Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!
Chapter 965: Who gave you permission to leave?
"Who am I?" asked Ned with a crazy smile.
"I am my King's most loyal servant, known as Ned, the Duke of Madness."
Ned didn't have to think long about how to introduce himself.
Idan's memories quickly helped him adopt the appropriate title that his Master had previously used. This title was completely consistent with his true nature.
And, of course, he liked this title very much himself – the Duke of Madness.
A burst of Madness Energy began to fill the hall, affecting the consciousness of those who were weak in spirit.
As the leader of this gathering, Serafina was not going to allow further developments and the destruction of what she had achieved.
A soft energy of light gushed out from her body, which began to envelop the chaotic energy of madness emanating from Ned, isolating her and at the same time helping those who were under her influence to clear their thoughts.
Those who were exposed to the Energy of Madness, after coming to their senses, felt weak, covered in sweat and moved back away from this place.
Instead, representatives of other worlds came forward.
Serafina and everyone else felt how dangerous the energy coming from Ned was.
Milena, standing behind Ned, was not surprised or influenced by the energy of madness. She, like everyone else who had previously signed contracts with Doppelgangers, knew the true nature of those they had decided to contract with.
All the Doppelgangers, without exception, were creatures born into the chaotic energy of madness. It was their nature.
Thanks to the contract with such a being, they all gained some degree of immunity from the harmful effects of the energy of madness on the mind.
Milena didn't like the way things were unfolding.
Crackle! Crackle!
Suddenly, everyone heard a crash and, turning around, saw a rubber band rising from the floor, covered in blood.
Ned's powerful blow, which almost crushed his head, did not remain without consequences.
His face was disfigured and covered in blood: his nose was broken, his lips were torn, and his eyes, filled with rage, seemed sunken in.
Only the fact that it was his humanoid form and not his true one allowed him to ignore such damage.
However, instead of the pain, Rezkar was most worried about the humiliation he had experienced.
His dragon pride couldn't accept it.
Darkness began to gather around his body.
"I said enough!" said Serafina, shrouding the darkness of Rezkar with her light.
She was supported in this by another Guardian of the Light.
"Graaaaa!" growled Rezkar, trying to resist.
The building began to shake.
An ordinary concrete building could not withstand the confrontation of Diamond-ranked creatures, even if their strength was suppressed to Platinum.
"Don't make me take serious measures, Rezkar," Serafina warned, speaking to him through the Soul Force. "Just because you're Sarvok's subordinate won't stop me, and you won't leave here alive."
Only the threat of death coming from Lady Serafina made Rezkar restrain his anger and not go on a rampage.
Having temporarily restrained Rezkar, Serafina turned to Ned, who was not going to back down.
His eyes, meeting Serafina's, burned with madness and defiance, despite the power she had demonstrated.
Instead of fear, desire began to flare up in Ned's soul. The desire to fight and appreciate the power of the second most powerful Guardian of Light.
He had already encountered one of the Guardians of Light before, and she was undeniably strong. But the outcome of their battle remained uncertain due to the dastardly act of that Guardian, who used the artifact, aiming at the city to cowardly escape.
Before Ned could start testing Serafina's strength, he suddenly heard Milena's voice coming from behind him,
"Ned, stop."
Her words reached the ears of the others, but no one believed that they would be able to stop him.
But, to everyone's surprise, they had an effect. The madman they saw suddenly stopped radiating eerie energy. His smile faded, and his gaze began to soften.
This couldn't help but surprise everyone present. They all looked at Milena, who was amazed that her summoning had an effect on Ned.
Milena ignored their stares. She looked at Ned and said:
"Let's get out of here."
Ned, returning to his former form, smiled and nodded in agreement.:
"Okay."
Hearing his answer, Milena smiled with relief and, glancing at the crowd, was about to leave when she suddenly felt pressure hanging over her and Ned.
"Who gave you permission to leave?" asked Serafina.
She couldn't just let them go after what had just happened.
Otherwise, everyone would think that everything is allowed to the Kingdom.
Ned, seeing that Serafina wasn't going to let them go, broke into his crazy smile again. For him, any circumstances were acceptable. He was about to return to his true nature when Milena suddenly stepped forward, stopping him.
Milena did not want the situation to escalate further. She boldly raised her gaze and looked at Serafina.
Instead of answering, she asked a counter question:
"Who said that we need someone's permission to leave?"
Serafina, impressed by Milena's boldness and audacity, frowned.
"The Kingdom is not a part of the Awakened Association."
"Therefore, we have no reason to listen to your words or anyone else's," Milena said, looking around at everyone.
Recently, most of the creatures from other worlds have been annoyed by the Kingdom. Milena's public statement in front of such a large audience did not please not only Serafina, but also other representatives of other worlds.
One by one, they began to come forward to express their position. With their actions, they seemed to be answering Milena's question that they would not let them just leave.
Milena, looking at them, remained calm, without showing a drop of nervousness. On the contrary, there was a faint smile on her face.
At that moment, everyone sensed the danger and jumped back. A lightning-sparking slit flew in front of them, leaving a deep gash on the floor and ceiling, separating Milena and Ned from the others.
"Well, well, who's hurting you, little sister, and won't let you leave?" a voice asked. Following him, everyone saw a figure with four wings sparkling with the element of lightning outside the window.
"Tell me who it is, and I'll take care of him," the new guest said confidently.
Many noticed that the new guest was wearing the familiar uniform of the Kingdom Guild. However, creatures from other worlds, including Serafina, reacted quite differently.
"Rank 5!" one thought flashed through everyone's mind.
"The Kingdom had its own Rank 5 creatures!"
