Long pink hair, luminous pink eyes. She was the one for whom the word "Celestial" was more fitting.

"I’m not in the mood for a tease, Amora."

Vice Mimura said, bending to the flower and rubbing her hand on it when she got White’s scent to cancel it out.

"I haven’t seen you acting like the pesky child you once were in decades now."

"Saying my smell was irky. I should have bashed his face in."

"And why didn’t you?"

Vice Amora asked with an amused grin.

"Hmph! Rubbing off on Morgaine’s luck. I’ll catch him messing up again personally this time."

"I’ll make sure he regrets it."

Vice Mimura swore before becoming a white beam of light that disappeared into the distance.

It left just Amora, whose brows creased before an idea appeared in her head.

It made her freeze, then a smile tugged on her lips before she burst into giggles, which she tried to stop by placing her hands over her lips.

---

"Quite the adventure, wasn’t it?"

White said, wiggling to try and get water out of him before turning to put on his socks and shoes.

"Morgaine!"

Nova shrieked out, and White picked up on that, turning back only to have a hand appear before his face, blocking his vision.

"Don’t look."

The sight of that made Morgaine giggle.

With her in her undies and just stepping out of the water, it made her clothes cling to her body, exposing her bust.

She wore her uniform again, passing by the red-cheeked Nova and whispering,

"Don’t worry. I won’t try to steal him off your hands... unless he falls for my body."

She added with a wink.

"Hey!"

Nova shouted in disbelief as Morgaine imitated an evil cackle.

"You know... my eyes may be blocked, but my hearing still works pretty well."

White said, and it was both girls’ turn to turn red, leaving White with a victorious evil laughter.

"It’s so late already. Come on, let’s get back to the dorm room."

White said, turning his back only to be knocked three steps backward as Nova jumped onto his back.

"Carry me."

She whispered as White replied with a lift of his chest.

"Yes, my Princess."

Nova giggled at his antics, but then paused, noticing something and asking,

"And who’s the queen?"

"Me, of course."

Morgaine said, winking at her from the side.

"And why are you the queen?"

White asked amusedly.

"I don’t need someone to carry me on their back. I lead from the front."

Morgaine replied fluidly.

"Fair enough."

POW!

"Hey!"

White cried from the hot burn at the back of his head.

"Hmph!"

Nova hmmed, burying her neck into his shoulder with cheeks puffed in annoyance, though her hands only held him tighter.

---

30 minutes later...

"Huuu,"

White exhaled out in relief as he collapsed on his bed, splashes of water from his wet hair pouring onto his face.

He had just taken a cold shower after the day’s end.

It had been a long day, but just like the recent days, it had been a good one.

White felt his head clear, and with that, he was able to sink into the bed, the memories of the day making a smile bloom onto his lips.

Eventually, he yawned, eyes zipping shut.

He knew he couldn’t sleep, but at least tonight, to give his day a perfect ending... he would pretend to do so, keeping his eyes closed just until the sun showed up and cast its golden rays across his face.

Like this, he pretended to fall asleep but then, after about two hours, his rhythm of breathing changed, becoming softer as his shaky brows stopped moving, leaving themselves closed.

After days, the impossible had finally happened...

White fell asleep!

---___---

It was a world now beyond familiar... the world of dark.

It was nothing but comforting to White now, not strange anymore, and that was why when he found himself within, he wasn’t shaken.

"There’s a darkness in you."

The words echoed out, sending a ripple through the darkness.

It reached White, passing through him like a wave of energy, but he didn’t stir.

The voice wasn’t one of danger, like it was doing nothing but stating a simple fact.

There’s darkness in everyone.

The thought came as a quiet reply.

We... we have it in a greater amount than most. A darkness in our souls that is darker than darkness itself.

The voice rippled out once more.

And who are we?

White asked in thought.

Abrupt silence, then a single word.

"Umbrawyrs..."

---

Flicker!

A blue wave of light flickered through the room as a pair of eyes opened up.

Golden rays of sunlight were cast across his face, and he turned his eyes to it, letting them shine directly into his eyes.

What would have made him wince before, when he was still a boy, only appeared invigorating, and he quietly rose up from his bed.

Turning to his runic watch, he was in time to find it make a beep.

"Next class begins in 40 minutes."

He turned to his device and noticed the time.

"6:30"

His eyes trailed lower, noticing a couple notifications on the side.

It was a message from two people, Morgaine and Nova.

"Wakey Wakeyyyy! Class starts soon."

Even without checking the name, he already knew it was Nova.

"First to get to class. I’ll bet a kiss."

He typed back, turning to the other message, which was Morgaine’s.

It was simple.

"You up?"

It read, and White could easily guess this was probably her first time sending a message with her device.

But... to be fair, it was his first time too, even ever receiving a message from them or any student.

A wicked idea appeared in his head and he typed back.

Up ages ago... gem head.

White left the phone on the bed and moved to the bathroom when all of a sudden he froze up an impossible realization, hitting him.

The system panel confirmed it:

[You slept.]
