Riyala came around, and she sat with her other sister-wives so that all three of them were at Mira’s feet. Mira looked over the three beautiful women, and she felt her walls breaking down rapidly! What mother could possibly refuse such a lovely promise from such beautiful girls! These three girls were here promising to love her son till the day they died, and Mira knew that she had lost this battle before it even started. Mira smiled at the girls, and she caressed their cheeks softly before letting out another small sigh with a smile. Mira looked up at Jason, and Jason nodded to his mother to tell her that he had also decided that this was what he wanted. And that was what truly settled it.

"Very well then. So long as you all have sworn to love and protect my son, then there is nothing I can say against this union. I bless you all, and I pray you find the happiness you seek in each other. Now come, please stand up. I’m sure you are all famished from your journeys. I prepared more than enough food for everyone, so don’t hold back at all."

Mira stretched her hand out and helped her daughters-in-law to get up as she also stood, and all three women smiled happily as they finally got Mira’s blessing! Mira caressed their cheeks one more time since she was in awe of how beautiful the three of them were, and she looked towards Jason with narrowed eyes.

"Now listen here, mister. The only reason I’ve accepted this is because these beautiful women promised to stand by you no matter what, so you make sure you take care of these girls, you hear? If they come to me with any complaint, I’ll come over there and give you a piece of my mind with my slipper!"

Jason blinked in shock at the insane threat, and Jason was surprised when he actually felt a bit of nervousness in his heart! Jason couldn’t help but chuckle! Jason had literally faced off against world-ending monsters without feeling any fear at all, but he somehow felt nervous just from the thought of his mother’s slippers!

"Sure thing, mum. I’ll take care of them all. I promise."

Jason said this with absolute conviction, and Mira smiled when she saw the girls blushing slightly at Jason’s declaration! These girls were truly head over heels for her son!

’I can’t even be angry at him! If he brings me daughters-in-law that are this gorgeous, then how can I refuse to accept them!?’

"Ah, yes, before I forget. Mother, I brought you a few gifts as a way to appreciate you for taking me into the family. Radanon, tell the servants to bring them in."

Mira was surprised when Hesabeth suddenly spoke up before waving her fan at the soldier at the side. The soldier who had been holding the whisper stone quickly bowed as he headed out from the restaurant, and Mira wondered what in the world Hesbeth had prepared. Even Jason, Gina, and Riyala looked surprised since Hesabeth didn’t tell them that she would be preparing anything, but Jason knew that Hesabeth was filthy rich, so it wasn’t that surprising that she would buy something for his mother. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

The soldier spoke to the guards outside, and Jason turned to see two soldiers bringing a large chest out from one of the carriages parked outside. The soldiers brought the chest into the restaurant, and they placed it at Mira’s feet before opening it. Mira’s eyes widened in shock, and she took multiple steps back when she saw what was inside! It was jewels!

Gold coins! Gold necklaces! Sapphire earrings! Emerald bracelets! The entire chest was filled to the brim with precious gems that had been crafted into jewelry! What in the world was this!? Mira suddenly felt very faint once again, and she turned to Hesabeth as Hesabeth spoke with a smile.

"As a symbol of appreciation for you bringing such a wonderful man into this world. I hope you won’t refuse my gifts."

"I- I don’t think I can accept this, Hesabeth. This is too much. I... I don’t even wear that much jewelry. And the cost... my god, it must’ve cost a fortune."

Hesbeth just laughed in amusement, and she waved Mira’s concern away while saying.

"No, please, these gifts barely make a dent in my treasury. I can assure you that I am more than capable of doing this much for my family. The jewelry are all of the highest quality, so if you do not fancy them, then you may do whatever you wish with them. Now, where in the world are the others?"

"Others!?"

This time, it was Janet who had shouted from the side! Janet had nearly fainted when she saw all the gems inside the chest that Hesabeth had given Mira! Just that chest alone would be worth billions! But now Hesabeth was saying that there were more! Hesabeth smiled at the shocked looks on the faces of everyone around her, and she simply motioned for the other chests to be brought in! The soldiers began to bring them in, and Mira just watched as multiple chests were put at her feet and opened to reveal even more jewels and gems! Mira could already feel her heart racing when the chests reached ten in number, and by the time the soldiers were finished, she counted a total of twenty-five chests! The chests were filled with precious items of different sorts! Gems, jewels, fabrics, precious metals, and there was even a certain chest filled with nothing but perfectly cut diamonds!

Mira turned to her son with a pale face!

"J-Jason. What do you expect me to do with all this?"

Jason chuckled, and he walked over and held his mother around the shoulder to support her. Jason kissed his mother on the side of her head, and he told her that he could help her with whatever she wanted to use them for.

"It’s a gift from my partner, so please accept it. I know you think it’s too much, but Hesabeth is a Queen, and something like this is normal for her. She’ll feel bad if you turn it down."

Jason said this with a smile, and Mira looked over at Hesabeth. Hesabeth was looking at Mira with an expectant smile on her face, and it was obvious that Hesabeth was waiting for Mira to thank her for the gifts. Mira realised that Jason was right! Refusing the gifts would really hurt Hesabeth! So Mira let out a breath to calm herself, and she finally smiled and stretched her hand out towards Hesabeth. Hesabeth’s face lit up, and she quickly walked forward to accept the embrace from her mother-in-law! Mira spoke to Hesabeth in a low, loving voice.

"Thank you so much, my daughter. I really appreciate the gifts you’ve given me."

Hesabeth’s face beamed with pride once she heard this, and Mira couldn’t help the smile that spread on her own face in return! Mira knew that there was no way she could use all of this! There was far too much here, and Mira was too simple of a woman to wear most of this jewelry! But Hesabeth had been thinking about Mira when she packed all of this, and Mira knew that Hesabeth was trying her best to impress her, so Mira decided that she would accept the gifts. Maybe there was a way to set up some charities or orphanages that they could sponsor using the money from some of the gifts. Rather than letting them go to waste in her closet, Mira would rather use them to help others.
