Then the seer said, "Since the quality of the Life Fire can’t be increased and the quality of the Life Fire will only reduce with each reincarnation, the Life Fire that the divine being makes on their first attempt is usually the highest quality that they can ever achieve." 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮

"The only way I know to increase the quality of the Life Fire after a reincarnation is to increase the size of the Energy Well far more than the increase in talent gained from being the reincarnation of a divine being."

"The reincarnations of divine beings do this by either fusing their Power Core with the heart of a dragon or the heart of a world. Even then, these miscellaneous requirements should always be treated seriously by first-time ascenders."

Loki nodded in understanding while he thought long and hard about what he just learned. He was thinking when he suddenly remembered something to him.

What he remembered made him chuckle as he say, "I know someone who wants to steal the living heart of the small world that will be used as a Heavenly Battlefield. He is a friend of mine. Is his plan feasible?"

The seer thought about the question for a long time before saying, "That plan can only succeed if the person who wants to execute it is a divine being and a strong one at that. This is because there are usually at least five divine beings stationed at the Heavenly Battlefield to prevent someone from doing something like that."

"Stealing the world’s heart should be easy, but getting away with it will be very difficult. This is because even if the thief is stronger than all five divine beings in charge of protecting the world, fighting all five of them at once will consume an exorbitant amount of divine energy or lifespan."

"By the time they defeat the five divine beings, the lifespan that will be gained from the small world might not be worth the trouble at the end of the day. Then there is the fact that even if they defeat the five divine beings, there are still many other divine beings from the five sects."

"In summary, I will not recommend trying to take the living heart of the small world. After all, success means endless trouble while failure means death."

Loki smiled and said, "I will tell my friend what you recommended. I’m sure that he will be grateful for your advice."

Then he said, "I have another friend who is planning to steal a Supreme Metac for himself. What do you think he should do to ensure his success?"

The seer’s eye twitched before he said, "I don’t think that is possible at all. At the very least, that friend of yours should be another Dao Lord before he attempts to steal a Supreme Metac."

Loki said noncommittally, "Oh. Is that so? Why would he need to be that powerful? What if the Supreme Metac is just lying there by the side of the road and he doesn’t need to fight anyone for it?"

The seer still shook his head and said, "I don’t know much about rank 9, but I know that a Supreme Metac isn’t some helpless object. Even a Divine Position can’t be taken by anyone simply because it is lying there by the side of the road. So I don’t think a Supreme Metac will be easy to take."

He made good points, so Loki nodded and said, "Fair enough. I will tell him what you said."

Then he chuckled as he said, "I guess he will be disappointed to hear this. After all, he will have to wait a long while before he can dream about stealing a Supreme Metac."

As he said this, he racked his brain for more questions that he wanted answered. But no matter how he racked his head, he couldn’t come up with something that he wanted to know right now.

So he shrugged and said to himself, ’He isn’t going anywhere, anyway. He will always be here, so I can come and find him when I have something to ask.’

He quickly made up his mind about what to do. Then he summoned his Mental World through the Mind Node.

The seer sensed the danger and wanted to escape, but Loki calmed him down by saying, "Don’t worry. Everything is alright. I will take care of you."

He used the power of the Hypnotize Metac, so the seer relaxed. The seer even nodded in agreement and said, "Everything is alright."

He was thoroughly convinced that everything was fine, so he didn’t resist or try to escape as a black blanket shrouded his whole Mental World. Then the black blanket shrank his Mental World and left with it.

In the small world where the seer was, his body slumped, and his eyes dimmed. He had died just like that without any apparent injury.

This won’t be the first time he has died, but his death is very different this time. This time around, his death isn’t the process of shedding his body and attaching his mind to another body. His death is complete in both body and mind.

Loki didn’t allow him to activate his Knowledge Network Life Ability to copy his mind and run away with it, so his days of cutting off his body like a lizard cutting off its tail in a bid to avoid death are over.

In the shop in the central market, the attendants had slumped to the ground ever since the seer deactivated the eye in their mind. They were still alive, but their mind had become crippled.

In order to put them out of their misery, Loki killed them. He would have liked to kill every attendant in all of the cities of the Central Domain just to be sure that the seer couldn’t escape death, but he couldn’t do that and had to be content with ensuring the death of only the attendants in this shop.
