"Use this." Xin Yibin looked at Si Ruoran, whose hands were covered in oil, and handed over the spoon in his hand with a bit of helplessness, "You can soak the fried dough sticks until they’re soft and use this. With your hands so greasy, don’t you feel uncomfortable?"

Breakfast passed in this cheerful atmosphere and when they went back to class, the first period was Chinese, during which Si Ruoran felt a bit drowsy.

The second period was English, also taught by the homeroom teacher.

The students sensed something was amiss and perked up to watch him, being very compliant.

Upon hearing this, more than half of the class felt elated, yet unsure of what happened, they were curious and excited.

Si Ruoran sat upright at her desk, exchanged a playful glance with Li Xiao across the room, both with mischievous smiles in their eyes.

"Students, at Jiangcheng Academy, we have always aspired to pursue knowledge and explore truth, but when teachers see things that don’t belong on our campus, they can’t help but feel distressed, even angry. Naturally, students come to school for the purpose of learning, but today I must stand up and criticize certain students because I can’t bear to let our campus become a place that harbors filth and corruption."

As the homeroom teacher began speaking, those below the podium felt a bit uneasy, unclear about what exactly had transpired.

The teacher’s beautiful eyes scanned the entire class, and without Si Ruoran noticing, she intentionally glanced at her.

"Student Si Ruoran, Student Li Xiao, Student Chen Jing, Student Zhang Jia, please stand up for a moment."

Being publicly named, Si Ruoran was bewildered. Li Xiao was even more puzzled, looking at the teacher in confusion, thinking, all the dorm mates have been called together today?

But, it didn’t seem like they had done anything.

Even if something happened, it was just the dorm having a conflict yesterday.

Having a conflict shouldn’t lead to public criticism like this, right?

The whole class below murmured amongst themselves, seemingly finding it strange as well.
