Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!
Chapter 962: It reminds me of something.
Serafina was silent for a while, and then she resumed her polite lady's look.
"Now, if you're done, can we get down to business?"
Everyone who heard her words sensed a hidden threat directed at Idan. Most of the people scoffed, but some were worried.
Idan did not react to Serafina's threat in any way. He had already made his guild's position clear, and now he did not want to engage in a verbal altercation with the old monster, realizing that he would most likely lose. Idan was not experienced in such matters and he was surprised at how calm he was surrounded by such influential personalities.
"Representatives of the Awakened Association, distinguished members of the Federation Council, heads of great houses, guild leaders, Awakened and all invited parties! Greetings!" said Serafina, returning to her seat with a soft smile. Her voice sounded confident and loud, so that everyone could understand the meaning of her words.
"Let me introduce myself first." She turned around, presenting herself in front of everyone in her amazing beauty.
"Without a doubt, she's beautiful too," — Idan thought, comparing her to Lucinda.
"My name is Serafina," she said, and her charming voice penetrated the hearts of many. Ordinary mortals especially fell under her spell.
"Today we are not gathered here for ceremonies or for idle arguments. The four Anomalies that have arisen in the four sides of the Federation continue to gain strength and capture more and more territories. At the same time, the likelihood of the imminent appearance of rare resources that can change the balance of power for many years to come is growing."
Many did not pay attention to the danger of the anomaly, completely focusing on the news about the imminent appearance of resources.
Serafina, who was smiling inwardly, couldn't help but notice this.
She glanced at Idan and felt disappointed to see his calm, almost indifferent expression.
"At the moment, we are aware of four Anomalies.: An Ice Anomaly in the north, a Thunderstorm Anomaly in the east, a Fire Anomaly in the south and a Storm Anomaly in the west," Serafina said, listing these Anomalies. Four videos appeared on the big screen behind her, showing all four Anomalies clearly.
It was only now that they began to realize the danger of these Anomalies and began to feel anxious.
Not everyone had connections with personalities like the Eye of the Web and Leo, as in the Kingdom. Therefore, many did not have a complete picture of the current state of the world during the Third Disaster.
That's exactly what Serafina wanted.
"Don't worry," she said softly, drawing attention to herself.
"According to our calculations and forecasts, in a few days the Anomalies will reach their peak and stop increasing in size," she assured.
After these words, sighs of relief swept through the hall.
"As you know, all four Anomalies attract animals and birds from all over the Federation. In recent days, there has been an intensive migration of animals to anomalies," Serafina continued.
"Unlike the Second Disaster, when the main targets of the beast waves were human settlements, now their main target is Anomalies."
"They only attack cities when they get in their way, especially if the beasts are starving after a long and prolonged march."
In the footage behind Serafina, one could see many scenes with waves of beasts heading towards the anomalies, as well as fragments where the beasts attack the cities and clash with the defenses of the city defenders.
"Unlike the Junonia world, the beasts on Earth do not have an innate affinity with the elements. However, their current craving for certain anomalies makes us think: perhaps this is due to the instincts of evolution and the desire to find this very affinity," Serafina expressed her point of view, causing a wave of surprised sighs and understanding glances.
"If the beasts can gain an affinity with the elements, won't that make them even more dangerous?" One of the representatives of the great families exclaimed, voicing the fears of many.
"Unfortunately, this is the case," Serafina confirmed, and the atmosphere in the hall became tense again.
"No matter how you look at it, she knows how to work with the public," Idan noted with admiration.
"Currently, thanks to the efforts of the Awakened Ones of our Association, we have general information about the Anomalies." Serafina paused so that everyone could comprehend what she had heard, and continued: "The first thing our people learned is that each Anomaly consists of three layers."
"Three layers?" Idan finally showed interest, raising his eyebrows. "It reminds me of something. Oh, yes, I remembered—Limbo's Forbidden Zones."
This thought flashed through Idan's mind as soon as he heard about the layers of Anomalies.
As if confirming his guess, Serafina said:
"The Anomalies are divided into three layers: outer, middle and central."
"It really looks like a Forbidden Zone.", — Idan thought.
Idan's reaction did not escape Serafina's attention, and she smiled to herself, glad that she was able to shake his confidence a little by surprising him with her knowledge.
"Layers are not just the boundaries of an Anomaly," Serafina said.
A huge circular Anomaly shape appeared on the screen, divided into three layers.
"These are the boundaries of the Anomaly, limiting the concentration of the elements," explained Serafina.
"In the outer layer, despite its frightening nature," at that moment, a video shot outside the Anomaly appeared on the screen, demonstrating its size and appearance.
After giving everyone enough time to appreciate what they saw, Serafina continued:
"The concentration of elements in this layer is the lowest, but it occupies the most extensive territory."
Although everyone could clearly see the size of the Anomaly's outer layer on the map, they were not fully aware of its true extent.
"The power of the elements here is such that it is better for creatures of the initial Silver rank not to go there. Only those who have reached the peak Silver rank or have almost broken through to the Golden rank will feel safe in this place."
This revelation startled many and caused a heated discussion.
"This is followed by the middle layer, which is the second largest after the outer layer. The concentration of the elements here is so high that only creatures of Golden rank and above will be comfortable here."
Idan realized that Serafina had said these words mainly to the Awakened, as if to show them their place.
"Finally, the last central layer is the very heart of the Anomaly. Its concentration is so high that only Platinum—ranked creatures can survive in these harsh conditions," with these words, Serafina looked around at everyone.
"And the most important thing, according to our observations, is the Quintessence of the Elements, which our King Idan so kindly told us about," Serafina paused here, looking at Idan with a smile again.
The others also noticed him.
"It will just appear in the central layers of the Anomalies."
"Oh!" Idan smiled back.
"So the fight for the Seeds of Law will be between Platinum—ranked beings, won't it?" he thought, not too surprised by this news.
