Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts
Chapter 1682: Heading to Myrall
Fortunately, the Beggar Sect’s information was accurate. There wasn’t much time for the dynasty and the empire to rebuild. It wasn’t like their new towns would be relevant, considering they made it to the front lines to strengthen their defense line.
And even if they started constructing the towns deep in their territory, the construction would take some time.
There wasn’t enough time between the construction of the teleportation circles on this continent and Nathan’s visit to construct even a city. So Nathan didn’t need the new map.
He immediately scanned the entire continent, but as he expected, the city in his dream didn’t exist.
He just wasted his time again on this continent. It looked like he had no choice but to go to the other two continents, although he doubted that the one with the supervolcano still managed to stand after all this.
Evelyn showed the world map she managed to get from the two countries. "We’re here at Erendtall. This is Gratzel.
"We already know that the continent right below Erendtall is Myrall. It’s on the equator, so they say this continent only has two seasons, but I guess it doesn’t matter right now.
"This continent is quite big, so we have to travel quite far. I wonder if you plan to fly around or directly use the teleportation ability to skip this continent?" Evelyn asked.
Nathan thought for a moment before asking, "What do you think?"
Vivian raised her hand. "I think it will be good to fly manually. Even if we do this manually, our flying speed is already extremely high thanks to our current level. At most, we will waste one or two days, assuming that there aren’t many aliens left on this continent."
"Why do you want to fly?" Nathan continued.
Vivian took a deep breath. "There are three reasons. Although it may not be the time for this, if we can find any plants here, we may be able to bring them back and cultivate them. They can be new beneficial plants.
"We may not be able to cultivate it because our climates are different, but your domain is different. Not only the time, but we can also manipulate the climate to a certain extent.
"These plants might be useful, especially for future evolution. They can even be catalysts to evolve everyone."
Nathan nodded in understanding. He could accept this kind of reasoning. It was indeed as he said. Being too hasty might cause them to miss an opportunity.
"The second reason is to confirm the situation on the continent. The supervolcano must have caused massive destruction. And by going around, we can find a lot of other information.
"It may not look important at first, but all this information can supplement our own. It may become something important. We’ll never know unless we check it ourselves."
Nathan looked down. Even on Earth, people visited different continents. Some even invaded those continents.
It might be more useful to spend some time on this continent. However, it shouldn’t take too much time.
After hearing the second reason, Nathan pinched the bridge of his nose, not because he was skeptical about the plan but because he realized he might have been focusing on the idea of ’wasting time’ all this time.
"I see. What is the third reason?"
"The third reason is to find a survivor. It may be easy to destroy a country, but it is hard to kill every single human. People tend to survive and adapt in every situation, so there might be some people who are still alive. If we can ask them about the situation and how everything occurred, we may find some important information.
"Of course, we won’t be actively searching for her, but I wonder if we can ask Mae to perform a divination again?
"When we first visited Erendtall, Mae performed a divination and allowed us to find our encounter, right? Couldn’t we use this ability to find a fateful encounter on Myrall?"
"..." Nathan didn’t really want to rely on Mae’s divination for a lot of reasons, but if it was just to find people, it might not be so bad.
"It’s better to use the divination on me. Your karma shouldn’t be affected because that’s our current biggest weapon." 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎
Nathan crossed his arms, contemplating. "Fine, I understand. I’ll allow it. However, we need to set up the time limit."
"I know. It’s best to set the time limit to 5 days. We don’t need a whole week, especially with the limited time we currently have." Vivian suggested.
"If it’s only five days, all right then." Nathan nodded. They still had the time domain to prolong their stay here, so five days were still manageable.
Evelyn opened her mouth this time. "This is the second destination, Qion. The continent in the south. I actually have a suggestion this time.
"What if we teleport to the edge of this continent? It will take some time to be accurate, but we will then fly with Kun and circle around the continent.
"Right now, the people have to solve their food problems, and the sea is their favorite option. Erendtall relies on the sea before we bring our cloud-repelling device, so we may be able to find living beings if we just circle around the continent.
"Using Kun will gain people’s attention in case we miss it. After all, Kun is at that size."
Nathan thought for a moment. Kun’s size had grown further, considering he had transferred 15 million ena to unlock his next divinity. So, this time, his size was already bigger than a city.
"All right. Let’s do it that way. We will first go around Myrall. The time limit is five days. Then, we will head to Qion. I don’t mind my divine beasts getting discovered anymore, so we’ll just proceed a bit bolder than our usual way."
Evelyn and Vivian smiled. It looked like they had reached the agreement.
"All right. Since we’re done with this continent, let’s head straight to Myrall. I’ll teleport all of us." Evelyn didn’t wait any longer and simply snapped her fingers.
