Chapter 202: Chapter 202: The First Princess Of New Era

Nine months had passed since the Grand Summit fell to its knees.

The five continents were no longer divided by petty squabbles, border wars, or the arrogance of false gods. The Dragon Empire covered the earth in a seamless blanket of absolute order. The violet ether-shield still pulsed high above the clouds, a constant guardian against the eyes of the firmament. Down below, cities were rebuilt.

The Chaos Order brought unprecedented prosperity. Trade flowed without bandits. Magic was regulated and perfected. The world rested perfectly in the palm of Adonis Kingsbane.

But on this particular day, the tyrannical Dragon Emperor was not focused on world domination, celestial arrays, or the incoming war with the upper realms. His entire universe had narrowed down to a single, heavily warded chamber in the heart of the Central Imperial Palace.

The royal maternity ward was a masterpiece of magical engineering. The walls were lined with white marble and inlaid with gold runes that continuously pumped pure, soothing life-ether into the air. The scent of blooming lotus and ancient restorative herbs filled the room. Seven supreme healers from the former Infinite Jade Empire stood in a circle around the bed, their hands glowing with gentle green light.

In the center of the room, on a massive bed draped in the finest reinforced silk, Mariana gripped the sheets. Her beautiful face was flushed with exertion, her pink hair plastered to her forehead with sweat.

"Just a little more, My Queen," the lead healer urged, shaking under the overwhelming pressure of delivering the Emperor’s firstborn. "The ether pathways are perfectly clear. The child is incredibly strong."

"I know she is strong!" Mariana gasped, "She has been kicking my ether core for the last three months!"

Adonis stood right beside her. The man who had erased entire bloodlines without blinking was entirely focused, his large hand holding Mariana’s delicate fingers. He channeled a steady stream of his own violet ether into her body, carefully balancing her pain and energy levels.

"You are doing perfectly finr, wife," Adonis said softly.

"Breathe. I am right here."

"If she inherits your stubbornness, husband, I am going to make you change every single diaper," Mariana shot back, letting out a sharp cry as another contraction hit her.

From the corner of the large chamber, Sapphira let out a soft chuckle.

"I think the child will be just as gentle as her mother. You have nothing to worry about, Mariana."

"Easy for you to say, sister Sapphira," Isabella Frostbite muttered.

The beautiful ice-mage sat in a plush velvet chair near the window. Her usually slender figure was visibly swollen, her hands resting protectively over her own rounded belly.

She was six months pregnant, her ice-blue hair falling over her shoulders.

"Wait until your turn comes, Sapphira. This little frost dragon inside me has been freezing my tea before I can even drink it."

"My shadows are much more polite," Millia chimed in. She sat beside Isabella, her dark robes adjusted to accommodate her own five-month pregnancy.

"Though I do find myself craving the strangest things at midnight. Just last night, I asked the royal chefs to fry a gloom-mushroom in honey. And the baby still kicked me because it was not crispy enough."

"Focus, everyone! The baby is almost here!" Claudia clapped her hands, her eyes filled with anticipation.

Mariana let out one final, resounding scream.

Then, a brilliant flash of pink and violet light erupted from the bed, forcing the healers to shield their eyes.

The burst of ether was so dense that it actually rattled the reinforced windows of the palace.

Then, a sound pierced the silence.

"Heheheh!"

It was not a normal baby’s cry. It was a loud, energetic, and utterly joyful giggle.

"She is here!" the lead healer announced, reaching out to wrap the newborn in a prepared golden blanket.

But before the healer’s hands could even touch the child, the baby simply slipped upward.

"Wait, what?" Claudia gasped, her eyes going wide.

The newborn baby did not fall into the healer’s arms. Instead, she floated straight up into the air, completely defying gravity. She bobbed near the ceiling like a tiny, extremely powerful balloon.

Mariana was wide eyed as she looked up. "Husband, did my baby just fly away?"

Adonis blinked, a rare look of genuine surprise crossing his majestic features. He looked up at the ceiling.

There, wrapped in a shimmering aura of pink ether, was his daughter. She had a full head of soft pink hair, exactly like Mariana’s. Her tiny eyes were wide open, glowing with a vibrant mix of violet and emerald light.

She giggled again, doing a clumsy little somersault in mid-air.

Adonis smiled,

"Well, It seems she has already mastered levitation. That is quite efficient."

"Adonis! Catch her!" Mariana cried out, half-laughing and half-panicking. "She is going to bump her head on the chandelier!"

Sapphira was already moving. With lightning-fast reflexes, the dragon queen leaped into the air, reaching out to gently grab the floating newborn.

"Come to your third mother, little ome."

