The tropical exhibit area mostly featured brightly colored fish, which was why they were the most common aquarium fish on the market. Adele admired them in amazement, and she soon spotted clownfish playfully darting up and down in the aquarium.

In fact, they were the only fish she recognized. These fish, with their naturally striped patterns, were well-known due to movies.

“They’re so small, about the length of my finger.”

But those lizards and snakes weren’t as terrifying as imagined. At least from Adele’s perspective, they were like wooden carvings or stone statues, staying in one place, on a log or a rock, unmoving. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺

Whenever a lizard moved or a snake flicked its tongue, it would instantly cause a wave of excitement among the onlookers. They also displayed quite a magnificent appearance due °• N 𝑜 v 𝑒 l i g h t •° to their different colored scales and patterns.

If First Snow hadn’t fluffed up at the sight of the long snakes, clutching Adele’s arm and begging her to leave the exhibit quickly, Adele might have lingered a while longer, maybe even experiencing handling a reptile. She had her eye on a docile little golden python for a while! And it seemed that keeping such a reptile wasn’t too troublesome...

But since First Snow didn’t like it, she gave up the idea.

Leaving the tropical exhibit area, Adele headed straight for the seal performance area. She liked these lazy creatures, especially the baby seals, soft, fluffy, and white, utterly adorable. And she really wanted to pat their bellies! Pat, pat, pat!

The way to solve this puzzle was simple: turn around and respond to the owner of the voice. And that’s exactly what Adele did.

She turned and saw, on a quiet platform outside the crowd, a well-dressed, elegant woman with long hair, wearing a mask and sunglasses, raising a slender hand, gently waving at Adele. The woman then stood there, arms crossed, as if certain that she didn’t need to move, and Adele would come to her.

To be honest, this woman was rather arrogant! But unexpectedly, the moment Adele saw her, she froze. Then, without hesitation, she walked towards her.

But halfway there, she seemed to remember something, quickly returning to Xiao Ai and First Snow, who looked surprised, and said, “Xiao Ai, First Snow, I... ran into someone I know from work. I’ll go say hello!”

“You two stay here and watch the adorable little sn-... ahem, seals! Wait for me, okay?”
