The night at the Gulf of Mexico was calm and still. Two small speedboats, five nautical miles away from Seagull Rock, had their engines turned off and were floating with the waves.

Brother Quan, Chen Wei, and others had changed into combat uniforms, wore black masks, and were performing the final equipment check.

In five minutes, the mercenary team called 'Hounds' would engage with the main defensive forces at Seagull Rock, and what Brother Quan's team had to do was to quietly infiltrate from the east side of the island amidst the chaos, find, and rescue Seth's daughter.

At nine o'clock, a sudden burst of light erupted from the west side of the island, as if something exploded on the sea surface.

Seeing this, Brother Quan immediately waved his hand, "Action!"

Upon receiving the command, the two speedboats quickly started, heading full speed towards the small island.

As they approached the beach, the speedboats didn't slow down, directly crashing onto the sand and forcefully grounding.

In this line of work, it's all about speed. They had to find the target before the enemy could react, otherwise, it would be difficult to escape once the opponent's reinforcements or the police arrived.

Brother Quan and others jumped out of the speedboats, heading straight into the dense jungle behind the beach.

The explosion on the west side continued, providing excellent cover for them, attracting all the island's defense forces over there.

"According to the planned route, target the building on the north slope!"

The eight individuals were divided into two groups, Brother Quan and Chen Wei each leading a group, advancing north from two directions.

The process was very smooth; they only encountered a few fixed sentry posts on the way, all of which were silently dealt with. Brother Quan's group of four were the first to approach the north slope.

In front of them were three two-story buildings, all lit up, making it impossible to distinguish in which room the target was held.

Brother Quan crouched behind a tree, observing quickly.

The three buildings formed a triangular shape, with more than ten guards stationed at the entrance.

"B Group, what's your situation?" he whispered into his earpiece.

Two seconds later, Chen Wei's response came through the headset, "B Group in position. We caught a soldier, he said there's indeed a woman on the island, in the innermost room of the middle building."

Brother Quan's eyes narrowed. He observed the guards around the buildings once more, then made a deployment: "An Zai, Da Pao, go to the left to create a diversion, Old Bai and I will draw fire from the front, and B Group will break through from behind."

"Get it done quickly! Get her out of there in three minutes!"

"Copy that!"

As soon as he finished speaking, An Zai and Da Pao had already moved to the left.

Brother Quan pulled out a stun grenade and tossed it toward the guards fifty meters away.

"Boom——!"

A loud explosion accompanied by a blinding white light forced two completely unprepared guards to scream, covering their ears and falling to the ground. The battle officially began.

"Go!"

Brother Quan shouted, shouldering his gun as he emerged from the trees, immediately opening fire.

Four MP5 guns fired simultaneously from two directions. Caught off guard, three guards were hit and fell almost instantly; the remaining guards hurriedly sought cover, gunfire erupted, and bullets flew everywhere.

"Suppress them!" Brother Quan shouted, forming crossfire with Old Bai, sealing the doorway and first-floor windows tightly, suppressing so that those inside dared not show their faces.

The guards in front of the left building attempted to provide support but were instantly repelled by An Zai and Da Pao's precise shots.

"B Group! Go!" Brother Quan yelled into his earpiece.

"Copy that!" Chen Wei's voice came through along with the sound of shattering glass.

The group led by Chen Wei had already broken through a window on the rear wall of the middle building.

Inside the corridor, a guard peeked out from the corner of the stairs, shot in the head by Chen Wei.

Another guard rushed out from a room but didn't get a chance to fire before being taken down by Niu Da with a submachine gun.

"Upstairs!"

Leading the way, Chen Wei sprinted towards the stairs.

As soon as he reached the corner, a burst of bullets sprayed against the wall, sending debris flying and forcing him to stop.

Pressed against the wall, Chen Wei pulled out a grenade, removed the safety pin, counted silently for two seconds, and tossed it upstairs.

"Boom——!"

A massive explosion rumbled, causing even the building to tremble.

Screams echoed from the staircase above; someone had been injured by the blast.

"Old Niu! Suppressive fire!" Chen Wei shouted.

Niu Da stepped out without hesitation, lifted his submachine gun, and unleashed a volley of fire towards the second-floor stairwell.

Taking advantage of the enemy's reluctance to expose themselves, Chen Wei continued moving forward, rushing to the second floor.

At the stair landing, a guard with a blown-off leg attempted to raise his gun, only to be finished off by Chen Wei.

"Old Eagle, hold the first floor! Everyone else, follow me up!"

Chen Wei led his team into the second-floor corridor. Just as he was about to peek out, a barrage of bullets came from the far end of the corridor.

The firepower was ferocious, tearing apart chunks of the wall, forcing him to quickly retreat to the stairwell.

"Damn it! At least a dozen guns, and they even have riot shields!"

Frowning, Chen Wei realized something was amiss from that quick glance.

The enemy was evidently heavily fortified on the second floor, with riot shields at the ready, the preparation was too thorough.

Before he could ponder further, fierce gunfire erupted from below the stairs, with Old Eagle shouting, "We're surrounded!"

Several room doors on the first floor suddenly opened, adding more firing points, making it impossible for him to show his head. All four of them were pinned at the stairwell.

The internal defense force was far more extensive than observed from outside.

This was a damn ambush! Chen Wei quickly assessed the situation.

"We can't break through! Retreat!"

Brother Quan, through the earpiece, roughly guessed the situation inside and immediately ordered, "An Zai! Da Pao! Go retrieve them! Mission aborted!"

The guards at the main entrance had mostly been cleared out; only the ones on the left and right were still returning fire.

Without hesitation, An Zai and Da Pao abandoned their suppression efforts and rushed into the main hall.
