"All of you, shut up!" Marvin Rafael shouted at them.

The Hopper sisters did indeed shut up, but after a few seconds, Ashley Hopper’s expression changed, and she clutched her belly, crying out in pain.

"Brother Marvin, my stomach hurts so much. Is it the baby again?"

Ashley’s face was ruddy, not at all like something was wrong with the baby. Seeing this, Sienna Johnson got angry and couldn’t help but expose her.

"Sally, why are you just standing there? Didn’t you see my sister-in-law’s baby is acting up? Hurry and take her to the hospital."

"Yes."

Ashley hesitated for a moment, but Jenny reacted quickly and stood protectively in front of her sister, saying, "Get away, I can tell you’re up to no good as soon as I see you. Trying to harm my sister’s child."

Sally laughed, "Are you paranoid? Why would I want to harm your sister’s child?

Your sister is crying out in pain here; she’s got a problem with the baby, and instead of taking her to the hospital, you’re blocking her. What do you want?

Don’t tell me you’ve got your eyes on your brother-in-law and want your sister to leave so you can take her place?"

"You, what nonsense are you talking?"

Jenny’s face turned red, and she raised her hand to hit Sally, but Sally’s skills were far beyond what someone like Jenny could handle. She smoothly dodged out of the way.

There were steps at the door, and Jenny stumbled down them, hitting her forehead.

"How can you be so careless?" Sally said coldly.

Jenny felt a sharp pain in her forehead. She wiped it with her hand and saw blood. Her eyes widened as she looked at the blood in her palm and screamed, "Brother-in-law, my face is ruined!"

Adrian Desmond, watching the commotion from the side, couldn’t help but laugh at the words "ruined face,"

"Ruined face? You need to have a face to ruin it."

Jenny, furious and embarrassed, walked over to Marvin Rafael and started complaining, "Brother-in-law, look at her. She’s bullying us, and as soon as this woman arrives, it’s trouble. My sister has a problem with the baby, and I’m disfigured.

Kick her out, don’t let her come to our house."

"All of you, calm down!" Marvin Rafael, face pale, didn’t dare look at Sienna Johnson.

Sienna Johnson looked at Marvin Rafael and asked, "Where’s Mom?"

Marvin Rafael replied quietly, "Mom has always lived at the old house."

Sienna Johnson insisted on coming to Marvin Rafael’s mainly to see Rose Collins. Since she’s not here, Sienna Johnson had no reason to stay and face people she didn’t like.

"Since Mom doesn’t live here, I’ll go stay at the old house tonight."

Sienna Johnson was about to leave when she saw two elderly people walking over, but she didn’t pay them any mind.

"Isn’t this Sienna?" The man greeted her.

"Who are you?" Sienna thought he was a local villager and spoke to him politely.

"I’m Ashley’s father."

Sienna Johnson observed the elderly man in front of her; although he appeared old, his complexion was hearty, and his attire was quite good. The woman beside him wore thick gold bracelets and a gold ring on her hand.

Country folk, unlike people in the city, care about taste and brand names; they just know that rich people must be covered in gold and silver.

Ashley’s father was very polite, "Sienna, since you’re here, why don’t you come inside for a bit?"

At Marvin Rafael’s wedding, Sienna Johnson had met the Hopper family, though not intimately. Her impression of the Hopper elders was that they seemed worn down by life’s hardships, leaving them unable to shout out.

The man in front of her was conversing energetically, his eyes no longer timid or evasive... Sienna Johnson truly saw the Hopper family in a new light.

"No, I want to go see my mom." With that, Sienna Johnson left without looking back.

Marvin Rafael caught up, saying, "Sister, I’ll go with you."

Sienna Johnson’s voice was cold, "Isn’t sister-in-law’s baby acting up? You should go to the hospital with her for a check-up. The baby acting up is not a small matter."

Marvin Rafael’s face turned crimson, Ashley Hopper was obviously pretending, and everyone was just keeping up appearances, not exposing it.

Ashley Hopper at this moment weakly cried, "Brother Marvin, my stomach hurts so much, come quickly."

Marvin Rafael said irritably, "Enough, stop treating people like fools!"

Adrian Desmond helped Sienna Johnson get into the car, Sally glanced at the Hopper family and chuckled mysteriously; it was her first time encountering such an interesting family. It would have been great if Melly were here.
