Ren was handed a piece of paper and he scanned the contents of it, he saw that it was a contract given to him.

"Please sign the contract and so you will be officially a Hero! Sign at the bottom right here....." She guided his pen on the signature line above his name.

As stated, he was now a Hero. He immediately signed it and then Kevin congratulated him.

"Congratulations master! You are now officially a Hero! Let’s eat in a restaurant later, all on me!" He said to him.

"Oh, hmm, okay!" Ren could just not believe it all, he was a bit of a trance. At last he was now officially a Hero with his license to defeat monsters and villains.

They went to leave the testing area and then a Hero suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

He appeared in front of them and smirked. "Oh? Is this the S class Hero Elemental Mage? Why are you chasing the tail of a C class hero? You are shaming the S classes! Even calling him master? Have you lost your mind?" He asked.

"Ah, Shin, you don’t have to pry your nose too much on other people’s business. Mind your own, I will do what I want and it is not your concern." Kevin said to him and felt annoyed.

"Huh? Are you brainwashed by this man? Just who he thinks he is! And calling him your master is absurd. I think reflect on your actions as you are shaming the S classes!" Shin interjected.

"And you, C class trash, I don’t like cocky bastards who are all talk and no bite. You are just a frog in the well not knowing the vastness of the ocean." Shin said to him then Kevin spoke up, quite agitated. His aura was gushing out from his body.

"You, you don’t know who my master is, and you’re here talking like a bigshot." Kevin said then paused, "Master is stronger than you think. And I am telling you to not underestimate him. Or else you were the frog in the well, not him."

Shin then was triggered, "Huh? I am the frog in the well? Me? That’s it, I will remember this insult you made."

"How about a bet?" Kevin said to him.

"Huh? Bet?" Shin’s brow raised.

"If he can become an S class and surpass your rank then you will kowtow and call him master." Kevin said.

"I will call him master? Even if he’s weaker than me? Are you joking? What can C class do to become an S class?" He asked.

"Are you in or not?" Kevin said a challenge.

"Deal, if he will even become S Class, even the lowest, I will honor him and respect him. But what I can’t understand was why you call him your master? A C Class of all people?" He was about to snap.

"Well, you will find out soon. Just you wait." He said.

Ren and Kevin then left him with many questions. Shin was having his mouth agape and was confused.

He then said to the staff.

"Let me get the info of the C Class Hero Ren." He asked the clerk.

"Here!" She said to him as she handed him his records.

Shin then watched his records and was surprised, "He.....he was unmeasurable in stats, all errors?"

"Yes, and also his class was a cloner type. He could clone his body into three. And he was able to beat the combat test instructor in less than 1 minute." She said, "That’s the fastest record in this testing branch!"

"I see, cloning huh. I will take note of that." Shin said. "Even with Ethereal Assassination, it will take a huge amount of damage to defeat the Juggernaut Class of our tester. I can deal damage instantly I could become ethereal but my damage was not able to scratch him at all!"

She immediately nodded, "Hmm Hmm, see? Even I am impressed! It’s not his speed only but his raw strength. His damage was able to make our combat tester surrender immediately." She added. "To the point he has blackened eyes."

"I see, Ren Griffin, just who are you?" He said.

"Investigate his past life, I found a good one that took my interest....." Shin commanded.

"Yes, sir!" She said to him.

Meanwhile, Ren and Kevin was in the grilling restaurant. They grilled meat on their table and were eating grilled meat.

"Man, I am so hungry." Ren protested.

"I will put more on the grill master," Kevin said then put them on the grill.

Then Ren was watching his interface. He just copied the class of Shin. And so, he knew now why he was cocky because he has a good job class.....

"Kevin, what is Shin’s class?" Asked Ren.

"Him? Oh, Ethereal Assassin class. He has speed unmatched in the Hero branch in the City B. He was unhittable when he used his Ethereal Mode." He said then munched the meat.

"Oh, I see." Ren watched the invisible screen and then was happy.

"Hello there," the man approached and said.

Kevin was shocked. "This man, he is one of the top ten just like Shin. Evans, the Teleporter Hero!"

He looked at them and combed his blonde hair backwards.

"Kevin, can I join you?" He asked.

"What? Here to insult me and my master?" Kevin was not in the mood.

"Oh no, I am here to congratulate you both. You see, I am not like Shin that like spouting his mouth like a dog barking without biting. I am here to make friends!" He said.

"Friends?" Ren was curious but as well wary. He did not trust him that easily.

"Okay, fine, I am here to ask who defeated the Insect Monarchs. I know Kevin too well, you know! And that monster above the Insect Monarchs, The insect King. I Clashed with him once and I was told that he was in the City A." Evans said to them.

"Um, he was dead." Said Kevin

"Huh!?" His face turned pale. "And the Insect Monarchs! They were forces that were on par with S classes!"

"Dead too....." He added.

"Huh!?" Evans nearly choked.

"Who?" He nearly shouted. All the customers there paused and watched them. Then they resumed in their chatter.

"You see my friend, you must eat the food first, it will grow cold. I will tell you later who." Kevin patted his back.

"Then, let me express my thanks to that master. He is worthy to be thanked personally. Can I meet him?" He nearly bowed.

"Then we are in the same page brother. I will let you become his disciple if you eat the food first." He said.

"Disciple? I am flattered. But yeah! It is a good proposal." Evans said.

They immediately ate and then they all were merry that night. Evans then became their friend and then they exchanged numbers and made a GC for their group.

Kevin then named it "The Gathering of S classes".

Ren was their Master and then Kevin was their secretary or Butler. Ren was overwhelmed and just played along...

"Hmm? With a Sect of S classes? Are you out of your mind?" Ren just couldn’t imagine his plan. "It was absurdly... fantastic!"

Ren then remembered his slain friends in the past. He immediately promised to cherish what he had this time. Not wanting any of them to perish.

"A Sect of S classes... Not bad though." Ren muttered.
