Chapter 175: Oh Mylady!

NO ONES POV

Enzo stood in front of the massive mirror in his dressing room, carefully adjusting the collar of his suit. He smoothed down the fabric, turning from side to side to admire his reflection. A smug smile played on his lips. Today was the day everything would change. Today, he would finally leave this annoying world behind and start a perfect life with his Vivien.

Suddenly, the loud ring of his phone shattered the quiet room.

Enzo frowned in annoyance, irritated that someone was interrupting his perfect moment.

He walked over to picked up the vibrating device, and swiped the screen to accept the call.

He didn’t bother with a polite greeting.

"Speak," he commanded, his voice cold

On the other end of the line, his head investigator was breathing heavily, sounding completely out of breath and deeply panicked.

"B-Boss... we found the mole. We finally tracked down the traitor who helped Mr. Valente and gave him the secret information to discover our countryside location."

Enzo’s eyes narrowed, his grip tightening around the phone until his knuckles turned white. His breathing hitched. "Who is it?" he demanded. "Tell me the name right now."

The investigator swallowed hard over the line, his voice shaking with fear. "It’s... it’s the nameless girl you bought from the other world, sir! She completely betrayed you! Our men dug deeper into her recent movements, and it turns out she hasn’t just been playing the role of your loyal puppet. In fact, she has been secretly running a massive underground gang behind our backs this entire time! She used your resources to build her own power."

Enzo’s face instantly drained of all color, and his eyes became incredibly gloomy, filled with a sudden, overwhelming psychotic rage. The betrayal cut deep. The very weapon he had pulled from another dimension, the girl he thought he entirely controlled through fear and magic, had been playing him for a fool all along.

He didn’t say another word to the investigator. He slammed the phone down onto the counter, the glass screen shattering into tiny pieces under his fist.

"Arrghhh!" Enzo screamed, his face twisting into a mask of pure fury. He kicked a heavy chair over.

He marched out into the hallway, his chest heaving as he shouted at the top of his lungs, his voice echoing off the high ceilings of the villa. "Guards! Men! Where is she?! Where is that wretched girl?!"

Several heavily armed guards came rushing up the stairs, trembling as they faced their unhinged master.

"Bring her to me right now!!!" Enzo roared as he pointed toward the upper floors. "Find that traitorous bitch and drag her down to the main hall by her hair! Do not let her get away!"

Soon enough, the footsteps of the guards came rushing back up the stairs, but they weren’t dragging anyone. Their faces were completely pale, and they were trembling from head to toe in pure terror.

"B-Boss!" the lead guard stammered, dropping to his knees. "Both the girl and Miss Vivien are completely missing! The bedroom is totally empty!"

Enzo’s face twisted into an expression so ugly and deformed by rage that he barely looked human anymore. The perfect future he had spent months planning was crumbling right before his eyes.

With a wild scream, he ripped his silk tie off his neck and stormed out of the room like a madman.

Meanwhile, a few levels below, Vivien was running through a narrow dark servant’s tunnel. She looked up at the tall girl who was currently leading her out of the villa, her grip on Vivien’s wrist firm but surprisingly gentle.

Suddenly, a loud explosion of shouting and alarms echoed through the stone walls from the main house. The distant sound of slamming doors and angry voices filled the air. They knew instantly that Enzo’s men had found out already.

The girl stopped in her tracks. She turned around and looked down at Vivien through the shadows of the tunnel. For the first time, her voice didn’t sound cold anymore. It was filled with a deep determination.

"Don’t worry, My Lady," the girl said softly, using the exact title Vivien had teased her with earlier. "I will take you out of here safely. I promise."

Hearing that familiar title, Vivien’s eyes filled with tears of pure joy, and she genuinely smiled. "I knew it was you, Lily," she whispered.

With their hearts beating as one, the two of them turned and ran together toward the light at the end of the tunnel, racing for their freedom.

They finally burst out of the cramped servant’s tunnel, the cool air hitting their faces as they reached the edge of the estate grounds.

Sneaking past by the guards, Lily quickly guided Vivien toward a hidden black car parked on a dirt path. They hopped into the vehicle without wasting a single second. Lily slammed her foot on the gas pedal, and the engine started, the tires kicking up dust as they started driving off leaving the terrifying villa far behind.

As the car accelerated down the deserted main road, Lily quickly reached into her jacket, pulled out her burner phone, and typed a rapid message with one hand. Once the text was successfully sent, she rolled down the driver’s side window and threw the phone out onto the road, watching it smash to pieces in the rearview mirror to erase any possible tracking signal.

Vivien turned in her passenger seat, happily looking at her with wide eyes. She couldn’t contain her excitement any longer. "So... you actually remembered everything, didn’t you?" she asked, her voice filled with emotion.

Lily kept her eyes glued to the road ahead, her hands gripping the steering wheel tightly. "Not everything," she admitted quietly, her robotic tone finally gone, replaced by a softer voice.

