The Phoenix master frowned. The message from her daughter wasn’t that clear, but she could sense some of the contents. What had gone wrong?

Phoenix major world was near Thunder World. The Phoenix master could see it ahead, as well as the Thunder master. He had been circling near the world gates these days, exerting his might in all directions. The Phoenix master frowned at the sight.

How could Earth Dragon have betrayed them? Who would dare do so with the Dragon master still alive and well?

Although Long Xuan had set out in that direction... he might not be able to take down Earth Dragon if the latter really had betrayed them. And when it came to the Dragon master, he was either in the Skyward dao universe or caught in the middle of fighting. He couldn’t leave easily.

What a hassle!

“Gentlemen!” She looked at the two seventh ranks next to her. “Something’s looking a bit off. The Thunder master hasn’t done anything these days and Earth Dragon is acting oddly. Long Xuan is heading there right now... but we are unable to divide our attention since Thunder World is here...”

She thought about it before proposing, “Let’s wait a bit for now. If Long Xuan is unable to take down Earth Dragon or it’s all a misunderstanding... it’s fine if it’s a misunderstanding. But if something really is amiss with Earth Dragon, I might leave first!

“The two of you need to be careful. Once I leave and the Thunder master is still in residence, it will be down to the two of you to blockade him in Thunder World first!”

“The world master... is going over there?” The aged phoenix was surprised. Thunder World was where they should focus on!

It wasn’t a done deal whether or not Earth Dragon had betrayed them, so their efforts should still center on Thunder World. The deadline of a month would soon be at hand. The Thunder master was even starting to approach them with a desire to sign a dao treaty.

“We need to take care of the weaker ones first,” the Phoenix master took a deep breath. “If something really is amiss with Earth Dragon, then we are beset by enemies. I will have to travel there and work with Long Xuan to eliminate him! Also, Feng Yan is over there.

“Long Xuan will arrive in a day. We still have time!”

The two exalted emperors met each other’s eyes and nodded.

“If it really comes down to it, I can go to where Dragon major world stood,” the draconic elder said softly. “With Long Xuan present, I’ll be able to join him using a secret draconic art. The world master should stay here and stay focused on Thunder World!”

“I understand, my thanks!” The Phoenix master said no more. She was just a bit annoyed.

They’d lost contact with the Dragon master after he entered the Skyward dao universe, that was one point of irritation. Something was weird with Earth Dragon, that was another. Thunder World had her caught between a rock and a hard place, that was the third.

All three happening in conjunction made her uneasy. It would be fine if just one of these matters took place.

“It’s a good thing that the monster spirits have stayed quiet,” she quickly said. “But the Ironeaters are too strong. They have three seventh ranks and their world master is a peak seventh rank. His physical body is enormously powerful and none of the other major worlds can easily make a move.

“However, Valiant Tiger, Giant Elephant, and Treasure can make some moves at critical moments!”

The three major worlds had surrounded Thunder World. Apart from Thunder Region to the rear, Thunder World now faced Phoenix in front of it, Valiant Tiger to the left, and Treasure to the right.

Giant Elephant could still move around. If trouble developed with Earth Dragon, Giant Elephant would be able to answer the call. Hence, the Phoenix master wasn’t too concerned.

The four major worlds present had their eyes set on Thunder World. The remaining seven of the Chaos Alliance targeted the monster spirits. Those could not be redeployed elsewhere. If they were, the remaining might not be able to stand against the five worlds of monster spirits.

Li Hao swiftly extracted world strength and infused Silver Moon’s dao universe with countless dao crystals. He didn’t absorb any himself because he’d reached 999 minor worlds. There was only one world left.

He was prepared to saturate a world of swords for his last world!

Indeed, Li Hao had been focusing on other words before this. The sword was just a medium in his thoughts. Sword dao did not have to be deployed through a sword in order to be called sword dao.

Dao crystals shattered at a furious pace and surged into the dao universe. Minor worlds were swiftly integrated in Silver Moon. The world had absorbed a great deal of dao strength ever since rising to fifth rank. It’d also taken in some of Skyward’s dao strength when it resided in Skyward’s dao universe.

Li Hao had invested at least ten billion dao crystals altogether, but Silver Moon was still not a sixth rank world. The main reason for this lack of improvement was the fact that Silver Moon had twin dao universes. While the benefits to that were great, so was the consumption of resources.

