The Ascension of Contracted Spirits
Chapter 135 - 118: Exorcising all Slight Dust, Sandstorm Witch!(6000 words)_1
With a deafening yell, an old man standing at a height of 1.75 meters with a full face of beard, entered Ye Hanjun’s line of sight.
His eyes sparkled with delight, just like getting a favorite toy, completely overjoyed.
Behind him hopped the Rocket Frog—it might look adorably silly with its chubby white belly.
But the red barrel on its back pointed up at a 45-degree angle indicated that it can launch terrible Fire Element attacks at any moment which was enough to scare any average student off their wits.
"Lord Han, come take a look! Do you like the new forging formation and the smithing table?" Tu Longxing waved enthusiastically, while Da Mu’er and Sikong Wei watched helplessly from afar.
They cautiously kept their distance, afraid of being dragged into the 23rd tour of the workshop.
It was truly excruciating!
When the Master Tu is excited, not even hundreds of bulls could stop him.
Those who dared to disobey him were either scolded then forced to look around, or smitten then again forced to tour the place. There was no third option.
But now, their savior had arrived!
Lord Han... he finally arrived!
A glimpse of Ye Hanjun, caused Sikong Wei and Da Mu’er to burst into laughter. Ye Hanjun nonchalantly strolled behind Tu Longxing.
He followed him down the underground stairs and into the original smithing room.
Surrounding him was the newly refurbished formation pattern and brand new equipment.
After ensuring that everything was in order, Ye Hanjun gave a slight nod of satisfaction.
"Master Tu, initiate the preheating device and start smithing," he pointed at the shiny silver furnace and said nonchalantly.
"Is there anything special to note?" Tu Longxing inquired.
"No need," Ye Hanjun shook his head, "The materials are all prepared, and the equipment meets the standards. With slight improvement in the process, the success rate is extremely high."
"You can continue the smithing operation as you did last time. I will keep a close eye on the process and at any point if I feel something is not right, I will immediately bring it to your notice."
"Good!" Tu Longxing laughed heartily, rolled up his sleeves, and his hammer slammed onto a piece of metal ore. Let’s get to work!
The bystanders, Sikong Wei and Da Mu’er found it hard to adjust to Tu Longxing’s high level of trust in Ye Hanjun’s guidance.
Especially recalling the first time they met Ye Hanjun when they had advised him to learn to know his own limits, the memory always left their faces flushed.
If today’s Blue Gold smithing really succeeded.
No matter how great their combined accomplishments were, they’d never equal the weight of Ye Hanjun in Tu Longxing’s heart.
"Bam!"
Fire surged as the smithing began. The furnace was already hot enough and didn’t require the assistance of Rocket Frog.
Tu Longxing started hammering on the ore, bit by bit from different angles, the metals were gradually purified, turning brighter and more lustrous.
An hour passed, marking the end of the first round of smithing, then new materials started pouring in.
Xinlan Grass, Gu Lingmu, Rust Flower, Ignition Liquid, Mushroom Powder, Burst Flame Grass...
Ye Hanjun did not guide Tu Longxing through the perfect process.
In case they ended up having pure Blue Gold metal with the purity exceeding 95 percent, it would be too exaggerated.
Keeping it around 90 percent would leave Tu Longxing over the moon with joy, grinning from ear to ear.
"Ribbit!!"
Half an hour later, the Rocket Frog continuously spurted out flames.
This was the final step of smelting, Ye Hanjun stopped the Torch Monkey nurturing the idea of joining in, as he fixed his gaze on the roaring flame’s centre.
When the flame receded, a large clamp held an irregular black block, throwing it into a tub of condensing ice. The sound of intense cooling cracked the silence.
Soon afterwards, the metal block was taken out again, it had turned into a brightly transparent dominant sky blue color.
When the color emerged, Sikong Wei and Da Mu’er widened their eyes in surprise.
Tu Longxing, who was patiently awaiting the outcome, suddenly burst into a roaring laughter. Overwhelmed with excitement, he hugged Hanjun and patted him vigorously on the shoulders, almost knocking the wind out of him.
"Hahaha, we did it. We really did it!"
"No need for testing, I’m certain this purity meets the standard! From now on, all of my weapons can be strengthened with Blue Gold. It’s exhilarating! Absolutely delightful!"
Tu Longxing was ecstatic, while Ye Hanjun struggled to free himself.
After finally escaping his clutches, Ye Hanjun couldn’t help but cough up a little blood.
"Eh? I forgot that you were wounded!"
The almost mad Tu Longxing paused for a second, then immediately fished out one bottle after another of medicinal pills from his Dimensional Space Bag:
"Take them, take them, these are the finest wound-healing medicines. Take as many as you want!"
"You simply can’t die young! It would be such a pity if you died before me!"
"What else do you want? Just say it!"
"Forging Blue Gold has helped me immensely. Even though I am heavily in debt now... within my capacity, I should express my gratitude!"
"No urgent requirements for now," Ye Hanjun smiled softly, took a symbolic few bottles of medicine, and carefully proposed his requirements:
"But I would like to borrow a smithing room from Master Tu. An average one would suffice."
"That’s easy!" Tu Longxing waved his hand, pointing at Sikong Wei and said:
"Let them arrange it for you, you can use it anytime! Every day, even!"
"If you could come here to the smithy every day, I would be more than delighted!"
"Thanks, Master Tu," Ye Hanjun bowed:
"Since the Blue Gold is now settled, Master Tu will need lots of time for new research, I won’t disturb you here anymore."
