Chapter 190: The Woman at the Training Grounds

The question slipped from Sophia’s lips before she could stop it—not that she was willing to stop it in the first place.

Ever since she’d seen the blonde woman, she had been unsettled. There was something about her that didn’t sit right. She’d claimed not to be curious about who the woman was, insisting it wasn’t her concern, but she couldn’t deny what she felt. She had to know.

"Who was the blonde-haired woman at the training grounds?" she asked.

Orion, who had been reaching for her hand, paused mid-motion. His brows furrowed slightly, then lifted as if in recognition.

Sophia continued before he could answer, her voice calm but edged with curiosity. "Nia told me her name was Holly?"

Orion nodded.

"You two looked familiar with each other. You know her, don’t you?" she asked.

For a long second, Orion said nothing. The sound of the wind brushing against the window filled the space between them.

He leaned back against the desk, crossing his arms. "I know everyone in the pack," he said.

Sophia rolled her eyes. "That’s not what I mean and you know it. I’m asking if you know her intimately."

"Are you jealous?" he asked with a smirk.

The idea that she could be jealous was kind of attractive to him—and that said a lot, because everything Sophia did these days was attractive to him.

Sophia tilted her head, eyes narrowing slightly. "There’s nothing to be jealous about yet," she said evenly. "I just want to know who she is to you."

Orion’s lips curved into a faint smile. "I’d like it if you were jealous."

"The potential is there. Who is she to you?" she asked again.

"Holly is my ex," he said simply. "We dated when we were younger. It didn’t last long. We broke up a long time ago, and there’s nothing between us anymore."

Sophia studied him. The way he said it was casual—almost too casual—but she didn’t press him right away. She just folded her arms and said, "You don’t feel anything for her anymore," pointing it out rather than asking.

That made him laugh quietly, the sound soft and low. "Isn’t that obvious? I’m all over you now—you marked me."

Sophia didn’t smile. "Do you think she feels the same? That she doesn’t have feelings for you anymore?" she asked.

"I..." He began, then shook his head. "I was of the opinion that she had no feelings for me anymore."

"But?"

"But... that’s debatable. Especially after what I’ve seen these days. Still, you don’t have to worry about her. I want nothing to do with her. And she doesn’t smell like you—or annoy me like you do—so that’s a good thing," Orion said with a small smile.

Sophia still didn’t smile.

"Come on, shorty. Just smile a bit," Orion teased.

"I have one more question, though. Was she your first girlfriend?" she asked.

Orion nodded. "Yes. We were also each other’s first."

Sophia rolled her eyes. "Isn’t that just so flipping cute?"

Orion chuckled, shaking his head. "You sound jealous."

"I am," she said without hesitation.

"I have nothing to do with her anymore," Orion assured her. "There’s no need for you to be jealous."

Sophia went on quietly, her tone sincere. "I’m jealous of the fact that she was your first, Orion. I know there’s nothing between you two—especially on your part. If there was, I’d just have to teach you a lesson."

Orion chuckled lightly. He could only imagine what Sophia meant by that. The firelight flickered across his face, painting him in soft gold and shadow. Then he sighed and took a slow step toward her.

"You do realize," he murmured, his voice lower now, "that I was your first, right?"

Sophia met his gaze, shaking her head slightly. "It’s not the same thing, Orion. You had that experience before me—you already knew what it was like to care for someone that way." She hesitated, looking away. "It’s silly, I know. But still...I hate it more that it was with her and not me."

He stopped in front of her, close enough that she could feel his warmth. His hand came up, brushing her chin until she looked at him again.

For a while, neither of them spoke. The silence wasn’t heavy, though. It was full—like snow falling outside, steady and sure.

Then Orion’s expression shifted, that glint of mischief returning to his eyes. "You know," he said, tone dipping into something almost playful, "there’s one thing Holly wasn’t the first to do."

Sophia blinked, taken off guard. "Really?" she asked with wide eyes. "What is it?"

Orion smiled at her. "A blow job," he told her.

Sophia just stared at him with her mouth agape, making Orion laugh. He knew the words would shut her up. But what he didn’t expect was for Sophia to get up from the chair and kneel in front of him.

"Sophia..." he said in shock. "What are you doing?"

She smiled sweetly. "Why? You don’t like me kneeling? Because I remember you saying that the best way to thank you was by kneeling."

"That wasn’t what I—"

"Would you rather I bowed like Joren, then?" she asked innocently.

But there was nothing innocent about what was happening, and there was already blood rushing to Orion’s cock. He swallowed hard.

"Okay, fine. You win. Get up. I was only joking with you," he said.

"But I’m not joking. You said she didn’t give you a blowjob, right? I want to give you one," she told him.

Orion couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He calmed himself, thinking she might be playing a trick on him—but she wasn’t. There was no sign she was lying. No ringing in his ears. And Noctis was panting like he couldn’t wait for this.

"I’ve always wanted to know what it feels like to give someone a blowjob. I want to do it with you, Orion," she told him.