New Martial might be the only one with twin dao universes. Another likely candidate was Skyward.

The other was Silver Moon.

“Martial Uncle Hong, Gan Wuliang, do you guys think there you have a chance of setting foot into sixth rank?” Li Hao transmitted.

The two dao masters were furiously absorbing dao strength within the dao universe. Other Silver Moon exalted emperors were also holding down the fort in their branches of the river and taking in that dao strength. They were strengthening the entire dao universe as a whole.

Hong Yitang thought it over and transmitted back, “It’ll be... slightly... hard... There is no gap of dao comprehension between fifth and sixth rank, but... the two dao universes go through energy too quickly.

“We also have a lot of exalted emperors, so a prodigious sum of resources is required to support them...”

All of that together made it much more difficult for Silver Moon to ascend compared to other worlds. Any other world that’d swallowed so many dao crystals and worlds would’ve long made it to sixth rank.

“Then... can we kill another seventh rank and use their energy?”

“Well... of course... but...” The two dao masters responded solemnly. Was Li Hao prepared to kill the arriving draconic seventh rank? But they’d be in great trouble if they drew the attention of the Dragon master.

Li Hao ran through some of his own judgment before swiftly transmitting, “The reason why I haven’t left and ascended to sixth rank isn’t because I can’t, but that I don’t want to do so right now.

“That would expose my presence for other people to detect. I want to put on a show of appearing weaker than I am and see if I can kill that guy while I’m at it...

“As for the Dragon master,” Li Hao took a deep breath. “He should be in Skyward or Blazing Sun. He’ll have to pass through Skyward if he wants to return...”

He wasn’t certain of the status over there, but he knew one thing—the Dragon master would have to go through Skyward no matter if he was fighting Light or New Martial.

“I’d like to contact the dao chess and have it transport us out at a critical moment. If the Dragon master comes to us, then he’ll be leaving Skyward. Let’s see if we can make use of that opening to transport out...”

“Then... what about Void?” asked Hong Yitang. Their previous plans were to conquer a seventh rank world.

“I didn’t expect that Dragon would send one of their own back... The best outcome is that the Dragon master is already brawling with New Martial, so that he doesn’t have time to come back!”

If that was the case, then Li Hao wouldn’t run.

If the Dragon master came to them, then the young man would make like ships in the night. The dao chess had recovered a great deal of its strength after absorbing so many dao crystals and was at least seventh rank now!

Li Hao and Void had also accumulated quite a few transportation opportunities. To be honest, the dao chess didn’t care about those at all. If it wasn’t for Li Hao turning it down, it might’ve already left Skyward in the young man’s company.

It was just, they were so far away and so many. The dao chess would be greatly depleted after such an action. Li Hao had just repaid a lot of favors; it looked like he was going to owe a few again after this.

However, that was the last thing on the young man’s mind. He needed to give this a try!

Void likewise transmitted through the river of time, “Ignore me. If the Dragon master really descends upon us, we’ll run back to Skyward! Skyward’s dao universe has not yet revitalized, only Li Hao can access it. We’ll take shelter in it for a few days...”

Li Hao was the only one who could open up the inert dao universe. All of the other dao stars would likely still be silenced. That would grant them an extra measure of safety.

“Then it’s settled!” Li Hao agreed. “I’ll ascend to sixth rank when the Dragon sixth rank arrives. That’s when I’ll attack Feng Yan, which will trigger a chaos tribulation. When the seventh rank tribulation strikes us, the thunderbolts will enter my sword of a thousand daos. I’ll be able to kill that seventh rank with the fastest speed possible!”

These would be his final arrangements. He and Phoenix had signed a dao treaty stating that he could not attack Feng Yan or anyone else. Once he did, that would trigger a chaos tribulation.

That happened to be precisely what he wanted. He was cultivating the sword of destruction, so the chaos tribulation was a perfect addition.

Forcing the thunderbolt into his sword for use in attacking the seventh rank was part of his plans. Otherwise, he would not have permitted Feng Yan’s group to linger in the surroundings.

There’d been another point to the dao treaty—apart from Feng Yan and the two seventh ranks, any exalted emperor that attacked Li Hao would also trigger a chaos tribulation. Therefore, Li Hao was wholly unafraid no matter how many exalted emperors Phoenix sent out.
