Starting from a Magical Girl, Dominating Eternity
Chapter 456 - 149: The Purple Heavenly Emperor Returns!
"Then don’t worry about me!"
Susan’s usually stern face brightened with a hint of a smile, "But if you keep wallowing like this, it’ll be trouble. After all, you haven’t helped me regain my transformation powers, nor have you found An Shiyu."
Peony moved her arm away, her eyes red as she looked at her friend, "I can’t do either."
"That’s true if you keep spacing out here," Susan said softly, "But if you really feel guilty, then get up, help me find An Shiyu, and then think of a way to help me regain the powers of a Magical Girl."
The tide rhythmically crashed in, and seagulls called out above. Peony said sadly, "Can we really? With someone like me?"
"What nonsense are you talking about? We’re teammates," Susan reached out her hand to her, "What did you say to me before? We’re friends, so don’t shoulder everything alone. Was that just pretty words from an adult fooling a kid back then?"
"No, it wasn’t." Peony grasped her friend’s hand, "I just hate myself for being unable to help..."
"Don’t worry, I’m here." Susan pulled her friend up from the water, "Remember our slogan back then? Together we’re unstoppable."
"It was omnipotent."
While wiping her tears and correcting the friend’s rushed shout of their team slogan, Peony sniffed, "I’ve searched everywhere. Anyang City, and the seaside. I even rented a yacht, searched the nearby waters, even the seabed, and found nothing. I really don’t know what to do..."
Disappeared together with the Sect Leader.
Thinking of the disappearance of Jiang Si and Zi Yuan, Susan sighed.
Though comforting Peony, she too felt incredibly heavy-hearted. Since Jiang Si went missing, the aura emanating from Cyan Cloud Sect was truly stifling.
Even though the truth is only known to the True Inheritance and some Inner Sect members.
Still, Susan never thought the Sect Leader would actually run into trouble. If An Shiyu was with the Sect Leader, she should be safe too.
The remaining question is, where exactly did they go? And how long until they return?
"I heard some news before; they said the missing people are related to the Mirror World. There are Mirror Country artifacts in the Heart Image Remains. An Shiyu might have accidentally entered the Mirror World."
Peony was stunned to hear this, "Mirror World? How do we find it?"
"Let’s find a way to ask the Disaster Strategy Bureau..."
Suddenly, the ground shook beneath their feet.
Peony and Susan, standing up, almost fell as the giant tremor caused a tsunami, rushing towards the coast!
Peony quickly transformed, protecting Susan.
The tsunami instantly engulfed the nearby forest, knocking down trees. The original beach transformed into an ocean!
"What happened?"
"Look over there!"
Susan looked up, and the sky appeared to have tiny cracks!
Then it seemed as though something was hammering into something, causing a tremor, and the cracks suddenly spread—
Spatial quake!
Susan saw wisps of purple flames scattering.
Her heart pounded wildly!
Jiang Si!!
Just as she was about to notify Lord Dong Jun, another wave roared in.
A grey-white Magical Girl appeared before the cracked space, carrying an aura of death.
She reached out her hand, pressing down on the crumbling space.
The space that was still breaking was actually slowly being restored?
Susan was stunned, quickly realizing something, even though she had notified Lord Dong Jun.
But she didn’t know how long it would take for him to arrive. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
If she didn’t stop this grey-white Magical Girl, the Sect Leader might not be able to come through!
She had to stop her!
Susan glanced at Peony.
She couldn’t let her take the risk; Peony wasn’t good at combat.
Now, merely surviving the tsunami while holding her was quite difficult.
That grey-white Magical Girl’s power seemed unfathomable; restoring space was clearly not an easy skill...
The entire space trembled again, this time accompanied by a deep rumbling, like the drumbeat from somewhere far away, causing the newly repaired area to crack again, becoming even larger.
Yet, the grey-white Magical Girl seemed to exert more power, making the restoration visibly faster.
"No way, this tsunami can’t be stopped; if left unchecked, it will cause massive disasters over in Anyang, Susan, quickly notify the nearby Disaster Strategy Bureau!"
"It’s too late!"
Susan stared at the cracks in the sky fiercely. The scattered flames continually contended with the forces repairing the space: "I’m going up, Peony."
"Huh? What’s going on?" Peony, busy using Magic Power to block the tsunami, had no time to look at her friend in her arms, "What are you doing?"
"Peony."
She took a deep breath, "Can I trust you? Peony."
Peony said anxiously, "What trusting? What does that matter now? What’s going on!"
"Nothing, just that I owe you an apology."
Peony, finally unable to control more of the tsunami before being submerged, glanced down at her friend.
The girl pulled out a pendant from her chest.
"I’ve been hiding this from you all along, I’m sorry."
The blue Miracle Seed, like a drop of water, swayed and shimmered, emitting gentle yet radiant light.
"Susan, you..."
"I’m sorry for making you feel guilty for so long."
Susan suddenly clenched her Miracle Seed, delicate blue threads unfurled, the raging waves around her solidified overhead, and then spread apart.
