, Huan Li and Yue Hualei, finally calmed down. Yue Xuexia turned her head back to where the two Qilin statues were.

She said, "Would they be allowed in now?"

{Yes. They are now capable of surviving in the inner ring. The gate will now be opened.}

The two Qilin statues suddenly moved and stood away from the pillar they were standing on. Once walk to the right and the other walk to the left. The closed heavy gates made of unknown materials which seems to be a glass yet thicker and even more stronger than it. This transparent material allows someone to see what is beyond the door and shows the other like world beyond this glass door is now slowly opening allowing their entrance. Except for the Moon Goddess, the others were all terrified as they didn’t know what kind of monster would come out to welcome their arrival.

However, the figure of the Moon Goddess stood in front of them fearlessly and said, "Follow me closely."

Seeing someone lead them inside, made their anxious heart slowly calm down. Now Yue Xuexia’s presence before the group was like a tall mountain capable of blocking everything their way and everyone’s fear slowly faded.

The Moon Goddess stepped through the gates without hesitation. However, just as she just took her first step within the inner region the sky filled with dark clouds and echoing thunder covers the whole region. The sound of lightning striking was heard and a lightning bolt that took the form of a dragon suddenly attacked Yue Xuexia. To be precise, this thing was attacking anyone who would cross the gates. Its existence was all for that reason alone.

Everyone panicked the moment this tribulation lightning in the form of the dragon appeared before them after falling from the sky above them. However, the Moon Goddess just stood in the forefront and with a wave of her hands, a black fan with snow lotus design appeared in her right hand. She had only shaken the fan once yet countless silver lotus appeared around the lightning dragon, the lotus flower slowly bloomed and once it fully bloomed it petals floated around and turned into sharp blades that cut the lightning tribulation into pieces as it was completely destroyed.

Yue Zhiya looked a bit confused when he saw the black fan in his Aunt Xue’s hand. Though it only lasted for a glimpse as it instantly disappeared with another nonchalant wave for the second time, the little prince of the Everlasting Moon Empire still had seen it. Prince Zhiya’s expression is that of one who felt someone or something felt familiar to him yet couldn’t remember where he had seen it before.