"But some of it... yeah. I remembered my duty to you." She focused harder on driving, a deep flush of color rising to her cheeks. She stopped talking, feeling incredibly ashamed to say anything more after realizing how coldly she had treated her true lady over the past few days under Enzo’s orders.

Vivien instantly understood her deep discomfort. She smiled warmly and gently placed a hand on Lily’s shoulder to comfort her.

"It’s fine, Lily. Don’t worry about it. I will generously forgive all the recent disrespect. What matters is that you’re back."

Hearing those words, Lily finally relaxed her tense shoulders, a small weight lifting from her chest. But their moment of peace didn’t last long.

Suddenly, a pair of bright headlights flashed in the rearview mirror, rapidly gaining on them.

Within seconds, two more vehicles pulled up right behind the first one, their engines roaring dangerously.

"Dang it," Lily muttered under her breath, her eyes narrowing in anger as she checked the mirrors. "He’s much faster than I thought. His grunts are everywhere."

Vivien turned back in her seat to look through the rear glass window, watching the hostile cars closing the gap. The fearful girl was gone; the strategic mind of Viella was taking over. "Give me your gun," Vivien said firmly, holding out her hand without a shred of hesitation.

Lily reached under her jacket, pulled out a black pistol, and gave it to her. Vivien rolled her window down, leaned out slightly despite the harsh wind, and aimed carefully.

Bang! Bang!

She started firing directly on the tires of the leading vehicle. With a loud pop, the front tire of the first car blew out, causing the vehicle to spin wildly out of control and crash into a ditch.

Vivien didn’t stop, successfully knocking a few cars out of the chase with precise shots. But despite her amazing accuracy, still more black vehicles followed them, emerging from the side roads, and with a sudden, empty click, Vivien realized her gun was completely out of ammo.

Lily glanced at the empty weapon in Vivien’s hand and said, "Don’t worry, My Lady. I already sent our exact live location to Mr. Dominic before I destroyed my phone. He is highly capable, and he will soon come for you. Just hold on tight." Vivien nodded quickly, tossing the useless gun onto the floor mat and bracing herself against the dashboard.

They pushed the car to its absolute limits, speeding down the winding, empty roads. But just as they drove far enough to see the highway lights in the distance, a sleek black sports car suddenly tore out from a side street and skidded sideways, completely blocking their track.

Lily forcefully stomped on the brakes. The tires shrieked, and the violent deceleration made both of them jolt forward against their seatbelts, their hearts leaping into their throats.

Lily huffed in pure frustration, her breathing off. Realizing they were completely cornered, she reached down, took out her sharp knife, and checked the blade. She turned to Vivien, her eyes dead serious. "Stay inside the vehicle, no matter what happens," she told her firmly. Without waiting for a response, she kicked the driver’s door open and got out of the car slamming it shut behind her.

From the vehicle blocking the road, Enzo stepped out into the headlights. He looked absolutely furious, his hair messy, his clothes disheveled, and his eyes wild with a psychotic, murderous rage.

"You really think you can betray me and run away just like that?" Enzo sneered, his voice dripping with venom as he walked toward Lily.

"I created a place for you here. I gave you a purpose."

"Oh, hell I do, and you’re going to see me doing it right now too," Lily said, her voice completely steady as she raised her knife into a combat stance.

Enzo chuckled darkly, a disturbing sound. "It seems like you’re completely forgetting who your master is, girl. I am the one who holds your leash in this world."

Lily’s lips curled into a cold smile. "More like I finally remember who my real master is... Mr. Elias Noir."

At the sudden mention of that specific name, Enzo’s entire face became incredibly gloomy. The arrogant smirk vanished, replaced by a shock. He hadn’t expected her to break through his memory block, let alone remember the dark authority of Elias Noir from her past life.

But before Lily could capitalize on his hesitation, a muffled groan came from the passenger side of her own car. Lily quickly turned her head to see what was happening.

While Enzo had been distracting her, two of his hidden grunts had crept up to the car attacking Vivien through the open window.

However, Vivien wasn’t helpless. She had already managed to punch the first guy squarely in the jaw, knocking him backward onto the dirt road. But the second attacker was already moving in, his heavy metal pipe raised high, about to hit her directly on the head from behind.

"My Lady!" Lily screamed in pure panic.

She turned her back on Enzo, abandoning her defensive stance to run and save Vivien. But that split-second distraction was a fatal mistake.

Before she could take even two steps forward, she felt a sudden intense pain on the back of her head as Enzo struck her with a hidden weapon.

Almost simultaneously, a sickening squelch echoed in the quiet air. Lily gasped, her breath catching in her throat as her legs gave out. She looked down in slow motion to see a silver blade completely through her stomach. Enzo had stabbed her from behind without a shred of mercy.

Because of the heavy hit on her head and the massive blood loss from her torso, Lily’s mind instantly went blurry.

The sounds of the battlefield faded into a distant, muffled echo. The world tilted, and her vision rapidly dissolved into pitch-black shadows.

Her knees hit the ground, and everything became dark.

I’ll save you my lady....She muttered before fainting.
