Supreme Warrior in the City
Chapter 2462: Surrounded
Su Yang sped up in pursuit, and soon, he spotted the Nine Palace Main God and his group in the distance.
There are a total of eight people with the Nine Palace Main God, but only six jumped into the canyon. That means two people have yet to come down, and their intentions remain unknown.
However, this doesn't affect Su Yang. His main target is the Nine Palace Main God, the leader of this group. As long as he's in the canyon, their primary objective is clearly within it, and Su Yang just needs to focus on him.
As Su Yang approached, the Nine Palace Main God noticed him. He glanced up with a hint of surprise but said nothing and continued descending, seemingly unfazed by Su Yang's presence.
This situation made Su Yang even more puzzled; does this group led by the Nine Palace Main God not worry about interference?
After falling for a while, they were nearing the edge of the main structure, yet showed no sign of slowing down.
Su Yang was bewildered, but still refrained from stopping them. Beyond considering if he was a match for them, the key was his curiosity about their actions.
Beyond the edge of the main structure lies the Land of Chaos. Su Yang wondered if they dared venture there.
Finally, according to Su Yang's calculations, the Nine Palace Main God and his group reached the edge.
Unexpectedly, they didn't halt but continued rushing downward.
Su Yang widened his eyes; did they really not fear for their lives? Entering the Land of Chaos would be fatal even for a Guardian God!
Amidst his surprise, Su Yang suddenly noticed a massive cave at the edge he calculated. It was pitch black, obscuring any view beyond, yet he saw countless Spiritual Sources flying out.
The Nine Palace Main God's group entered this cave.
What is the story behind this cave?
Contemplating briefly, Su Yang gritted his teeth and followed through. Seeing this cave suggested it wasn't Chaos. Besides, if Guardian Gods dared to go in, why should he fear? πππππ¨π²πππ¨π―ππ.ππΌπΊ
Upon passing through the cave, Su Yang's surroundings brightened, allowing him to see everything clearly.
The shocking sight was the six people glaring at him, encircling him. These six were none other than the Nine Palace Main God's group.
In other words, after entering the cave, they lay in ambush, waiting for Su Yang.
Once Su Yang entered, he was directly surrounded.
Mutual gazes created a moment of silence, then Su Yang abruptly turned to retreat.
His strength was no match for the Nine Palace Main God, let alone these six powerful Guardian Gods. If they fought, he'd surely suffer.
Seeing him retreat, the six didn't intervene, instead, wore mocking smiles watching him.
At the cave exit, Su Yang was suddenly blocked by an invisible barrier. He charged with all his might but couldn't budge it, forcibly stopped.
Suddenly confused, Su Yang wondered what happened. He entered without encountering a barrier; why did one appear now? Did he choose the wrong location?
Trying a different spot, he flew back, but the outcome remained the same. After several attempts, he confirmed the barrier truly existed at the exit, preventing his escape.
Turning around, he frowned at the six.
"Giving up the struggle?" a man beside the Nine Palace Main God sneered.
Su Yang took a deep breath and calmly asked, "What is this place?"
"You're not qualified to know!" the man snapped.
Su Yang didn't mind, coldly asking, "Did you know I'd be trapped?"
"Why else lure you here?" the man chuckled. "Didn't Bright City tell you? This place is a one-way loop. Once you enter, you can't leave. Why jump in, are you just curious? Haven't you heard curiosity killed the cat?"
Eyeing the six, Su Yang retorted, "If it's one-way, then by entering, you're trapped too!"
"Do you think you're comparable to us?" the man boasted. "We are Guardian Gods, understand? Noble Guardian Gods, incomparable to an ant like you. To an ant, this is death; to us, it's a passageway, clear?"
Su Yang pondered, could Guardian Gods survive? What's the truth?
"Hmph, anyone can brag!" Su Yang showed disdain, unfazed, countering, "We're in the same spot. I can't leave, neither can you, stop the nonsense. Think I'll be scared? I jumped in, no fear."
"Lowly ant, knowing nothing yet so arrogant!" the man scoffed. "Didn't I make it clear? This passage is for Guardian Gods, not someone like you!"
"Blow your horn!" Su Yang leaned against the invisible wall, laughing, "Keep performing, don't stop!"
As the man continued, the Nine Palace Main God interrupted: "Who are you?"
Su Yang glanced at him, coldly replying, "Bright City Feiyu!"
His brow furrowed, the Nine Palace Main God asked, "Why follow us?"
"Simply curious!" Su Yang explained. "Spiritual Sources here suggest more below. If I could obtain them, maybe I could establish a Main City myself!"
Su Yang lied to mislead the Nine Palace Main God into thinking he's greedy, concealing his true intentions.
The Nine Palace Main God scrutinized Su Yang and stated, "After so many years, countless entered the canyon but never returned, you understand this?"
