Chapter 598: Double Trouble.

He was taunting Ant Hill in hopes that she would decide to fight the dragon on her own in order to prove him wrong and establish her strength. Unfortunately for him, Ant Hill didn’t rise to the occasion. She chose to continue to ignore him.

This made him smile and say, "So boring."

Just as he was about to say something to insult her, he saw something that made his eyes widen. He saw two dragons coming straight towards the two of them.

His eyes widened, and he said, "Something is wrong. Something is very wrong."

Ant Hill still continued to ignore him, but he didn’t care about this right now. He had a larger perception range than hers, so she hadn’t seen what he saw. She was still oblivious to the incoming danger, and he didn’t intend to inform her of it.

He turned around and ran away immediately. It was now that she noticed something out of place.

The size of her Cave Heaven was 123 million square kilometers, so her range of perception was 11,090 kilometers. His range of perception is 12,083 kilometers, so he has an advantage of 993 kilometers over her.

This meant that she saw it clearly when Loki, who was beside her, turned around to run. But she didn’t notice the dragons. So even though Loki turned around to run, she didn’t think the dragons were the problem. She thought he was the problematic one.

She frowned at him and said, "What are you doing now?"

Loki ignored her and instead sent a message to Money Body saying, "What is going on here? There are two dragons? Didn’t you see them? Why didn’t you inform us?"

He sent a barrage of questions to the money cultivator with a tone full of anger and accusation. It was clear that the situation was serious for him.

However, instead of answering his questions, Money Body only said, "Watch your tone when you speak with me, boy."

But Loki refused to cower. He said, "Fuck you. You had one job, and you messed it up, so I can talk to you however I want."

His words made Money Body chuckle and say, "You’re wrong. I didn’t mess up. I have made no mistakes. Whatever is happening is exactly what I wanted to happen."

Loki shot back, saying, "Are you senile? There is supposed to be one dragon here, but there are two? What nonsense are you saying?"

He already had a faint suspicion about what was going on. But he would like to believe that this was all one big misunderstanding or mistake.

But when Money Body began to laugh, he knew he couldn’t believe what he wanted to believe. He knew that he had to believe the reality of the situation, which was that Money Body saw two dragons coming but refused to tell them about it and instead let them encounter the two dragons.

Then he heard Money Body say, "Good luck. If you survive, I will let you join the Thorn House of Commerce without many problems."

Loki ignored his promise and instead urged him, saying, "So the plan has changed. At least, tell me what the new plan is. Let us know what we are doing here."

He desperately wanted to know what exactly was going on. Unfortunately for him, Money Body had no intention of indulging him.

Money Body sneered and said, "You are just a pawn. You don’t have the right to know what my true plans are. You are only fit to be sacrificed."

After saying this, he cut Loki off. He didn’t respond, no matter what Loki said to him. This made Loki realize that Money Body was doing something that he didn’t believe Loki would survive.

Just as this understanding dawned on him, he ran headfirst into a wall. He had been moving at a very high speed to escape the unfortunate predicament, so the collision with the wall was one that happened with the full force of his power.

The wall was invisible as it was only made of force and energy, not matter. He had seen it appear, though. But it appeared too fast and right in his face for him to stop.

The wall smashed his head and pressed it into his torso. The resulting collision caused the water around him to expand and explode with a terrifying popping sound that stunned every creature around him.

The pop sound was carried away from him as a shockwave in the ocean. This shockwave was also carrying heat that had raised its temperature to that of the surface of the sun. So everything the shockwave washed over was also flash-burned.

All pc these made it so that as his head smashed into the wall, a spark was ignited underwater. That spark spread outward as a flash of light and heat that stunned everything it passed by and burned them with 5,000 degrees Celsius of heated air.

Loki, who was the origin of the shockwave, managed to recover from the collision. He healed his injuries and was soon whole, but everyone else the shockwave swept over wasn’t so lucky.

Of course, Loki didn’t care about these unfortunate few who had been caught as collateral damage. He noticed them clearly through his Insight Stat, but all of his focus was on the invisible wall right now.

He stopped where he was and strained his perception to catch how big the wall was. What he sensed was that the wall was ten thousand kilometers across and was curved.

The curve was turned against Loki and Ant Hill in the direction of the two dragons. He thought that this was weird, but when he sensed the intent within the wall, he understood who had made the wall and why they had made the wall.

He sensed the will of Oceania in the wall, saying, "Stay. Stay and die."

Ant Hill also sensed this intent. Plus, the two dragons had entered her range of perception. So everything was clicking into place.
