Chapter 863 - Unknown Worlds

"What's an unknown world?" Kyle asked.

"While Immortals, Lords, and Demigods can look into Tertiary and Secondary Worlds, they can't look into Primary Worlds without the explicit permission of the Primary World's Overseer. The Peak Organizations can only gain information about Primary Worlds by talking to Immortals who have been in said world or by getting the Overseer to give them entry. The second part is usually done by sending affiliated Seekers to the world and hoping that they become the Overseer."

"Unknown worlds are worlds where neither of these two options has worked before. They are worlds that have never produced an Immortal, and every Seeker who has been sent there has failed to become the Overseer."

"Because of that, nobody knows anything about these worlds. They could be normal worlds. They could be experimental worlds. They could be worlds that don't have enough Energy to produce an Immortal. They could be worlds that have an overabundance of Energy but require someone to become an Immortal after becoming a Legendary Ascendant to ascend."

"If we knew why these worlds didn't produce Immortals, they wouldn't be unknown worlds."

'That's crazy,' Kyle thought. 'Sounds like ascending from one of these worlds is pretty fucking hard. I mean, every Peak Organization has probably already tried several times to send people into these worlds.'

"Have there been unknown worlds that became known later?" Kyle asked.

The Lord nodded. "Naturally. For example, there was a world that had never produced an Immortal. Countless people were sent into it, but nobody managed to return. That was until the Grand Exchange sent their most talented Disciple into it."

"That Disciple managed to become the Overseer, and the mystery was lifted."

"Every Primary World also represents its subservient Secondary Worlds and their subservient Tertiary Worlds," the Lord explained. "This entire construct is called a World Cluster, and there are only three kinds of World Clusters. Human, experimental, and beast."

"All the World Clusters we have been talking about were human and experimental World Clusters. They are made for humanoid beings. However, there are also Beast World Clusters. Entering a Beast World Cluster is impossible as a human. The world itself rejects anything that it doesn't consider a beast. Because of that, it's impossible for a human to be sent to a Beast World by accident. "

"The unknown world had to be the Primary World of a regular Human World Cluster. While nobody had ascended from this world, several of its Secondary and Tertiary Worlds had been investigated. When the Disciple became the Overseer, the reason why nobody managed to ascend was lifted."

"It was a pseudo-beast World Cluster. The world was supposed to create humanoid Immortals. Beasts did not have permission to ascend from this world since they only existed to act as opponents for humans. Yet, the beasts had eradicated all humans in that world, including the original Overseer."

"When an Overseer dies, the world chooses the second-most powerful human as the Overseer. When that one dies, it chooses the next one. According to the Disciple, there had once been a powerful Divine Beast in the world, which had tried to become the Overseer. It killed one human after another until none were left. Eventually, it became the Overseer, but as a beast, it couldn't ascend."

"The beasts considered any Seeker who ascended from one of their Secondary Worlds as an enemy and hunted them down. That's why no one has ever managed to ascend from there. The only reason why the Disciple managed to become the Overseer was that he was very good at disguising himself as a beast."

'No wonder nobody ascended from there,' Kyle thought. 'Would suck if I ended up in such a world.'

"There was also a world in which clouds of lightning gathered above every Seeker when they advanced a Realm," the Lord continued. "They were called Heavenly Tribulations, and they were so powerful that no Seeker could survive the last Heavenly Tribulation when they were about to become an Immortal."

"This unknown world was uncovered by one of Inner World's Disciples. By building powerful Formation Arrays, the Disciple managed to survive the Heavenly Tribulation and ascended, lifting the mystery."

"There was another world that turned out to be an Experimental World. The only Laws a Seeker could access were Imposing Laws. This world was unveiled by a Disciple from the Array of Stars. In order to ascend, this Disciple needed to create an Imposing Law that was so powerful that it basically fulfilled every criterion."

"That Disciple was also the first Seeker who had managed to condense the perfect Imposing Law. The Imposing Law included his entire self. It acted as an Infused Center, Body, Mind, and Soul Law. It acted as an External Level Eight Complex Law. It even acted as a Pseudo-Avatar. "

The Lord looked at Kyle. "Half of these Disciples managed to reach the Singularity Realm and became Demigods. The Disciple from Inner World and the Disciple from the Array of Stars are still alive and hold important positions in their respective Organizations."

"Going to an unknown world is more dangerous than going to any other world, but almost everyone who managed to come back from one has reached incredible levels of power. I believe in your tenacity and talent. If you choose to go to an unknown world, I am willing to send you to that world for free. Naturally, that includes your friends."

"The only thing I would ask of you is to unveil the mystery of this world to the Cult. You would not need to destroy the world or hand it to us."

Kyle took a deep breath. 'Sounds risky, but it might also pay off.'

The next moment, he looked at Sebastian.

"Sounds exciting," Sebastian said with a grin. "I would be down."

Kyle looked back at the Lord. "Do you have a specific world in mind?"

The Lord nodded. "We can find out some things about the world by looking at its shell. For example, we can determine the density of Energy inside the world by looking at how much Energy it pulls in compared to how big it is. We also have some confidence in spotting Experimental Worlds." πŸπ•£π—²π•–π•¨π—²π›π—»π—Όπ―π—²πš•.π—°πš˜π¦

The image of several white spheres appeared beside the Lord. "Each of these represents one Primary World. I've also simulated the way Energy moves around these Primary Worlds. Can you find the world I'm talking about?"

Kyle furrowed his brows as he looked at the spheres.

He quickly noticed that most of them had some diagrams appearing and disappearing around them. 'They look like the Law Diagrams I can see whenever I use Death for my comprehension. Most of these spheres have Law Diagrams around them. I would assume that these are just normal worlds.'

"All of these are normal Human Worlds, right?" Kyle asked, his Energy enveloping several white spheres.

"Correct," the Lord said, moving the marked spheres to the side.

"That's a Beast World!" Sebastian shouted from the side, pointing at one sphere.

Kyle looked at the sphere. There were no Law Diagrams around that sphere, but there was an abundance of Elemental Energy around it.

"Correct," the Lord said, moving that one world to the side.

"You can see Law Diagrams?" Kyle asked.

"No idea what Law Diagrams are," Sebastian said. "I just noticed that this thing has way too much Elemental Energy, and since the human ones are already gone, it could only be a beast one."

"So, you guessed," Kyle said.

"Yep," Sebastian nodded with a smile.

Kyle snorted in amusement before he marked the other Beast Worlds.

Then, he marked a couple of Experimental Worlds. The way their Energy and Law Diagrams moved was simply too abnormal.

He got rid of a couple of worlds that absorbed almost no Energy.

Finally, he was left with only one sphere, and he looked at it with furrowed brows.

It was… unusual.
