Stuck in a Mafia Romance
Chapter 90: Begining Of Elia’s Destruction
No One’s Pov
"I don’t understand," Alina murmured, her voice thick with confusion and the haze of sleep.
"It’s okay. You’ll understand soon enough,"
Dante replied, his voice smooth and empty. He reached for a small pill sitting on the nightstand and held it out to her.
"First, take your medicine. It will help with the pain."
Alina didn’t hesitate. She looked at him with complete trust, taking the pill and swallowing it down. She had no idea what she had just put into her system, but she smiled, feeling cared for.
Dante’s eyes remained ice cold, watching the movement of her throat as she swallowed. His fingers twitched.
"I’ll have the maids come in to help you freshen up," he said, moving to stand.
Before he could pull away, Alina reached out and caught the fabric of his shirt. She looked up at him piteously, her eyes wide and pleading, silently begging him to stay and help her himself.
Inside, Dante felt a surge of hot rage. Every touch from her felt like a dirty stain. He suppressed the urge to recoil and forced a stiff smile.
"I have matters to attend to, Alina. Important business that can’t wait. I have to go."
Alina felt a flash of irritation, she wanted his undivided attention but she quickly masked it with an innocent nod.
Her gaze flickered toward the spot under the blankets where her phone was hidden. She needed him to leave so she could see what Elias had sent.
On Dante’s signal, two maids entered the room. They didn’t wait for her to move, they efficiently began to help her up.
"Wait- my phone- " Alina reached back, trying to grab the device before she was moved, but the maids were firm. They steered her toward the bathroom, their grip tight as they led her away to get her ready for the surprise Dante had mentioned.
While Dante stood alone in the room, the silence settling around him. He turned his head slowly, his eyes locking onto the corner of the phone peeking out from the sheets.
Instead of picking up the device, Dante simply turned his head and walked away, his footsteps echoing coldly on the hardwood floor.
He had no need to look at the screen, he already knew the chaos that was about to unfold.
The moment he stepped into his private study, his lead investigator hurried in, his face pale and sweating.
"Boss, something huge just happened! The news is going wild. Please, you need to look at this!"
Dante frowned, leaning over the desk as the man pulled up a series of encrypted files and news headlines that had surfaced just as the sun began to rise.
BREAKING NEWS: THE FALL OF THE TITANS?
A massive data dump has been released to every major news outlet and federal agency. The files contain a decade’s worth of illegal offshore dealerships, money laundering schemes, and "black money" trails.
Two names are written in blood across every document: Dante Valerio Moretti and Elias Noir.
While the files on Dante show complex, high level business maneuvers that might take years to prove in court, the files on Elias Noir are devastating. They include leaked CCTV footage of Elias in fits of psychotic violence, brutally attacking subordinates and discussing high profile assassinations.
Public Reaction:
"The Noir Empire is crumbling in real-time!"
"Look at Elias... he’s a monster. How was this hidden for so long?"
"Dante is involved too, but Elias looks like the true devil here."
Dante stared at the screen, his expression unreadable. While the news would shake his stocks, he had enough fall-back plans and enough power to erase everything under 48 hours.
But the main question is who have the guts to mess with Dante Velerio?
Was it Elias? But Elias himself was being fed to the wolves. This wasn’t just a simple leak, it was an execution of a reputation.
"Who exactly did this?" Dante’s voice was like ice. "Elias wouldn’t sabotage himself like this. He loses everything."
He closed his eyes, leaning back in his chair.
_____________
Elias’s peaceful sleep was interrupted by a frantic pounding on his door. He sat up, his face held a murderous rage, his voice low dangerous growl as he shouted at the man who dared to disturb his rest.
"I apologize, Boss, but you have to see the news! Now!"
Elias threw on his silk robe, his movements impatient. He stormed down the stairs to the main hall, where his men stood in a perfect line.
The massive television screen was already playing the morning’s headlines. He stood perfectly still, his eyes tracking the leaked CCTV footage of his own violence and the scrolling lists of his black market dealerships.
The silence in the room was suffocating until Elias suddenly grabbed a heavy marble vase from the stand. With a primal roar, he hurled it at the screen. The glass shattered into thousand pieces, the electronics sparking and dying in an instant.
"WHO IS THIS?! WHO DARED TO BETRAY ME?! WHOOOO?!" He roared, his chest heaving as he turned his predatory gaze on his men.
They shivered, looking at the floor, too terrified to even breathe.
"I want everyone- Everyone in my office in ten minutes!"
He didn’t even bother to change. Still wearing his expensive robe over his sleepwear, he bolted out of the mansion and into his car.
