The Boys: Ultimate Multiversal Lifeform
Chapter 142: A Madwoman, a Complete Madwoman
"I said hands on your head, pussy boy. Stand up!"
The terrorist pressed the gun to Hughie’s head and made him get up, then patted down his pockets. He found nothing.
"Fucking hell, poorer than me." The terrorist casually snatched Hughie’s hat and put it on his own head.
"Stay still. Don’t move."
After the warning, the terrorist grabbed his bag and moved toward the back.
"Fucking bad luck. They took every dollar I had," Hughie whispered to Mother’s Milk.
Mother’s Milk stayed quiet, frowning with worry. If things went smoothly they should be getting off the train soon, but could reality really be that kind? He wasn’t optimistic.
Sure enough.
A gunshot rang out from the next car, followed by the terrorist’s roar. "Go to hell! Anyone who’s watching Stormfront and tries to call the cops and I’ll blow their fucking head off!"
Instantly, everyone clamped their mouths shut, too scared to make a sound.
"We need to get off this train," Mother’s Milk said urgently, scanning for an exit.
"We can get off when the train stops."
Their seats were right by the door. Hughie was sure the terrorists wouldn’t stick around long. The train was about to pull into the station. If they stayed, they’d never get away.
"If I was Butcher, I’d buy a toilet plunger and suck that blocked brain right out of your head."
"Don’t forget we’re wanted criminals. If the train stops normally, not only will they get caught, so will we. And that’s the best-case scenario. If the NYPD calls Vought for help, we’re fucked. We better pray the supe they send isn’t Homelander."
Mother’s Milk spoke fast, voice tight.
Luckily the terrorists realized the same thing. After stuffing their bags full, they stormed the driver’s cabin with guns drawn and forced the train to stop.
The train soon switched to a side track.
"Get ready to move."
Mother’s Milk grabbed Hughie and tensed up. The second the doors opened, he shot out like a black panther. Halfway out, he glanced up at the sky and saw a dark figure flying toward them at insane speed.
"Get down!" Mother’s Milk tackled Hughie and they both dove behind a concrete pillar.
On the other side, the lead Black guy was yelling at his greedy crew. "Idiots! The cops are coming! You want money or your life?"
But the moment his right foot stepped out of the train, a slender arm clamped around his neck and lifted him off the ground.
"Go to hell, you piece of shit!" Stormfront squeezed hard and crushed the man’s neck, then tossed the body aside like trash.
"Stormfront! It’s Stormfront!"
"Thank God."
"Oh my God, a superhero finally came to save us."
"Stormfront?" One of the Black guys looked terrified. He immediately dropped his gun and put his hands on his head. "I surrender. Everything’s in the bag."
He thought Stormfront would let him go. Instead, a bolt of lightning filled his vision and exploded.
Bang! The man flew backward, his body carbonized on impact, dead in an instant.
The passengers in the car didn’t look scared. They actually looked relieved.
"Nice one! Stormfront, you’re my idol."
"Thank you for saving us!"
"Is Homelander here too? Did you come together?"
The passengers seemed to forget about the remaining terrorists and started thanking Stormfront all at once.
"No need to thank me. It’s our job as superheroes. Are you okay? Don’t worry, I’ll take care of them." Stormfront smiled at the crowd and gently comforted the little girl beside her. Her actions earned another round of loud applause.
The terrorists left in the car exchanged quick glances.
Since Stormfront clearly wasn’t going to let them go, they might as well fight to the death.
"Fuck you!" One terrorist aimed at Stormfront and pulled the trigger.
Stormfront didn’t dodge. She spread her arms like she was welcoming the bullets.
Thump! thump! thump!
The brass rounds couldn’t even pierce her skin. If you slowed the footage down by a few thousand times, you’d see the bullet heads flatten on impact before falling uselessly to the ground.
The terrorists kept firing until their guns clicked empty. They were completely losing it and tried to bolt for the doors.
"Hmph. Trying to run?"
Stormfront let out a cold snort.
Several bolts of lightning shot out like venomous snakes and struck the terrorists, burning them into charred corpses on the spot.
One Black guy backed into a corner with nowhere left to go. He roared and lunged at Stormfront, biting down on her arm like some street thug in a brawl.
"How dare you lick my body with your filthy tongue!"
The next second... boom!
Hughie and Mother’s Milk watched in horror from outside the train.
A massive explosion ripped through the car. Flames mixed with lightning filled the entire carriage, shattering every window and blasting outward. The insane heat wave raised the temperature around them by dozens of degrees in an instant.
If they hadn’t been far enough from the train, they would have been cooked alive.
"My God!" Hughie stared blankly, repeating the same two words over and over. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
"Fucking Stormfront!"
Mother’s Milk cursed with pure hatred.
He refused to believe a few random thugs could cause an explosion like that. That level of destruction needed dozens or hundreds of pounds of TNT.
"She’s a lunatic. A complete fucking lunatic. She’s even more dangerous than Homelander!"
Mother’s Milk knew they couldn’t stick around. He grabbed Hughie and they took off. Hughie still hadn’t recovered from the blast. It was impossible to imagine how many passengers had just died in that explosion.
The second they left, Stormfront walked out of the burning wreckage completely unharmed.
Her expression was calm, without a trace of guilt. It looked like this kind of thing was routine for her.
When the police cars finally arrived, most of the officers were stunned by the sheer brutality of the attack. The lead captain’s hands were shaking as he approached Stormfront.
"Miss Stormfront, can you explain what happened here? From what we understand, you were a witness."
"I’m truly sorry for those who lost their lives." Stormfront put on a sad face before continuing. "I had the terrorists under control, but I didn’t expect them to have bombs planted on the train. I didn’t react in time and got caught in the flames."
At the same time, fire trucks and ambulances had already started putting out the blaze and pulling out survivors.