But the baby saw Sapphira coming. With another joyful squeal, the tiny girl expelled a burst of pink ether, shooting across the room like a miniature rocket.

Sapphira missed completely, landing gracefully on her feet while the baby bounced softly against the velvet curtains.

"Oh my goodness," Isabella laughed, holding her pregnant belly as she watched the chaos unfold. "She is entirely too fast. Sapphira, you were just outmaneuvered by a child who is exactly thirty seconds old."

"Hmm. She has our husband’s speed and Maria’s star power," Sapphira grumbled playfully, rubbing her hands together. "Alright, little one. Let us see how good your evasion skills really are."

Claudia stepped in front of Sapphira, holding her arms open

. "Do not treat the princess like a training dummy, sistrt Sapphira! Come here, little one. Come to Auntie Claudia."

The baby tilted her head, floating downwards slightly. She hovered right in front of Claudia’s face, staring at the former knight.

Then, she reached out with two chubby little hands and grabbed a fistful of Claudia’s blonde hair, giving it a firm, happy yank.

"Ouch! Okay, she has a very strong grip," Claudia winced, though she was smiling from ear to ear.

She carefully placed her hands around the floating baby, securing her before she could zoom off again.

Claudia walked over to the bed, gently lowering the hovering child into Mariana’s waiting arms. The moment the baby touched her mother, the pink levitation aura faded into a soft, warm glow. The child snuggled into Mariana’s chest, her tiny pink hair brushing against the silk sheets.

The room was filled with a profound, beautiful warmth. The healers bowed respectfully and quietly exited the chamber, leaving the royal family to their private moment.

Mariana looked down at her daughter, tears of pure joy streaming down her cheeks.

"She is perfect, hubby. Look at her. She has your eyes."

Adonis sat on the edge of the bed. He reached out with one large, battle-scarred finger. The baby immediately grabbed it, her tiny hand wrapping around his finger with surprising strength. The violet ether in his veins hummed in perfect harmony with the pink ether in hers.

"Yes, she is perfect," Adonis agreed, his "She is the first heir to the Chaos Order. A true princess of the new world."

Isabella slowly stood up from her chair, waddling over to the bed with Millia right behind her. They both leaned in to get a closer look at the newborn.

"She is so small," Millia whispered, her dark eyes softening. She instinctively placed a hand on her own pregnant belly. "To think that in just a few months, we will have two more running around the palace. Or flying around, apparently."

"I am going to need to install anti-gravity nets in the nursery," Isabella sighed dramatically, "If Mariana’s child can fly at birth, my child is probably going to turn the floor into a Iceberg. And Millia, your baby will likely teleport right out of the crib."

"Then we will simply have to train them early," Sapphira declared, crossing her arms proudly as she walked over to join the group. "I will teach them martial arts. Claudia can teach them swordplay. Isabella will handle elemental theory, and Millia can teach them Shadow Manipulation."

"Haha, She is a baby, sister Sapphira," Mariana laughed, "Let her learn how to walk before you teach her how to punch a mountain."

"Why walk when she can already fly?" Sapphira teased, winking at the newborn. "Besides, she needs to be strong. The universe is a very large place, and she is a Kingsbane."

Claudia brought a warm towel, gently wiping the sweat from Mariana’s brow. "You did wonderfully, Mariana. We are all so proud of you. The entire empire is waiting for the news outside. The plaza is completely full of people holding lanterns."

"Let them wait a little longer," Adonis commanded gently. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

He them carefully scooped the baby out of Mariana’s arms, holding his daughter against his broad chest.

The little girl looked up at the fearsome Dragon Emperor. She did not see a tyrant. She did not see the man who had erased continents and crushed kings. She just saw her father. She reached up, patting his cheek with a soft, warm hand.

Adonis closed his eyes for a brief second. A flood of memories washed over him. He remembered the cold nights when he was treated like dirt by his own family. He remembered the pain, the betrayal, and the agonizing climb to the very top of the world.

He had fought the old gods, he had defied the fate, and he had built the Chaos Order out of pure necessity to survive and to protect the ones he loved.

Now, holding this tiny, fragile life, he realized that the empire was no longer just a tool for survival. It was a cradle. He had conquered the world so that his daughter would never have to know the cruelty of the old nobility.

She would never have to bow to false archons or corrupt lords. She was born into a world where the laws were written by her family.

"What will we name her?" Mariana asked softly, watching her husband with loving eyes.

Adonis looked down at the little girl, whose pink hair was already glowing with a faint, magical light again.

"Aurelia," Adonis declared, his voice filled with absolute certainty. "Aurelia Kingsbane. The dawn of the new era."
