Chapter 119: The drunkard father of the twins

Jack turned towards the closed door where the commotion was happening. He sharpened his ears and started to listen without intervening in anything.

"Open the door, you unfilial things. This time I’m going to end the lives of you two ungrateful things."

The middle-aged drunkard outside gave a kick to the door, and seeing that the door was still not opened, he continued his scolding,

The neighbour who had just shouted, after hearing the explanation from the man, sighed.

"Whatever, don’t disturb the neighbours here."

When George saw that the man was about to close the door,

"Sir, can you give me the contact of the person who rented this house to these girls? I need to discuss something with him."

The neighbour gave him a doubtful look. George immediately explained,

"Sir, I’m going to take these girls home with me. Nothing else. But you watched yourself, no matter how I called, they didn’t wish to see me or speak with me."

Meanwhile, Jack watched the reaction of the twins. They didn’t mind him or about the lies they had said were fully exposed. Their concentration was fully focused on the person outside.

George gave a snort and entered inside the house with a smug smile on his face and looked around, he found something surprising.

At the table, with lots of food arranged like a feast, his other daughter sat opposite a young man who was giving him a rich young master vibe.

After seeing the rich-looking young man in front of him, George immediately changed his attitude towards the girls.

He gave a sleazy smile to his two daughters and said,

"It seems you have been living very well after leaving our home in the village."

Camila’s face dropped another degree colder after hearing what he said.

While speaking, she kept her hands on the shoulders of her sister and held them tightly to calm her down.

George looked at his two daughters.
