Sold To The Alphas I Hate
Chapter 394: Finally Happy
Eira’s POV
It was our last day at the HollowCrest pack.
The event was over, and the purpose of my visit had been fulfilled. I had found my family. My roots.
While Kael and Alpha Gerald spoke, I caught fragments of their conversation. RavenClaw pack. That bastard Asher. A witch. A vampire.
They were discussing threats. Planning how to deal with them. How to end what was coming.
I trusted Kael. And now, I found myself trusting Alpha Gerald as well. Together, they would come up with something effective.
Meanwhile, I stayed with Luna Iris.
As my elder, she guided me through everything related to my pregnancy. Her advice was practical, experienced, and comforting.
She had been through it twice herself.
She had even arranged meals for me, carefully chosen and prepared. Just in short time we spent together, she had already understood my pallets. The food here was different from what I had grown up eating, yet it never felt unfamiliar.
Now I understood why. I was born here. I belonged here. This place had always been a part of me.
Raven sat beside me as I ate, with Luna Iris accompanying us.
"I used to eat this a lot when I was pregnant with you," she said, watching me with a soft smile.
"No wonder I like it so much," I replied, taking another bite. The dessert was made from a sweet and slightly sour fruit that grew only in this pack. It was unlike anything I had tasted before, yet it felt... right.
"Have you checked whether the baby is a boy or a girl?" she asked.
I shook my head. "We want it to be a surprise."
"That is good," she said. "Boy or girl, it does not matter. But with two pureblood children, you need to be extra careful."
I nodded lightly. "I trust my mates."
"I did not mean to scare you. It is just that..."
"I understand," I said, my voice steady. "I lost Raven once. I will not let that happen again. And this time, anyone who tries to harm my children will not live to take another breath."
Her gaze softened. "Having strong mates is important for you. I am glad you are in safe hands. Also, your father and I are with you this time to protect your kids."
I gave her a small nod.
Now I truly understood it.
There was a reason the Moon Goddess had given me multiple mates. I might not care about my own life, but my children needed them.
As I continued eating, Luna Iris spoke again. "Giving birth to a daughter is more difficult than a son."
I looked up at her.
"In case this child is a girl, I wanted you to be prepared."
"Difficult... how?" I asked.
"The labor is longer," she said gently. "More painful. It feels as if you are standing at the edge of death itself."
Well, that wasn’t an issue. I had been to hells door more times than I could count. If there’s no pain in my life, I might feel I am dead
"But when you finally see your child," she added, a faint smile touching her lips, "every bit of that pain feels worth it."
I hummed softly as she continued, "When I gave birth to you, your father was more frightened than I was. He said we would never have another child. He thought he was going to lose me. Even I felt the same. All I wanted was to see my child’s face before I die," she added with calm, "Giving birth to someone rare... it is no less than bringing a divine power into the world."
I understood.
"If it is a daughter and I go through the same," I said, "I am sure my mates will react just like your. mate die."
She let out a soft chuckle. "And yet, we still want more children the moment we see the one we just have given birth."
I smiled faintly. "I plan to have quite a few babies. I want a big family. And if they refuse..." I lifted a brow slightly, "I will just have to force them into it to agree, and then Kael have to give in."
That earned a light laugh from her. "You can certainly try. Mates are meant to give in eventually."
That reminded me of something and I asked, "As I am rare one, I am meant to give birth with only my faced mate. Is there any chance with others?"
I felt bad that I couldn’t have child with Roman and Lucian despite they are bonded to me now.
"That’s how it worked until now," she said.
I sighed and said, "At least five children I have to force Kael into. One for each mate. Though I would not mind more."
"All five of them are perfect and loves you so much. So, that’s indeed a good idea," she cheered me on.
Well, at least someone was on my side.
"Just be prepared to see them panicked and scared to their deaths, and then warning you strictly for no more child," she laughed.
"I can imagine that already," I laughed as well.
By noon, we were ready to leave.
Luna Iris had packed enough food for the journey, making sure everything included was something Raven and I liked.
The vehicles stood prepared.
My parents and Evan came to see us off.
"We will come to you when it is time for the baby," Luna Iris said, holding my hand after embracing me. "It will not be long now."
I nodded as she and Alpha Gerald spoke with Kael, thanking him.
Evan, as always, ignored formalities and pulled me into a warm hug. "Take care. And if you need anything, you know where to find me."
I returned the embrace, warmth settling in my chest. "I will. Thank you."
He lifted Raven into his arms, placing a soft kiss on his cheek. "Do not forget your uncle, alright?"
Raven nodded with a small smile. He had grown fond of Evan.
"Time to leave," Lucian said.
For a moment, I looked at my parents.
"See you... mom... dad..." The words came out hesitantly, unfamiliar on my tongue.
Just like I am still waiting for Raven to say it, they must be waiting as well. I wanted to leave them with that happiness now.
They smiled gently, easing my awkwardness. "See you soon."
I smiled back and stepped into the caravan.
As the vehicle began to move, Raven and I sat by the window, waving at them until they were out of sight.
After the long journey, we returned to our usual life. But something had changed. I was happier than I had ever been.
My life finally felt whole.
And now, I only waited for the arrival of my baby... another reason for joy in a life that finally felt complete.