By the time he reached the Noir Empire headquarters, the building was already surrounded by tons of reporters and flashing cameras.
The press swarmed, shouting questions about the "Blood Records" and his imminent downfall.
"Mr. Noir, is the footage real?!?
"How much black money was laundered through the port?!"
Elias ignored them, his security team struggling to hold back the tide as he pushed through the revolving doors. His head was spinning with chaotic mixture of disbelief and pure hatred.
This wasn’t just simple attack. This was a professional assassination of his entire life’s work!
As the elevator doors closed, Elias was left alone with his reflection. He stared at the man in the mirror- his hair messy, his silk robe hanging off his shoulders, and his eyes... they were wild and panicked. He was looking like some wild animal.
A realization hit him. That same chilling madness he saw in his own eyes was the exact same look he had seen in Viella’s eyes last night.
His fists turned white as he curled them so tight his nails dug into his palms.
"She’s playing with me..." he whispered, his voice trembling with a mix of fury and disbelief.
BANG! He slammed his fist against the elevator wall, the metal denting under his strength. He underestimated her once again! He thought she was just a scared girl trying to survive, but she was a predator waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
The elevator reached the top floor with a ding.
Elias marched out, ignoring the gasps of his employees who had never seen their boss in such a state. He stormed into his office and saw his assistant trembling.
"B-Boss... the board of directors is calling. They want an explanation for the CCTV footage," she stuttered.
"TELL THEM TO WAIT!" Elias roared, sweeping everything off his desk in one violent motion. Papers, pens, and glass flew everywhere.
He slumped into his chair, breathing heavily. He realized now that the dagger he stole was likely a distraction, a toy to keep him busy while she leaked his life’s work to the world.
He grabbed his phone, his fingers shaking as he pulled up the news again. The comments were calling for his arrest. His stocks were plummeting into the abyss.
"You think you won, Viella?" he hissed, a twisted smirk appearing on his face. "You think you can just ruin me and walk away?"
He reached into his desk drawer and pulled out a burner phone. He dialed a number he hadn’t used in years.
"I don’t care about the cost," Elias said into the phone, his voice dropping to a deathly low tone.
"Find out where Lucian is keeping her. I want her brought to me. And if she resists... break her legs."
He threw the phone against the wall, watching it shatter. He didn’t care about the money or the dealership anymore. He only cared about one thing. Seeing the light fade from Viella’s eyes as he regained control.
But deep down, a small part of him was terrified. Because for the first time in his life, Elias Noir wasn’t the scariest person in the room. Viella was.

Viella stood in the center of her darkened room, the blue light from the television flickering across her face.
The news reporter was speaking rapidly, but she wasn’t listening to the words, she was focused on the images.
Seeing Elias Noir, the man who thought he owned the world, charging into his office in a bathrobe with a look of pure dread was the most satisfying thing she had seen in months.
The same man she had whispered to in the hallway entered silently and bowed low. "My lady, the work is complete. Every file, every video, and every bank record has been distributed to the major networks. Just as you ordered."
A dark smirk pulled at Viella’s lips. "Good job. Here is your reward."
She handed him a thick envelope of cash. The man took it respectfully, his head still bowed, and vanished back into the shadows.
Viella turned back to the screen, her eyes glinting. She had been waiting for this moment since she first realized what kind of monsters she was dealing with. Elias thought he was the hunter, but he hadn’t realized the ’prey’ had teeth.
Finally, she turned off the TV, the room falling into a peaceful silence. She walked over to her bed and lay down, a sense of calm washing over her.
For the first time, she wasn’t afraid of the morning. It was going to be a very peaceful sleep.
Meanwhile, in another room of the estate, Lucian’s phone buzzed aggressively on his nightstand.
He groaned, rubbing his eyes as he squinted at the bright screen. It was a high priority alert from his private bank.
[ALERT: Transaction Authorized. Amount: $2,500,000.00]
A huge sum of money had just been drained from his primary account. Lucian jolted upright, his heart racing as he immediately dialed the bank’s emergency line.
"Who authorized this transfer?" he demanded, his voice gravelly with sleep.
"Sir, the transaction was authorized using the secondary biometric key," the agent replied.
"Your sister, Calestine Viella, just cleared the funds."
Lucian paused, the tension leaving his shoulders all at once. He leaned back against his pillows and let out a long sigh, a small, tired smile tugging at his mouth.
"Oh... it was just her."
He didn’t even ask what it was for. If his baby sister needed a few million to play her games, he wasn’t going to stop her.
He tossed the phone back onto the nightstand, rolled over, and went right back to sleep, completely unbothered by the fact that his sister had just funded a revolution.
