First, he redeemed the random Rank A skill book. A faint glow filled the room as a card materialized in his hands.

When Ethan tore open the card, the glow intensified, and in the next moment, a skill book appeared between his fingers.

The pendant would prove extremely useful, especially since the magic converted directly, allowing even Aura users to wield it.

For most of his wives, and for himself, the artifact offered little practical value. But for the maids who took care of the mansion? It would be a true godsend.

After all, none of them had mastered any combat techniques. Even after learning a little from Evelyn, it was clear to any observer that those girls hadn’t been born for combat.

The more delicate combat style of a shadow assassin would suit them much better. However, what really mattered were the detection and area-scan spells.

If they could use them with aura instead of mana, it would be wonderful.

Letting out a contented sigh, he stood up and walked toward his room.

Of the more than five thousand people in Goldenveil, one hundred thirty-four were elves and twenty-three were dwarves.

Their share of the population was small, but their racial abilities, such as ironworking and nature magic, had already proven quite useful to the domain.

Once winter passed, Ethan planned to find a way to build a divine forge and plant the Tree of Life, further expanding the number of races in Goldenveil.

As for the other races beyond the three currently present, he preferred not to think too much about that. Not yet.

He glanced once more at the number of gacha tickets he had, but by the time he reached his room, exhaustion had already caught up with him, and he decided to sleep first.

Eyes closed, the two beauties slept naked, wrapped in each other’s arms.

Although the mansion’s heating system kept the air far warmer than the world outside, the room still carried a faint chill.

Without their husband nearby, the women could only count on each other for warmth.

Ethan let out a soft sigh, approached the bed, and let his clothes drop to the floor before slipping beneath the covers.

Sensing their husband’s presence, the two stirred sleepily and soon surrounded him on either side.

With their boobs squashed against his ribs, the soft flesh molding to the shape of his body, the two beauties rested their heads on his powerful biceps like pillows, snuggling in deeper to share the warmth of three bodies beneath the thick blanket.

"Where have you been?" Alice asked, her voice sweet and groggy as she rubbed her sleepy face against Ethan’s chest.

"Hm... probably with some other woman, hehe~ the husband likes that..." Evelyn murmured from the other side, so drowsy she sounded as if she were talking in her sleep.

Ethan couldn’t help but let out a stifled, slightly embarrassed chuckle. "Her name is Ophelia, a spy sent by Whitefall. But I’ve already tamed her... You two will meet her tomorrow."

"T-tamed her?" Alice’s face flushed intensely, the heat rising all the way to the tips of her ears.

"I knew it, fufu~~" Evelyn’s lips curved into a lazy smile as she playfully nibbled on Ethan’s chest.

Luckily for him, neither stayed awake much longer, and soon enough, sleep claimed both of them.

Ethan let himself drift off as well, eager for what the next day would bring.
