Ren was informed in the GC that they will meet the other S classes that were newly recruited. Ren immediately went to buy snacks for them to eat later.

He bought popcorn and cheese powder for later.

With that, he felt excited to see these new recruits were. Then there came knocking on his door. They were Kevin and Evans.

"Morning Ren," Evans said to him.

"Morning....." Ren replied, "Well, come in!"

The two entered and then they sat in the floor after removing their shoes.

"The recruits are coming, they said in the GC. I told them the address of your house." Kevin then paused. "We also met monsters on the way, so my clothes were stained." He said.

"I have spare clothes, let me give it to you." Ren said to him.

"Evans was fine as he teleported before the guts and blood of enemies would stain his clothes." Kevin said.

"Haha, I am faster than you think!" Evans put his hands on the waist.

Meanwhile, the two recruits were lost in the city. Ken and Kent have run into monsters here and there and has lost directions.

"Man, I am directionally challenged!" Ken said then wiped the blood from his sword.

"Hah, me too....." Kent replied. The two were all surrounded by monsters, though they were all weak ones. Lesser monsters like goblins, were giggling as they attacked.

Healer Kent was their target. But Ken drew his sword and they were slashed by Ken. His slashes were fast enough to see blurs only. The monsters were all slashed to bits.

They immediately were bathed with their blood and goo. Ken and Kent then covered their faces with their arms but their clothes were stained.

"Man, this is not good. My favorite clothes were all in a mess." Kent said then wiped the bits of flesh from his shoulders.

Then the two were seen by Kevin as he flew in the sky. He immediately landed and scorched the monsters to burned carcasses.

"That’s Kevin! The Elemental Mage Hero!" Kent announced.

"Man, what took you so long?" Kevin asked.

"Um you see, we are lost after these bastards came entertaining us." Ken said to them.

"Just say we are just directionally challenged." Kevin interjected.

"I see, well follow me!" Kevin said to them.

They all went to follow him and it was just a few kilometers from their destination. Ren’s house was just ahead if they would follow the straight path.

They arrived and then went to see his house on the second floor.

The two then saw that the house was cozy inside. Ren went to place juice on the table and then the two went to drank.

Ken was full of grime and blood and so Ren gave him a spare clothing and then he washed. He went out of the bath and then Ren immediately turned the TV on.

The TV flashed and they saw the news. They announced that the underworld was moving....in the headlines.

"The monsters underground are now moving to attack the surface...."

"The Underworld King will conquer the surface and were on the move...the mission of S classes investigated and they confirmed that the underworld were gathering armies."

And then they would have to take actions as they will level down the city A where they were at.

Ren was infuriated as his dorm was included in the destruction.... He summed up and he still has to pay for the dorm and it will be obliterated if he does not take action.....

Ren was furious.... He nearly smashed the table with his fist! He will be living in streets if not for his landlord that offered him low monthly fees....

He will defend this city no matter what.....

"Man, I will have to make my move soon." Ren said to them. Kevin then sighed and put his hands on his waist. "I understand. City A is your home and you will defend it with your life."

"Yes!" Ren said then gripped his fist. "Also, this is our hideout for now. If we get a better one, then we could relocate. But for now... We should make do with what we have."

Then Ren cooked popcorn and they all went discussing certain matters. He put popcorn on the table and then Ren went eating on the side.

"The Underworld," Kevin paused. "They are monsters that are as strong as S classes. I have met some of their scouts and I have a hard time dealing with them."

"I see, so they are that strong huh." Ken said then gripped his sword.

"Well, this group is made for that purpose. We will clear all towers and dungeons. As well as monsters that came from the portals." Kevin said to them.

"I see, well not all S class have that goal. Some of them were just into fame. Some even wanted to become celebrities than a hero." He said.

"Hmm, I see. Well it’s good to hear that we are not those guys. By the way, where is our master?" Ken asked.

Ren jolted a bit. Then Kevin replied. "Ren knows the Master and he will relay his instructions to us."

"I see, I would like to meet him personally. But maybe as of now, he was busy and has many things to do." Ken said.

Evans then smiled, "Yah, we will all meet him soon."

Ren then said, "I am Ren, a C class hero."

"He is the direct disciple of the master!" Kevin announced. Then Ren pinched his side. "Ouch! What!?" He voiced out.

"I am sorry for Kevin’s remarks. I am just a humble C class hero." Ren said.

"Ren! Hope we get along well." Ken said to him.

"Yeah! Sure!" He said.....

Ren then saw an interface.

Ren then was happy and then went to ask them. "By the way, how many S class are there in the Association?’

"Hmm, I can’t know the exact details but there could be more than 50. A classes have 100 plus, B were 150, and C were 200 plus. There are even entities that are stronger." Kevin said to them.

"Looks like we are small compared to the whole." Evans said to them.

"We should gather more S classes." Ken suggested.

"Yeah, we could even train A ranks into S classes!" Kevin said to them with a renewed spirit.

"Though about the Underworld King," Evans asked.

"Let our master deal with him." Kevin said to them.

They were all shocked. "Really!?" Kent was shocked.

Ren smiled, after Kevin winked at him. "Okay! Let’s gather more S classes and Train A ranks to become S rankers. That’s our goal for now!" Kevin shouted.

"As for the trainer, Ren will be the one to do that." Kevin said.

They were all shocked. "A C class!?"

"Yep! He is stronger than you imagined. He can....."

"No," Ren replied.

Kevin nearly coughed. "Okay, I respect your decision."

"Who will be the trainer?" They asked.

"Man, you nearly blew my cover." Ren whispered to Kevin.

"I’m sorry..." Kevin said.

"Well, we all could be the trainer. Depends on the disciple maybe." Ren said.

"Oh, yeah! That’s a good idea!" Evans said then patted Ren on the back. "Our caretaker Ren has some insights!"

"Yeah!" Evans said to them.

"I will support you all, guys! So don’t worry!" Ren announced.

"Let’s celebrate for the newcomers and as well as Ren’s new position as the caretaker!" Kevin shouted.

Then Ren suggested. "We will have grilled pork tonight!"

Yey!

"And drinks on me!" Kevin shouted.

They went merry and then they all partied that night. But then, morning came and then another round of endeavor was brewing. The Underworld King was on the move.....
