"Why don’t you take a closer look?" Noah said with a mysterious smile.

Su Yaoyao gently took his hand and carefully felt his palm and fingers. The sensation was incredibly lifelike.

She slowly rolled up Noah’s sleeve to inspect it, but she saw no signs of any mechanism. "It’s this realistic?" she exclaimed in amazement.

Noah laughed, amused by her adorable reaction. He raised a hand and gently poked her cheek in a sweet, teasing way. "Have you forgotten I’m an octopus, Yaoyao?"

It dawned on Su Yaoyao, and she tapped her forehead. "Of course! Octopuses are mollusks. Their tentacles can regenerate."

"You’re so smart, Yaoyao," Noah praised.

Su Yaoyao finally breathed a sigh of relief. It was a good thing Noah’s arm could regenerate.

But Noah’s expression suddenly turned pitiful. He hugged Su Yaoyao, gently nuzzling her neck and greedily inhaling her scent. He whispered:

"But the pain was real. The days after I lost my arm... it hurt so much. And it hurt just as much when it was growing back."

Her heart ached for him, and she held him close, blaming herself. "I’m so sorry. It’s all my fault. I should have stopped it from happening."

Noah seized the opportunity. "How could this be your fault, Yaoyao? It was your Beast Husband who bit me. Why don’t you cast him aside and let me be your Beast Husband instead?"

Su Yaoyao quickly refused. "I can’t do that! Bai Lian was just desperate to save me. Besides, we love each other very much."

For an instant, Noah’s eyes darkened. A sinister look flashed across his face, but unfortunately, Su Yaoyao didn’t see it.

’In his mind, all those Beast Husbands were villains who had stolen his Yaoyao from him. He hated every single one of them.’

"Then how do you plan on compensating me?" Noah pressed, refusing to let it go.

"Compensation..." Su Yaoyao was at a loss. From his perspective, Bai Lian’s actions weren’t wrong, but as their wife, she was willing to take responsibility.

After a moment’s thought, she said, "Pani is a doctor. How about I have him examine you? He could prescribe some Ten-Complete Great Replenishing Pills or something to help you recuperate."

"Recuperate? Yaoyao, do I look that weak to you?" Noah feigned indignation and suddenly tackled Su Yaoyao, pushing her down onto the sofa.

Pinned beneath Noah, Su Yaoyao’s heart pounded in panic. She struggled, writhing beneath him. "Noah, let me go! This is a lounge! Someone could walk in at any moment!"

’She knew if her Beast Husbands saw this, they would be overcome with jealousy. And she’d been away from the main hall for a while now; they were probably already on their way to find her.’

But Noah seemed possessed, completely deaf to her pleas.

His eyes were bloodshot, filled with obsessive fanaticism. "Good! Let them see!" he shouted. "Let them see how much I love you! I’ll declare to all of them that you are mine!"

As he spoke, his tentacles shot out of their own accord. Slick and powerful, they moved like nimble snakes, swiftly coiling around her arms and legs, immobilizing her.

They roamed over her body, at times caressing her gently, at others applying slight pressure. It was as if they were exploring every inch of her skin while deliberately teasing her senses. His actions were fanning the flames, making the charged atmosphere in the room even more intense.

Noah’s face was faintly flushed, his eyes full of fiery passion. He leaned close to Su Yaoyao’s ear, his voice trembling with deep emotion as he whispered:

"Yaoyao, I missed you so much. During all those painful days we were apart, the hope of coming to the Imperial City to see you was the only thing that got me through it. I thought about it every minute of every day."

Listening to Noah’s confession, Su Yaoyao felt a whirlwind of conflicting emotions.

A part of her was touched by his deep affection, but another part was panicked and repulsed by his sudden, intimate assault.

She twisted her body, trying to escape his hold, but his tentacles only coiled tighter, rendering her struggles futile.

She tried to compose herself, speaking in a tone that was as authoritative as she could manage. "Noah, calm down. You can’t be so impulsive about these things. I already have my Beast Husbands. We share a deep bond, and that’s a fact you can’t change."

Noah flinched, a flash of pain in his eyes, but it was immediately replaced by determination. "Yaoyao, I don’t care. From the moment I met you, you’re the only one who’s been in my heart. I know they’re important to you, but I have the right to pursue you, too."

Su Yaoyao looked at his stubborn expression, feeling utterly helpless. "I understand how you feel, but you can’t force love."

Noah stared intently at her, a hint of defiance in his gaze. "Yaoyao... do I not stand a chance at all? I really can’t lose you."

With that, a resolute look filled Noah’s eyes. He slowly lowered his head and, before Su Yaoyao could react, gently pressed his lips to hers.

The kiss was full of reckless impulse and fiery emotion. Noah’s lips trembled slightly, as if pouring out all the love he had suppressed for so long.

Su Yaoyao’s eyes flew open, and her body went rigid.

’She never imagined Noah would do something so brazen.’

A complex wave of emotions washed over her—surprise, embarrassment, and a thread of indescribable panic.

She tried to turn her head away, to escape the kiss, but Noah cupped her face tightly, giving her no way to retreat.

Noah’s tongue gently pried her teeth apart, delving into her mouth.

He kissed her greedily, as if trying to absorb her very essence into himself.

The world spun around Su Yaoyao. Her mind went blank, and the strength to resist gradually seeped from her body.

Her hands were bound tight, and she could only make muffled sounds—part protest, part helpless surrender.

The lounge fell silent, the only sounds being their ragged breaths and the frantic beat of Noah’s heart.

A sensual tension filled the room, wrapping around them like an invisible veil.

Noah’s tentacles grew bolder in their exploration. One moment they were sliding gently over her waist, the next they were tracing a slow path up her inner thigh, teasing her until her entire body went soft and her cheeks burned as if on fire.

Just then, footsteps sounded from outside the door. Each one seemed to pound directly on Su Yaoyao’s heart.

Su Yaoyao’s eyes widened in terror. "Mmph, mmph..." She desperately tried to speak, but with her mouth sealed by Noah’s, only helpless whimpers escaped.

Su Yaoyao listened as the footsteps drew closer, growing clearer with each passing moment. Her heart leaped into her throat. She was so frantic that her eyes turned red, and tears welled up, threatening to spill over.

But Noah, far from stopping, only became more brazen...
