Chapter 482: Vengful asshole

Silva stood there looking at the sky. Ragna was headed his way. That was not good. Something like that was definitely not good.

"Sigh, is there ever a moment of rest with me?" he asked while he slashed the neck of an abyssal monster that came rushing at him.

Ragna was no ordinary enemy. He was an enemy of grand magnitude, a primordial being. His presence here could shatter everything.

"Guys, I think we need to wrap this up fast. Ragna is coming," Silva spoke through his mind to everyone in the group and when they heard it, they knew the urgency of the issue. He, on the other hand, summoned all of his clones.

"Hey hey, it’s been a while," one clone said while stretching.

"I’m guessing you all know the issue at hand?" Silva asked immediately.

"Which of the issues? The fact that we have abyssal monsters running around, or three demigods are watching, or is it Ragna who is coming?" one of the clones responded.

"Handle the abyssal monsters. I think I’ll fly up and meet those demigods before Ragna arrives," Silva said.

"We got you. Everything will be cleared up in a moment," the clones said and then immediately got to work.

Silva brought out his wings and in one flap he shot into the air fast.

The three demigods in the air noticed when Silva started coming their way. They all looked with different reactions.

"Someone is coming towards us," the elf said.

"Yeah, fast," Kren said. They all looked and waited to see who that was. Silva flew up into their view in a few seconds but he was a few meters away, as if keeping his distance.

The three looked at him for a few seconds, and then the elf asked first.

"Who are you?"

Silva gave no response for a bit. He simply looked at them, and then after what seemed like a very unusual amount of time, he opened his mouth and spoke. "I am Silva." He kept it short and vague.

The elf was the first to reply, "Nice to meet you, Silva. We can’t really tell you who we are, but we are an envoy from the empire," he said in a calm and composed manner, much different from how he spoke before.

"Empire? What the hell is that? I’m pretty sure there was nothing like that anywhere," Silva thought. He looked at them suspiciously and then responded, "Empire? I have never heard of that. Are you sure that you are not just some demigods trying to come cause trouble on this world?" he asked.

"No, we are—" Kren tried to speak but the elf cut him short.

"And if we are?" His tone was dead serious. His eyes locked with Silva for a heavy second and then he burst into a chuckle. "I’m sorry, pay me no heed. I was only joking," he said and then continued to explain, "you are at the very outskirts of the universe and as such you do not understand what is happening.

Order has created an empire to foster universe wide unity against a growing threat, the Abyss, similar to what you are facing now. But the threat of the Abyss is far larger than simple rifts.

The Abyss is a mass that exists between universes, waiting for the right opportunity to seep into one and then cause chaos. Well, it managed to get into ours eons ago and has been under management, but now it can no longer be managed, and so Order has decided that he will fix that by creating an empire," the elf took a good amount of time to explain.

"Are you trying to tell me that Order was not in charge before?" That was the first question that left Silva’s mouth.

’Something about this whole thing does not sit well with me. I’ll find out what that is and what that has to do with Order.’

"Do not get it wrong," the lady spoke this time. "Order has always controlled all things. His order is the very reason that the universe did not collapse."

"But that order failed to keep out the Abyss," Iten continued. "So new order must be made and to do that, the empire will be made and all people will fall under it and help the fight against the Abyss, this world and many more after it."

"You mean every world will be forced into this?" Silva asked. He was processing what they were telling him at a crazy rate and already seeing all the issues with it.

"Indeed, and every world that proves that they cannot stand against the Abyss will be eradicated for the sake of their uselessness," the elf said.

Silva’s eyes widened. He looked right at them. "How do you know a world that can survive?" he asked eagerly.

"They will all face the tribulation of a rift," the elf said. "I’m telling you this because you are a demigod as well, so you can understand the way it must go."

Silva went silent for a moment, not because he was thinking about what they had said, but because he had realized something very important and crucial. His home world would have to face the very same rift attack.

When that realization hit him, a frown formed on his face. He had left them to ensure that they were safe, but now Order had found a way to drag them into the whole situation.

"This is a joke, right?" he muttered under his breath. A chuckle escaped his lips. He had a feeling that Order knew what he was doing. Many people saw Order as a massive being that loved to keep order, but Silva saw him as a vengeful asshole that wanted to punish him for what the Dark Dragon had done.

"Haha," Silva let out a laugh and then looked at them. "Thank you for the information, but aside from that, it would be best if you all leave here."
