A-Xuan went to his new home with Caitian. When they arrived he had already found all his belongings in their home. Very effective.

After checking on those beastmans at the judicial court using CF, he knew that they would invite him in for a discussion at his next protest, tomorrow.

He worked for a few hours and wrote down laws he wants to be enacted. When a maid came to pick him up for dinner, he went to the dining room.

Caitian was at the head of the table, he opened his arms at him and A-Xuan smiled. He walked to him and sat on his lap.

While eating A-Xuan asked:

"Can you do something for me? It’s kind of big and you might gain the hate of a few beastmans. If you can’t I understand."

Caitian looked at him inquiring:

"What do you need me to do?"

"Those pigs at the judicial court are sick of the protest, so tomorrow they’ll invite me in to reach an agreement. They want to enact just one law to calm the fairies and pretend that they’ll make more in the future. They think we’ll be happy thinking it’s a step in the right direction, when in fact this won’t bring any changes. I was wondering if you could attend the sit-in, everyone respects you, and they won’t dare to refuse you. You employ half of the planet, they know better than to mess with you. I was planning on using fairy dust, but it’ll be better if they agree to my terms of their own volition coerced or not."

A-Xuan looked at him intently, he’ll know directly if he truly wants to help or not.

Caitian kissed his cheek.

"Of course, I’ll do anything for you."

A-Xuan smiled and thanked:

"Thank you."

"I’ll give a speech before, I’ll invite a lot of reporters like that it’ll show them that I’m a hundred percent in."

A-Xuan asked:

"Are you sure? I could just give you some fairy dust to appear at a certain point and no one will know after you tell them not to say a word. You’ll garner a lot of hate."

Caitian smiled and kissed him. The kiss was pure sweetness and A-Xuan felt his heartbeat quicken.

To this day he still can’t understand how every shell hosting a soul-flake of his husband, can make him feel each time.

Caitian pulled back declaring:

"I won’t hide. I agree to do this not just because I love you but because everyone should have a choice. I know what it’s like to be forced to do things you don’t want to do, for the longest time I couldn’t choose so I understand that feeling. I’ll stand with them and you proudly."

A-Xuan caressed his cheek.

"Thank you, my love."

When they finished eating Caitian left to make a few phone calls to get as many reporters as possible.

He only had to say he has an announcement to make to peak their interest.

It’s not surprising, Caitian is usually lowkey and you never see scandal regarding him.

So him saying he has an announcement is sure to be something big.

A-Xuan took a shower and got into bed. He feels excited at the idea of being done with Ambrose and this world in general.

Even if he wanted, and said he would slit his throat, he won’t do it until he sees all the real changes he brought to the fairies.

He’ll show him that he is powerful to the point of stopping discrimination against fairies. After Caitian took a shower he joined him in bed.

A-Xuan was on his cellphone waiting for him to decide if he’ll tell him what’s been on his mind.

He knows him by heart, which means he knows he wants to ask him something but he doesn’t dare. He’s pretty sure he knows what.

Caitian looked at A-Xuan playing on his cell phone with apprehension.

He wants them to come out as a couple tomorrow, but he’s worried A-Xuan won’t accept. But that’s the thing he understands if he doesn’t want to, he treated him terribly.

He used him because he couldn’t have Ambrose. He feels incredibly grateful that he loves him as well so maybe he shouldn’t push his luck.

Still, he needs to know so that he’ll put in place some protocols to make sure they won’t be caught if that’s not what he wants.

He called:

"A-Xuan."

A-Xuan put down his cell phone and looked at him.

"What’s wrong?"

Caitian looked down and asked:

"I wanted to know if you want our relationship to be public or not. Like that, I can put in place a few protocols so we won’t get caught."

While Caitian was waiting for him to answer, he felt more anxious than he’d ever felt.

When he felt like the wait was too long, he looked up at A-Xuan.

"Finally you’re looking up. Shouldn’t you look me in the eyes when you ask me a question?"

Caitian swallowed and asked again with difficulty:

"Do you want our relationship to be public?"

"What would you like?"

Caitian feels like this is the worst answer he could’ve given him.

If A-Xuan doesn’t want to go public, doesn’t it make him seem selfish if he says he does? Subsequently, he might be angry about his desire when the relationship started as a business deal.

A-Xuan ordered:

"Tell me honestly what you want. Don’t lie to me unless you don’t want to see me again."

Caitian looked at him intently and then blurted out:

"I want our relationship to be public. I want the whole planet, no the whole galaxy to know you’re mine and I’m yours."

A-Xuan smiled and kissed him. Caitian held onto him tightly and his body relaxed.

A-Xuan pulled back and announced:

"Then, that’s what we’ll do."

Caitian smiled but then stopped and asked unsurely:

"Is this really what you want?"

A-Xuan straddled him and wrapped his arms around his neck.

"When I’m in a relationship I don’t want to hide my partner. I feel like when you do it brings a sense of shame in the relationship. It’s as though you’re not proud to be with the person you’re with. I’m proud to be with you, you’re the only person I’ve ever loved so, of course, I want everyone to know."

Caitian’s eyes moistened and A-Xuan hugged him. He held him back his embrace just as tight. A-Xuan looked down sadly. It would’ve been too easy.

Ambrose was in his studio watching tv. He was released the same day as he was admitted, yesterday. He had a hard time falling asleep even with the potion he was given.

All he could think about all night was killing A-Xuan and seeing Caitian. Ever since yesterday, he felt a shift in his feelings for him.

Caitian was so sweet and thoughtful, and he felt like it would be amazing to have someone like that by his side for the rest of his life.

He smiled at that thought. Furthermore, with how much Caitian loves and worships him he’ll gladly kill A-Xuan for him. Speaking of which.

Ambrose took his cell phone and frowned when he saw that Caitian and A-Xuan were trending and together at that. After checking he changed the channel.

He gaped at the sight, Caitian was on stage. In his left hand, he held a microphone, and the other A-Xuan’s hand.

Why would he attend his protest when he is angry at him? After Caitian made a speech for the equality of fairies, he gave a peck to A-Xuan.

Ambrose threw his cell phone against the tv. Every word out of his mouth yesterday was a lie.

He doesn’t just fuck A-Xuan he loves him, the way Caitian was looking at him on stage made it clear for all looking at them whether at home or the protest.

All the races watched live the protest and could see that Caitian wasn’t just fighting for fairies’ rights just because of A-Xuan but also because of his difficult childhood.

They could tell he truly believed in everyone’s right to choose instead of someone imposing his will on them. Of course, no one would want to live like that.

8 beastmen judges were sitting around a table in their conference room.

They all seemed panicked as they looked at the tv transmitting live what was happening just outside their judicial court.

The head of the judicial branch Eythor was standing, he looked at the tv until he couldn’t anymore.

He turned it off and called his assistant. When she came in he ordered:

"Call in A-Xuan and Caitian."

She nodded and left. One of the judges asked him:

"Eythor what have you decided?"

He answered angrily:

"What do you think? Do you think we have a choice with Caitian by his side? He employs half of the planet, he is the economy. Losing him would result in the end of Zephyr. I spoke to the president, he said to do what it takes to keep him as an ally."

The judges nodded knowing they have no choice, they all think the same.

Caitian gives a lot of money to the government, which helps Zephyr in ways that can’t be ignored.

They all looked uneasily at the door when A-Xuan entered holding Caitian’s hand. They both sat down with a smirk and looked at Eythor.
