Strongest Necromancer System
Chapter 770: I’m Going To Kill Him
After the events in Merivo’s Paradise, Jason had sent out hundreds of different Legion members through the shadows as spies, and he told them to bring him any sort of information that they could about how things currently were in the Primordial Expanse. Their information is what allowed Jason to know how the Primordial Expanse viewed him as some dangerous genocider, and it also allowed Jason to know that he had more supporters than critics from the people around this domain, since the Machina never had that many allies to begin with. But right now, Jason wanted to know about something else. Jason activated [Eye of the King], and he shifted his attention towards Earth and his family. It was already nighttime on Earth, and Jason knew that most of the family would be back home already. Jason first looked for his mother, and he saw her sleeping soundly in his former bedroom. Mira was hugging Jason’s pillow close to her chest, and Jason smiled sadly once he saw that. It was obvious his mother missed him, and Jason made up his mind to get back home as soon as possible.
Maya, Jason’s little sister, was also lying on his bed, and she was sleeping beside Mira with her hands and legs spread wide like some sort of dead animal. Jason chuckled in amusement once he saw that, and he finally turned towards his other sister, Janet. Surprisingly, Janet wasn’t at home. Instead, she was inside Jason’s guild building, working on something at a work desk. Jason hummed in surprise, and he wondered how long Janet had been working at his guild for. Someone came from the side to hand Janet a cup of coffee, and Jason immediately recognized him as Francis Luud, the young man who was the first person to join Jason’s Monarch guild during the Yellow Gate raid all those months ago. Francis took a seat beside Janet and smiled at her happily while drinking from his cup, and Jason saw Janet’s cheeks redden slightly as she left her work for a while to chat with Francis while drinking from her own coffee. Jason felt his eye twitch when he saw the smiles on their faces, and he immediately knew that those weren’t some innocent smiles! What the fuck did Francis think he was doing to his sister?
’I’m going to kill him once I get back.’
Back on Earth, Francis shivered as he felt a jolt of fear pass through his body, and Janet blinked in surprise as Francis suddenly started looking around for signs of danger!
Jason finally turned his attention towards Juliet, his personal secretary and the woman he left in charge of the Monarch guild in his absence, and Jason smiled when he saw her sleeping in her office with her head on her desk. Juliet had worked harder than anyone else to make sure the Monarch guild operated properly in Jason’s absence, and from the memories of the subordinates that Jason had left with his guild members, Jason could tell that they were making more than enough money to make them one of the largest organisations in the entire world at this point! Jason had been improving the subordinates using Upgrade Points all this time, and right now, most of the subordinates with his guild members were already in the Rook Rank I and II levels, which made them strong enough to be regarded as Yellow Gate Bosses. There wasn’t a single Gate that the guild went into right now that they couldn’t clear in less than a day, and the guild was getting more than enough guild contracts from the government to keep them busy for a long time!
Tug!
Jason looked down as someone tugged at his trousers, and he saw a little elven child looking up at him with tears in her eyes. The girl had a wound on her knee that was bleeding, and Jason smiled kindly as he reached out with his Qi and stimulated the wound to close. The child’s eyes widened in shock when that happened, and she laughed as Jason rubbed her head affectionately!
"Thank you!"
The child waved and ran back to continue playing, and Jason chuckled as he turned back to what he had been doing. Jason was glad that things on Earth were going so well. Both his guild and the secret organization, Gaia, led by Cersei, were faring well. And when Jason looked through some of the files in Gaia, he saw that they had already begun to compile information about him based on what they learned from the interworld travellers that came to Earth. Jason wouldn’t be surprised if Gaia and Cersei already knew about the fact that he had massacred the Machina, as well as all the other adventures that he had gone on. The rumors about him had already spread to all the corners of the Primordial Expanse by now, so there was no way they wouldn’t have heard it too!
"Lord Jason, would you like to come flying with me? I know a beautiful alcove where we can watch the stars."
Jason turned to a woman who had approached him from behind. The woman was undeniably one of the most beautiful women here. She was wearing a long silk gown with off-shoulder straps, and her hair was a pure white that glowed in the moonlight, but Jason wasn’t interested in any midnight escape with some random woman, and he simply smiled and refused before turning to leave. The woman looked slightly disappointed, but that didn’t matter to Jason.
"Lord Jason, would you please –"
"I already said I wasn’t interested."
Jason suddenly turned around while speaking in a harsh tone, and he blinked in surprise when he realised that this was another person. The silver-haired woman had already walked away with a disappointed look on her face, and instead, it was Leona, the princess of Arandelle, who was standing in front of Jason. Jason smiled, and he apologised for lashing out at her, and Leona shook her head with an understanding look on her face! As one of the young, unmarried women of Arandelle, Leona was part of many social circles, and she had heard many of the women in those circles talking about how much they wanted to become one of Jason’s wives. Leona was also a woman, and she would be lying if she said she wasn’t also interested. But Leona still didn’t like the fact that so many women were bombarding Jason with their interest all at the same time. But that wasn’t what Leona was here for. Leona stepped forward slightly, and she spoke in an even voice.
"Lord Jason, would you please come with me to the castle? My father wanted me to fetch you since there is someone he wants you to meet."
Jason hummed, and he realised that Farlow had actually left the party a long time ago. That fucking traitor. So he left Jason to the wild women here and just vanished? Jason let out a small sigh, and he looked towards the area where Gina was being bombarded with questions by various married women who were part of Queen Camilla’s inner circle. The women were asking Gina about her pregnancy as well as the wedding that she would be having soon, and even though Gina was smiling and answering the questions evenly, Jason could tell that Gina wanted to get away from there as quickly as possible.
’Babe, I’m going inside. Do you want to come along?’
Jason reached out to Gina through their mental link, and the look of relief that appeared on Gina’s face as she turned to him almost made him burst out in laughter! Gina gave the older woman a bow and thanked them for keeping her company, and she quickly walked over to where Jason was standing with Leona. Jason put his hand out to Gina, and Gina immediately crashed into Jason’s chest with an exhausted sigh!
’They wanted to talk my ears off, babe! I couldn’t even get a word in!’
Jason chuckled as he gently rubbed Gina’s hair before leaning down to kiss the top of her head. Jason turned to Leona to tell her to take them in, but he noticed Leona staring at Gina with a look of slight jealousy. Jason called Leona’s name, and Leona snapped out of her trance as she quickly blushed and smiled at Jason!
"Y-Yes, my lord!?"
"Take us inside to meet your father."
"Uhm, yes, of course!"
Leona quickly began walking inside, and Gina wrapped her hands around Jason’s own with a smile on her face as they followed behind Leona.
