SSS-Rank Awakening: My Talent Multiplies Everything
Chapter 27: SSS-Rank Eye Of Judgment.
Kael stared at the screen in complete shock.
"It can do that too...?"
Honestly, he still did not fully understand the true limits of his talent or just how absurd it actually was.
Up until now, he had assumed the Infinite Reward Multiplier only worked on rewards. After all, the meaning was literally in the name itself.
But skills too?
That changed everything.
This single realization alone instantly opened an entirely new world of possibilities inside his mind.
If skills could be multiplied and upgraded, then what else could his talent affect?
What was its actual limit?
Did it even have one?
Countless thoughts rushed through Kael’s mind, but before he could process them further, the system screen lit up again.
[Upgrade complete.]
[Eye of Truth (D-Rank) → Eye of Judgement (SSS-Rank)]
Kael’s mouth slowly opened slightly.
SSS-Rank.
Again.
This was only the second time he had ever seen that designation appear before him. The first had been during his tutorial rating, and he honestly never expected to encounter it again so soon.
Yet now, a D-Rank skill had directly evolved into an SSS-Rank one.
Kael felt his heartbeat quicken slightly.
His talent was even more terrifying than he originally imagined.
Without wasting another second, he immediately opened the skill description.
---
[Skill: Eye of Judgement]
Rank: SSS
Abilities:
•—Absolute Verdict—•
Can view complete information of all entities within range of sight through judgement of worth. Higher existences may resist.
Note: Information viewed may exceed common knowledge.
•—Mark of Judgement—•
Brands a target with an invisible mark that persists indefinitely. The marked target cannot hide their status, intentions, or actions from the user regardless of distance.
•—Condemned Sight—•
When activated on a target already under Sovereign Claim, reveals the full depth of the claimed entity’s abilities including locked, dormant, and potential abilities not yet awakened. These may be drawn out and added to the Claim’s trait extraction.
•—Judgement Pulse—•
Once per month. Releases a wide-range pulse that forces Absolute Verdict on every entity within range simultaneously.
Current Range: 10km.
•—True Sovereign’s Gaze—•
Resistance to deceit, manipulation, charm, illusion, mental influence, and status effects is greatly enhanced.
•—Eyes of Supreme Judgement—•
Condenses the user’s accumulated Cosmic Weight and drives it through an active Mark of Judgement into the target’s existence. If sufficient, it collapses the target’s standing beneath the user’s rank.
---
Kael stared at the screen silently for several long moments.
Then he slowly inhaled.
"This is insane..."
No.
Insane was honestly too small a word for this.
This skill was utterly monstrous.
None of the abilities directly increased his raw physical strength, yet somehow that only made it feel even more terrifying.
Just reading through the descriptions alone was enough for Kael to immediately realize which class perk had synergized with it during the upgrade.
Sovereign Claim.
Previously, that class perk had honestly felt almost useless.
The randomness behind it made it unreliable. He could neither properly choose his targets nor guarantee the traits he would obtain.
But now?
Everything had changed completely.
The randomness was gone.
He could now specifically select targets worth claiming.
Not only that, but Condemned Sight even allowed him to view hidden and dormant abilities before extraction.
And the most absurd part of all... "Eyes of Supreme Judgement."
The original restriction of Sovereign Claim requiring the target to be beneath him had practically been bypassed entirely.
As long as he could forcefully lower their standing through judgement, Sovereign Claim could activate.
Kael still did not fully understand what Cosmic Weight actually referred to, but even then, he could already tell how terrifying this ability truly was.
The thought alone made his blood boil slightly with excitement.
The ability to claim powerful existences and force them beneath him.
Just imagining it sent a thrill through his entire body.
Unfortunately, before he could continue fantasizing about future experiments, his stomach suddenly growled loudly.
Kael blinked.
Then he looked down at himself before letting out a tired sigh.
Assigning that many stat points had clearly exhausted his body badly and burned through an absurd amount of energy in the process.
Without wasting time, he closed the status screen and headed toward the kitchen.
This time, he made himself an actual proper meal.
After eating, Kael returned back to his room and lazily dropped onto the bed, his eyes staring quietly toward the ceiling above.
At first, the silence felt peaceful.
Then slowly It became boring.
Very boring.
Kael stared blankly upward.
"This is going to be a long day..."
The past several days had been so packed with activity that he never really noticed how empty his free time actually was.
But now he had nothing to do, he quickly realized something important.
He genuinely could not sit around doing nothing for too long.
At this rate, boredom alone might actually kill him before the Tower did.
The only thing he truly wanted to do right now was enter the Tower again, but unfortunately that was impossible.
He would have to wait until tomorrow before receiving another entry attempt.
Kael sighed quietly before suddenly pausing.
Then he smacked his own forehead lightly.
"...Why didn’t I think of that earlier?"
The reason he sold his gaming setup before was because he desperately needed money for the Hunter Exam registration.
But now?
Money was literally the one thing he did not lack anymore.
Without wasting another second, Kael immediately pulled out his phone and began browsing through high-end setups.
Since he was already buying again, he decided he might as well go all out this time.
A better monitor. A better system. A better everything.
By the time he finished placing the order, the bill had climbed to a ridiculous amount.
Still, Kael paid without hesitation.
But after checking his account balance afterward, he could not help sighing softly.
The feeling of being rich and poor at the same time honestly felt terrible.
He seriously needed to find a proper method to exchange Tower Coins into real-world currency safely.
The Hunter Association was not a reliable long-term option.
Repeatedly exchanging massive amounts through them would eventually attract unnecessary attention and problems.
Of course, joining a guild was another option.
But Kael dismissed that thought almost immediately.
Guilds were not any cleaner than the Hunter Association.
Most were filled with corruption behind the scenes.
Exposing massive wealth before organizations like that was practically equivalent to throwing fresh meat into a pack of starving wolves.
And Kael definitely was not stupid enough to do that.
He needed a safer and more private method.
One where he would not constantly have to risk his life over money.
Unfortunately, no good solution immediately came to mind.
Eventually, he sighed again before deciding to stop worrying about it for now.
For the time being, he simply laid back lazily on the bed and waited for his new setup to arrive.
