"Just put it back there. We have enough space."

"With me?"

"You can sit there, while you try and hack."

"Let me go in first."

Someone stumbled onto Stanley, bringing him out of his daze. "Oh, sorry," Sol’s voice became clear to him now. "Didn’t see you there."

Fred laughed a little to Stanley’s right.

"John! Stop standing around. We don’t have all day."

Stanley looked around at the four people around him and at the van, they were loading bags into.

He stepped back in surprise, quickly looking around at where he was.

It was the Low.

"What?" he cried out loud, unable to stop himself from speaking. "What the hell is going on?"

"John?"

"Dude! What’s wrong?"

Stanley looked around, unable to make sense of the situation. "What the f..." He grabbed his head full of hair, unable to make sense of the situation. Was that another dream?

No, calling it a dream wasn’t correct. He wasn’t sleeping or anything. He was in the middle of work, a bag still in his hand that needed to be put into the van.

He remembered what he was doing so clearly, the thought still clear in his mind, and yet the information that shouldn’t have been there was just as equally clear as well.

"Can you move out of the way, John?" Sol spoke. "I need to get into the van."

Stanley moved aside without any thought, letting Sol get into the van. He watched him walk in confused a little at seeing him walk around so freely, before realizing that he was supposed to be free.

No one knew what was going to happen in the future yet.

He quickly checked his watch and found that it was only half past 8 in the morning. "We’re leaving for East Vanli right now, right?" he asked.

"Obviously," Vera said, walking into the van on the back.

Stanley took a moment to process everything and realized what had happened. "Nova, I need to talk to you," he said.

"What?" Nova said as she got into the car.

"No, it’s a private talk," Stanley said.

Nova paused and got outside. "About?"

10 minutes later, Nova and Stanley came back to the three who were already in the car. As soon as they arrived, Nova captured Sol with her metal threads and took his watch.

After looking for exactly what Stanley had told her, she found the name of the girl he had been messaging to and the cryptic messages that he was sending.

"You have been spying on me for my brother?" she asked Sol, who seemed surprised to have been figured out.

"Boss, no that’s not—"

"Shut up!" Nova shouted. "Get out! Right now!"

Sol remained in the car.

"John, drag him out," Nova said.

"It might be better to take him," Stanley said. "We can’t give him the opportunity to let your brother know what we’re planning. Someone has to keep an eye on him."

Nova thought for a moment and nodded. "Fine. Let’s leave."

2 hours later, the group arrived at their hotel room in East Vanli. Even as he was questioned about various things throughout the ride, Stanley tried to understand what it was that happened to him.

"Are you sure we should be doing this your way?" Nova asked.

"Yes," Stanley said. "There is no better way if you ask me. Also, I want to avoid whatever it is that happens there at 1 p.m. I really do believe he is planning to kill everyone in that plaza."

"But why?" Nova asked. "That makes no sense."

"I’m not going to sit here and tell you I have any idea what is going on," Stanley said. "All I know is that something bad will happen to those people."

"Alright," Nova said. "Then we’ll kill our brother and get out in time."

Stanley nodded and paused. Could he just let those people die? Did he have it in him to watch hundreds if not thousands of people die? Even if he knew that they were bad people. Were they all deserving of death?

"We will have to save them too," Stanley said. "At least, let them know that they will die if they stay there."

Nova thought for a moment and nodded. "We’ll have to be quick about it though," she said. "My brother’s people will be with him this time around right?"

"Yes," Stanley said. "I will have to do it while he’s unaware. You guys will have to trick him into letting down his guard again."

Fred looked up from his guns. "Again? What do you mean?"

"Sorry, ignore that. You’ll have to trick him into letting your guard down," Stanley said and looked back to Nova. "Just distract him and I’ll swoop in."

Nova nodded. With that, they were ready.

At 12:30, the group prepared to leave. And by 12:40, they were in the plaza. They easily got into the plaza, making Stanely feel so very weird about the whole situation.

He not only remembered the events from the future, but he remembered the events from the future he saw in his future. How the hell did that work exactly? Something about all this didn’t feel right to him at all.

Still, he had to work.

He left Nova and Fred to go in early to get caught. With the Lightning Nova’s subordinates there, it wouldn’t have been wise to send them directly to the kitchen. Then, after 5 more minutes Stanley went in.

Time slowed down and he rushed to the kitchen. There, he could see Nova and Fred inside metal wires that meshed together to become a net around them.

Garren was standing in front of them with a smile on his face, while the rest of his group stood on the sidelines. That gave way for Stanley to swoop in without any problems.

He arrived next to the unaware Garren once again and cut him right through the neck once again.

Garren’s body fell to the ground, his head rolling further away.

Once again, the Lightning Nova had died.
