The dragon's harem
Chapter 2061: Coming With Peace
"Too much malice." The goddess of the peace lifted her head, and looked toward Merida as everyone beside Isdis and her maids gasped for air, unable to withstand Merida’s raw demonic presence. One of the angels accompanying the goddess growled, and gave Merida a sharp glare, only have her head roll on the ground in the next second.
"Merida! Don’t attack them!" Isdis cried as she saw one of the angels already in two pieces, yet Merida didn’t seem to care. "This woman didn’t come here to ask questions; she came to start trouble." 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚
The goddess sighed. "I am the divine goddess of peace. I came here to ensure it, not disrupt it. There is no way I would’ve come here to start problems; it isn’t in my nature." She then looked at Merida with a smile. "So, won’t you mind sitting down and talking with me, Demon Lord. I can overlook beheading one of my angels?"
Merida’s cold glare never faded, and in the next moment, the remaining angels with the goddess were all beheaded. "Let’s skip the tricks and bullshit. Amaterasu and Kali warned you about coming here, and you ignored their warnings."
Merida took a single step forward, her toes dug into the ground, and her blade flashed toward the goddess’s neck like a lighting bolt, only for the divine woman to catch it with her hand. "You can’t beat me, demon."
"Merida! Stop it! We can’t start a fight here!" Isdis growled at her, and Merida finally looked back. "This woman had come here to investigate why Arad could use eldritch magic. All she needs is one lead to declare this entire place a den for abominations and try to erase us in the name of universal peace."
Peace is never free and always comes marred in blood and corpses. All divines are dualities, bearing both the bright and dark sides of their power, and the goddess of peace was no stranger to that fact.
This woman might represent peace, but she also represents everything that comes with or before it. Whether she came here because of what happened after Arad’s fight with Eris, or because of his eldritch magic, to Merida, that didn’t matter.
"You aren’t welcome here, and we won’t be playing your games. You either leave or die." Merida let go of her sword and swung her fist, punching the goddess to the corner of the room. Isdis sighed and stood. "I wanted this to end in a civil manner, but it seems that was a hard ask."
She then glared toward the goddess. "Goddess Eirene, please leave and never come back unless Kali allows you. Otherwise, we’ll have to remove you by force."
Hearing that, Eirene stood, looked at them for a moment, and sighed. "You seem to be misunderstanding my motives... but fine. I’ll leave and come back later with Kali’s approval." She gave them a bow, and all the corpses of her angels disappeared, but before she could fade into golden sparks, Merida stabbed her in the shoulder.
"Here in the quarter, you play by our rules." She growled at her, and the goddess smiled as she faded away.
Merida stored her sword, sighed, and was about to leave the room when Isdis called her. "Why did you attack her? You know how powerful a goddess is. She could’ve caused a disaster here."
"I know." Merida replied and then gave Isdis a sharp glare. "But Kali said she can’t come, and yet she came. That is a clear threat, and you should’ve reacted violently from the start. You don’t just go and ignore the orders of the Divine Goddess of Demons and Destruction; this woman had a goal."
Isdis frantically scratched her head. "I know she is a threat, but we can’t just start a fight with a goddess without any defences. If she were to go berserk here, many of the maids would die. What do you expect me to do when she showed up at the door?"
"I expect you to call me, and I’ll bring the entire demonic armies of the abyss with me." Merida sighed as she tapped Isdis on the shoulder. "I’m not angry at you. It is just that... you can’t sense them."
"Sense what?" Isdis lifted an eyebrow, and Merida smiled.
"The subtle aggressive moves that people make. That woman might represent peace, but she is here for war. Next time, it is an attack-on-sight. We lose the moment we start playing into her hand." She then walked toward the door, "Get everyone into high alert. Our enemy is the Goddess of Peace, if she dares to come back here."
Merida left the room, and Isdis quickly sent a message to Rey and Ray. "How is Arad doing?"
^Ah!... Ah! Ah!^
"Rey! Snap out of it. How is he doing?" As Isdis growled for the second time, she finally got a clear answer.
^He is doing well and having a bit of fun with Linda.^ As Rey replied, Isdis got another message from Ray, ^A bit of fun is underselling it. He is relaxed in the pool, using his fingers on sister and me, Gamond is getting licked, and Linda is bouncing violently on him. Even Luminous is helping below.^
"Good, make sure she stays there. Get her dragged in and make sure he drinks her blood as well. The more powerful the blood he drinks, the faster he’ll recover and the stronger he will get." Isdis looked at several papers that were on her desk. "Luminous said she would help, but I’m not certain about her motives yet, so be careful."
^What did that goddess want?^ Rey asked with a worried voice, and Isdis sat down. "Like I know, Merida stormed in and kicked her out before I could find out."
^Then next time, she comes into the private quarter, reject her unless she stays naked inside, and have her drink the piss of one of the maids. Call them rules and see how she reacts. If she takes the offer, then she really believes that her goal is valid, which could be bad for us.^
"Do we have to go that far? Kali would be back soon, and she won’t be able to harm us." Isdis replied, and Rey sighed. ^She would only attack when we don’t have protection. I bet you she would’ve never shown up if Arad was there. I’ll call you later when we finish feeding Arad. Take care.^
Isdis sighed, holding her head. "This is too much to deal with."
Back in the pool, Arad looked at Rey and Ray. "So, that goddess came to cause trouble?"
"Yeah, more likely, she wants to claim that you’re an abomination then get the gods to slay you as a threat. Since she is the goddess of peace, her words are well respected." Rey replied, and Ray leaned on Arad’s shoulder, putting her head right beneath Gamond’s thighs. "But Yog doesn’t like her; she calls her a sneaky viper."
Gamond pushed on the ground with her legs and pulled her large butt away from Arad’s face, leaving a trail of clear liquid as she fell back. "You’re... getting better at it each time." She gasped for air and then leaned down to give him a kiss. "I really want to keep this going, but we’d better get Linda done so I can have my turn."
As their lips slowly parted, Linda came crashing down, pushed Gamond back, and locked lips with him instead.
