Chapter 100: 9.10 I’m done living in your shadow

When A-Xuan woke up he patted the bed feeling lonely. He sat up and saw a note.

He grabbed the note and read it:

*Sorry you had to wake up alone, I had to go to Grey Media. Come and see me if you have time. In the drawer, there are passes for the house and the company. I already informed everyone. Love you.*

A-Xuan smiled and checked CF. He hopped into the shower and had breakfast sent to his room.

After breakfast, he took the elevator down, and when the doors opened he met Elwyn’s worried eyes. He ignored him and walked to the living room, Elwyn followed him.

Drea followed the sounds and looked at Elwyn sitting with A-Xuan wide-eyed. He hid wanting to see what he’ll say.

When yesterday he said he loved A-Xuan he thought that maybe he only said that to make him jealous or angry because he left him at the altar.

He came to see A-Xuan to find out what exactly happened when he was away. Even if it’s true that he left and abandoned him it’s fucked up that his brother married his fiance in his place.

It’s clear that his confidence grew during the time he’s been pretending to be him.

Now that I’m back I’ll show him that nothing belonged to him in the first place. He’ll go back to locking himself with his piano. He listened to their conversation with narrowed eyes.

A-Xuan looked down and murmured:

"You shouldn’t have come."

Elwyn lifted his head and said when he met his eyes:

"Do you know how sucky it was not to have breakfast with you today?"

A-Xuan sneered:

"Shouldn’t you have breakfast with your wife?"

Elwyn let go of his chin and looked at him feeling guilty. He does feel like in some way he cheated him.

He wanted A-Xuan to love him too while he knew he was married to Drea and that he would come back.

He assured:

"You’re the only one I want to have breakfast with. You’re the only one I want to be with, I love you no one else."

Drea looked at Elwyn’s head who was down like he didn’t dare to see A-Xuan’s reaction. He looked at A-Xuan and was startled when he saw that he was looking at him.

He had a smirk on his face. When Elwyn lifted his head A-Xuan’s eyes turned sad and he was looking down. That motherfucker! He was right he is after his life.

It was only confirmed when he heard A-Xuan say:

"I don’t want to have this kind of conversation while you’re married. Please leave."

Elwyn said determinedly:

"If for us to be together I have to end my marriage then I will."

A-Xuan retorted:

"I only believe what I see. Please leave."

Elwyn stood up and left after he promised:

"You will."

A-Xuan smirked at his leaving back. Do you think I’ll ever be with you? After everything he put the original through does he thinks A-Xuan has any sympathy for him?

After the original fell in love with Elwyn his attitude changed and he became less cold.

Elwyn noticed the changes in him and it didn’t take long for him to see that he was in love with him.

He used his love for him to basically make him play at every party they attended which was at least 4 a week. He was like a monkey playing drums.

He didn’t like that but he still did it because he loved Elwyn and he wanted him to be happy.

Even after Drea came back he let go of Elwyn without saying anything.

While heartbroken he only went to school and spent all his time in the piano room.

Elwyn also knew how important playing the piano was to him but he still felt no remorse or reservations for taking his hands. When the door closed A-Xuan looked at Drea with a smirk.

Drea came out of his hiding place his eyes red. A-Xuan leaned back on the couch and mocked:

"Don’t you have anything better to do than eavesdrop?"

Drea shouted:

"You fuckin asshole, you’ve been after my life since the beginning didn’t you? You stole my husband!"

"First of all, I didn’t steal anything. You’re the one who left whoring yourself out to anyone willing to have you. Do you think I want your sloppy seconds?"

Drea asked furiously:

"If you don’t want him then why did you ask him to divorce me?"

"If I recall correctly I’ve never asked him to do that. He’s the one who offered."

Drea swore:

"I’ll never let you take him away from me."

"Again, I don’t want him. Anyway, I have to go."

A-Xuan got up and Drea stopped in front of him.

"You live such a worthless life that you want mine."

A-Xuan smirked and took a step toward him.

"I’m done living in your shadow."

He left and slammed the door behind him.

Drea looked at the closed door enraged. I can’t believe I never saw how vicious he is.

A-Xuan’s always been living happily in his shadow. He knows how much he hates being around people and anyone even looking at him.

But he clearly liked the way both Elwyn and Kalel looked and fought over him last night. He acts like this pitiful creature when he is a snake.

Father! Father will never agree with that. Drea smiled, he knows how much his father despises him. He left for his father’s office determined.

A-Xuan sat in his father’s office waiting for Lex. Lex came in and sat after closing the door. He looked at A-Xuan wondering why he took the initiative to come see him.

He never set foot in his office before, lately he felt like he was somehow different.

"Father I came to see you to tell you that from now on I’ll stay at Kalel’s house."

Lex knows that Drea is back since he came home last night but he didn’t think that A-Xuan would move so fast.

He wanted to see him today to point at it but here he is telling him that he’s already moving in with Kalel.

He asked:

"Are you two together?"

A-Xuan blushed and murmured:

"We are."

Lex smiled happily. It was a good thing that Drea left or none of this would’ve happened. Now A-Xuan is with Kalel and Drea is married to Elwyn.

Obviously, he prefers A-Xuan and Kalel. First, he can manipulate him as he wishes and second Kalel is basically the strongest and richest man in the country.

With him as a backer, he’ll become the second richest man. He saw the way Kalel looked at A-Xuan and knows he’ll do everything for him.

"You have to do something for me."

A-Xuan asked:

"What?"

"You have to ask Kalel to publicize my new hotel."

A-Xuan smiled and said:

"I’ll tell him, he does everything I ask him to."

Lex smiled looking at his son differently. He likes that A-Xuan is smart enough to keep Kalel on a tight leash. They both looked at the door surprised when someone barged in without knocking.
