 Shina confusedly looked at Dhein when he also was about to fight. It would take about ten soldiers working together to take down one low ranking demon, and as someone who was powerless, she didn’t see how he was planning to defeat a horde of them.
 He obviously wasn’t going to let the fallen god take their lives.
 Since the time that Dhein discovered he could use sorcery, he practiced the only real power he had gained tirelessly until he mastered it down to the tiniest detail. He eventually found the difference between chanting and imagining the flow of dark magic in reality, and was able to cast the spells without incantations, wands or staff.
 He also noticed that his magical output was exceptionally greater compared to the likes of Krushe and Parro, but to be fair, they had special skills that only they could use. That puts Dhein below them still.
 However, Dhein was so used to surviving impossible situations without any powers, so gaining just this basic sorcery was more than enough for him to defeat these demons.
 He smirked when one demon lunged at him. Extending his hand forward, he shot a powerful void cannon and put a giant gaping hole on the demon’s body before it fell.
 The next ones came and they each received abyssal spears to the skull. After a while, the demons were already hesitating whether to continue their attack or just leave.
 While the demons were backing up, Dhein glanced at shina with a confident smirk.
 She surprisedly asked:
 "Back in the castle... you were able to use dark magic?"
 Dhein scratched the back of his head. He answered.
 "For some reason yes."

 </div> He gasped when Shina suddenly dashed forward and stabbed a demon sneaking up behind him.
 That was when Dhein decided to finish them all.
 Even the ones that were running away didn’t survive the flurry of void cannons constantly being shot at them. They tried to hide behind the trees but the thick trunks were not able to protect them from the abyssal spears that just went through the solid tree and pierced their targets.
 Dhein dusted off his shoulders.
 "That was impressive," Shina uttered.
 While Dhein was getting back on the carriage to drive it, be spoke.
 "Still, I can’t let anyone know that I can use demonic powers. As the heir to the Divinity Clan, I am known to possess the power of the gods. It would be strange for someone like me to be able to cast sorcery spells."
 Shina and Remi got on the carriage.
 "That’s true..." she replied.
 "In other words, you can’t use sorcery to solve problems unless no one’s looking."
 Dhein responded without taking his eyes off the road.
 "Precisely. I’m still going to need to lie."
 Then, he partially turned his head to glance at her and added:
 "But for now, you can leave everything to me."
 The horse’s clacking hooves and the creaking wheels accompanied their chatter amidst the silence. More hours had passed and Dhein knew they were getting closer to the border.
 Before they decided to return to Olcour, Dhein and Shina agreed that they would have to keep everything the oracle revealed to them a secret. It seemed like Oneirah, or Shina’s past self was indeed being locked up somehow, somewhere in the human continent.
 Dhein’s best guess was Silver Cloud’s faction. The mysterious man mentioned something about conquering the heavens when they were planning to capture Shina. In retrospect, Dhein was able to grasp the situation a bit better now.
 That was the first thing Dhein wanted to do as soon as he got back home: Interrogate Raymond and Silver Cloud. Questions about Shina’s real identity will be answered if that operation would be successful.
 But that said, Dhein couldn’t help but suspect his whole clan all over again. Did Raymond and his secret organization somehow managed to imprison a god with the goal to conquer Celestia?
 There was also the question about him being a "heavenly lord" according to the oracle. Did he also have a past life just like Shina did? Were the two of them just reincarnations of their original selves?
 Whatever the case was, something happened that drove him to give his soul to the goddess of dreams. The oracle also mentioned that Oneirah wanted to save the demonkind.
 Dhein fell silent, pondering about these questions while driving the carriage.
 And then suddenly, he heard Shina suddenly scream in pain behind him.
 He immediately stopped the carriage and turned to her. The way she writhed in pain reminded him of the moment she gained "Memories" on their wedding day.
 Dhein jumped into the carriage and held Shina by the shoulders. After a couple more seconds, she finally calmed down.
 He looked at her anxiously and asked:
 "Memories?"
 She looked at his eyes before nodding.

 </div> Dhein’s eyebrows furrowed.
 "A meteor?"
 Shina looked down.
 "I don’t know why I did that. Or more accurately, I don’t remember," she uttered.
 Dhein stared into nothingness as a childhood memory suddenly popped up in his mind... Nine years ago, a meteor saved him and Zarria from being killed by demons.
 ’Was she the one behind that?!’
 But there was still now proof for now. All he could do was wait for Shina to gain more memories to confirm his hypothesis that Oneirah was the reason behind his great luck...
 With that, they resumed their journey northward.
 The pace at which they were going would take them to the border in a few more hours. Once they reached the border, Dhein would simply order the guards to open the barrier separating the demonic and human continent.
 He would have escorts safely take Shina back to the capital where she would perform an investigation of her own. They both agreed that until they had solved all of the mysteries surrounding them, their wedding would have to wait. And besides, Dhein didn’t want to go through the most important and intimate part of his life with a fallen god being able to listen all the time. He also had to find a way to get rid of Cyreth eventually.
 As to how to do that, Dhein had to get his soul back first.
 The next several minutes were filled with silence as no one felt like talking. If Dhein wasn’t thinking about so many things at the moment, he would have felt the need to fix the awkwardness. Shina probably had a lot on her mind too.
 They finally exited the forest and were now traveling through a grassy plains. As they got closer to their destination, a strange feeling of nervousness rose in Dhein’s heart.
 It had only been less than a month since he was teleported, but it felt like a really long time to him.
 As they wheels rolled on the path, something caught Dhein’s attention.
 Beyond the grassy hills in the horizon, some figures were starting to emerge.
 "What is that?" he mumbled.
 He felt Shina shift from the carriage and crawl to the front to look at what was ahead of them.
 "Are those demons?" she whispered.
 Dhein slowed down the carriage and tried to sharpen his vision. The figures only appeared as silhouettes in the darkening path.
 "I don’t know..." he replied.
 Depending on who these people were, Dhein would have to turn back and retreat.
 It seemed like the unknown figures coming from the north spotted them too. They bagan to speed up and wave their hands as if trying to get Dhein’s attention.
 ’Pretty sure only humans do that...’
 He looked at Shina and said:
 "I think those are humans."
 She replied.
 "But why are they in the demonic continent?"
 Dhein turned to the approaching figures and when they fully emerged on top of the hills, he saw that they were riding horse.
 Something was wrong.

 According to Shina, the people back in Olcour were thinking that everything that had happened was according to his plan including him being teleported to Sekhtar. That was why these humans right now were so confident about stepping into the demonic continent.
 They must have an important message they must deliver specifically for Dhein himself.
 After a few minutes, they finally were near enough to each other to recognize who they were meeting with. And Dhein’s eyes widened in shock.
 It was Amelia, his mother’s assistant. And with her were a few butlers and clan guards.
 "Master Dheinyrus, it’s really you!" she cried.
 They stopped beside each other and the members of Divinity Clan were shocked to see who was riding Dhein’s carriage.
 "And Princess Shina?!"
 Dhein diverted their attention when he asked:
 "Why are you guys here in the demonic continent?"
 Amelia lingered for a moment before shifting her focus on Dhein. She then spoke.
 "Master, we have come to ask for your help. We know that you have a mission here in Sekhtar, but Angelus has escaped from his imprisonment. And before he vanished, be released cursed beings from the spirit realm and revived the titans in Callex!"</div>
