Supreme Harem God System
Chapter 2322: Why are you here?
BOOOOOM BOOOOOOM BOOOOOOM
Darkness and Light collided against each other, and as a result?
The very void shook.
It twisted again and again as golden light and deep darkness clashed without pause. Waves of energy spread in every direction, crashing into distant stars, tearing through empty space, and striking worlds that had nothing to do with the war.
It had been a hundred years—
A time that was usually nothing for quite a few beings in the Universe, there were beings who slept through centuries without batting an eye—
But these particular hundred years—
They were different.
They were... terrifying.
Two of the strongest Factions, clashing against each other in an all-out War, shook the Universe, every single being, related or completely unrelated, felt it.
The fear, the anxiousness, the nervousness, they felt it all, and they felt it very, very clearly.
And it was only getting worse.
Light Borns moved through the void like living suns, their bodies shone so brightly that the darkness around them burned away. Their wings stretched wide, cutting through space, leaving behind glowing trails that refused to fade away.
They attacked without stopping.
Bursts of Light Energy.
Beams of light.
Spears of radiance.
Walls of divine energy.
Every single one of those attacks carried overwhelming power, power that... destroyed everything.
And opposite them were...
The Darkness Borns.
They spread like shadows.
While the Light Borns shone, they... consumed that shine.
Their forms shifted constantly, sometimes solid, sometimes smoke, sometimes nothing at all. Their presence alone dimmed the light around them. Wherever they moved, space turned colder... heavier... and... wrong.
A Darkness Born stretched its arm forward.
CRACK
The void cracked open silently and a massive wave of darkness spread out, swallowing everything in its path—light, energy, even the attacks coming toward it.
And then—
BOOOOOOM
Light and Darkness collided again.
The impact spread across the void like a shockwave that... had no end. Entire regions of space folded inward, then snapped back into place.
A hundred years ago, a clash like this would have shattered the void completely, cracks would spread endlessly, tearing the very reality apart.
But now, something was different.
The Universe... was no longer breaking as easily.
Now—
The void resisted.
It bent.
It shook.
But it didn’t break.
The Universe had... strengthened itself.
As if it had realized—
This war was not going to stop.
And it wasn’t.
All around, Light Borns and Darkness Borns kept fighting.
Because of Anomaly’s actions, because of how many Light Borns he had devoured to this point, the number of Light Borns was less than the number of Darkness Borns—
But Light made up that difference with stronger weapons and... more by having more Eternals on their side.
The Light had made the first move—
They specifically targeted weaker worlds and sent stronger beings, beings capable of dealing with those worlds, especially the world leaders, in limited time.
And it all happened so quickly that Darkness lost a significant number of Eternals, of course, those said Eternals were comparatively weaker—
But an Eternal was still an Eternal.
It was a loss that could now be seen cutting them down, Light, which should have been weaker than them, was now fighting them at a similar level—
No, because they were well prepared—
They were winning.
A Darkness Born pierced through three enemies with a single wave of decaying darkness—only to be grabbed from behind by three Light Borns and... burned out of existence.
Of course, the fall of Supreme Beings was rare, the Supreme Borns were strong, ridiculously strong, even when they were outnumbered, killing them was... impossible.
Even in these past hundred years, only a few thousand Supreme Borns had died.
But this didn’t mean they stopped participating—
No, the Supreme Borns led the charge, that too, with bright looks on their faces. These were beings who had been... bored for millions, billions of years—
Sure, commanding others, having them do their bidding was fun—
But after billions of years, even that had its limits.
These were beings of War, War was the only thing that fuelled them, the thrill that came with the feeling of knowing that they might die if they let their guard down.
As much as it scared them, it lit up a ray of life in their hearts that made them push forward.
And that made the War turn even uglier.
More explosions, more destruction, more deaths.
The Universe continued to scream in pain, and it wasn’t screaming because of mere Supreme Borns, no, it had strengthened itself—
At this point, only the strongest Eternals could actually make a difference to it—
But even they amounted to nothing compared to... those two.
The leaders of the two Factions.
The Infinity of Light, Seraphielle Light.
And the Infinity of Darkness, Ul’Thakar Darkness.
The Universe had put these two in an entirely different Void because there was no other way to contain the damage that came from their clash otherwise.
This was where the Universe spent most of its resources, a void reinforced so many times, layer by layer, that it had finally reached a level where it wasn’t cracking from even the slightest movements.
And even now, the void was still being strengthened.
The two Infinities inside the void were now facing each other with everything they had, their domains had clashed and had become an entirely different place.
A region where the Laws of the Universe no longer worked, everything happened because one of the two wanted it to happen.
Seraphielle moved like a star, golden light surrounded her completely, every movement she made caused waves of light strong enough to vaporize even the strongest Supreme Born without actual contact. Yes, just the impact alone was enough.
That was an Infinity.
A being who could kill one of the strongest beings in the Universe... by mistake.
Opposite her—
Ul’Thakar stood still, like he was the end of everything that had a beginning.
There was Seraphielle’s Light all around him, but not one ray reached him, almost as if the reality around him rejected Light.
The two didn’t speak, they no longer needed to, the time to exchange dialogue was long gone. They just... attacked.
Seraphielle raised her hand.
The entirety of the void lit up.
Countless spears of light, each stronger than an Eternal’s strongest attack, formed instantly, filling entire regions of space before launching forward all at once.
Ul’Thakar, again, didn’t move.
Darkness around him expanded and every spear vanished into the endless black around him.
And it didn’t end there—
The darkness surged forward, devouring every single particle of light in its way, but then—
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
As if the Light it had swallowed had had enough, it exploded. The explosion caused the space to tear again.
Yes, even the reinforced void wasn’t enough yet. The Universe still needed work and the more resources it put in, the more it screamed, the more it cried.
It wanted it to stop.
Which was unusual, because this wasn’t the first time Infinities fought, the Battle of the Five Infinities was far worse than this and while the Universe did cry at its beginning, it got used to it—
No, the reason behind the Universe’s cries was something else.
Spending resources wasn’t a problem because it knew all these resources would return to it, it would take time, but the balance would not tilt, everything that belonged to it, would belong to it—
But...
That wasn’t the case this time, while the Infinities’ battle didn’t have anything unexpected, during this battle, because of the chaos it brought to the Universe, the rest of the Worlds’ defenses had fallen apart and... a foreign entity was using that to its own advantage.
The Universe’s resources were being stolen, in a way that they wouldn’t recover, even with time and that was what the Universe was trying to warn the two Infinities about.
It was telling them to stop and take care of the foreign threat first—
But at this point—
The two Infinities, even when they knew about the outside threat and the possible destruction he could cause, simply did not care.
This was no longer about the Universe, it was about their own wounded egos, the pride they had built up for trillions and trillions of years.
The War continued—
And it would continue till one of them perished.
Or at least—
That’s what the two Infinities thought as they battled each other and gave their all, both refusing to give in—
But then—
"Stop."
"That is enough."
As the two Infinities launched another set of attacks, suddenly, everything around them froze, as if time itself had paused.
Of course, the restriction was loose, if they put in more strength, they knew they could forcefully break the freeze but they didn’t.
Because the two beings that were now standing in front of them, trying to stop them, were the last two beings they expected to see here.
The Infinities of Balance and Eternity.
Equarios Balance and Orravyn Eternity.
Two beings who had the most to gain from their War, in a normal scenario, they would almost never stop this war, they had absolutely no reason to, but they did—
And that made the other two Infinities curious.
"Why are you here?"
Ul’Thakar questioned, in his mind, however, he was already preparing to attack.
Yes, he was planning to turn this into an even bigger War.
