Near Janis’s house.

Before Ling Feng arrived, he had already discovered through his Divine Sense several hidden sentinels around this area.

Some were hiding in cars, while others were inside Janis’s house.

Ling Feng didn’t know whether this guy had always been so security-conscious or if he had increased his manpower only after the Restarters incident.

But regardless, this guy certainly seemed guilty!

If he truly hadn’t done anything wrong, why would he need so many security personnel to protect himself?

With a cold sneer, Ling Feng ignored those sentinels, activated his Invisibility Ring, and headed straight for Janis’s house.

Forcing the door wouldn’t work, as it would expose his intrusion, so Ling Feng used his Divine Sense to scan and inspect the entire house.

Unfortunately, the house was heavily guarded with no accessible entry points.

Unless the door was opened from the inside.

Upon realizing this, Ling Feng turned to Little Fei in the Jade Token Space and said, "I need your help now!"

Little Fei couldn’t speak but responded through Tian Lian.

Soon, it gathered the surrounding insects, which crawled through the cracks of Janis’s house from the door.

This house could keep people out, but it wasn’t completely airtight, so ants, caterpillars, and similar insects easily entered through the cracks in doors and windows.

Ling Feng was outside the balcony door, and as numerous insects climbed onto the handle, the added weight gradually caused the handle to lower.

Once the weight was sufficient, the handle was fully lowered, and the balcony door clicked open!

Ling Feng curled his lips into a smile, slipped inside the house, causing the insects to scatter and disappear in no time.

The room was pitch dark, yet with Divine Sense, Ling Feng could clearly see the surroundings.

This was Janis and his wife’s bedroom, with the two of them still sleeping soundly on the bed.

Seemingly trusting the capability of the security personnel, they were deeply asleep, not sensing someone had already entered the room.

To be cautious, Ling Feng moved closer, reaching out to press Janis’s acupoint, then proceeded to the other side to lift the blanket and press his wife’s acupoint as well.

Upon lifting the blanket, he was taken aback!

The woman wasn’t wearing anything!

Ling Feng rolled his eyes, thinking he hadn’t anticipated that the wife of the commerce minister preferred sleeping nude!

The woman, around thirty years old, looked quite beautiful, yet was oblivious in her sleep that she had been fully exposed.

Ling Feng wasn’t interested in her, glanced twice, felt a jolt of sensation, and quickly pressed her acupoint before covering her back up with the blanket.

Next, he summoned Ah Min, saying in a low voice, "They’re deep asleep and definitely won’t wake up. You can start now!"

"Okay!"

Ah Min nodded, took Ling Feng’s offered smartphone and tablet.

Installing the software wasn’t complicated, and as a seasoned hacker, Ah Min took only a dozen minutes to successfully install undetectable monitoring software on Janis’s personal electronic devices!

Afterwards, Ah Min gestured an OK sign to Ling Feng.

With the task complete, Ling Feng didn’t hurry to leave. Instead, he told her, "You go back to the Jade Token Space first, I’ll stay here until dawn!"

"Okay!"

Understanding her inconvenience staying there, Ah Min nodded immediately.

Later, Ling Feng activated the Invisibility Ring, came to the bedside, and unlocked Janis and his wife’s acupoints.

The two were still in dreamland, unaware of anything.

As time slowly passed, daylight began to break outside.

Sitting quietly at a corner of the room, Ling Feng waited patiently.

By six o’clock, Janis awoke, got up to dress, and started his morning routine while Ling Feng watched from the side.

He hadn’t predicted that this person was quite diligent, getting up early like this.

Janis’s wife followed suit, waking up at seven, which gave Ling Feng another opportunity to admire her figure as she dressed and washed up until both were neat and ready, finally leaving together.

Outside, a car awaited, the couple boarded and left, leaving Janis’s house empty.

Though external sentinels remained, at least two stayed in the car, continually observing the premises.

Uninterested in those two, Ling Feng headed straight to the adjacent study.

After Janis’s morning routine, he briefly worked in the study. Ling Feng noted the password entered when he opened the safe, allowing him to easily open the safe and retrieve the documents inside upon arriving.

Since all texts were in French, which he couldn’t understand, Ling Feng resorted to photographing them one by one with his phone.

Once all documents were photographed, Ling Feng checked the safe again, discovering a black box inside, which he picked up.

Opening it revealed a silver-white badge.

The strange pattern depicted an eagle clutching a snake; Ling Feng didn’t understand the symbolism, yet he photographed it nonetheless.

With everything restored to its original state, Ling Feng closed the safe and quietly exited Janis’s house.

Then he returned to the adjacent apartment where Cid resided, bringing Ah Min out.

"Our task now is monitoring Janis. We don’t have much time, I hope within two or three days we’ll have results!" Ling Feng stated.

"Okay!"

Ah Min nodded, immediately took out the equipment and set it on the table.

Ling Feng remained busy as well, transmitting the photos he took back to Lingyun Island, tasking Gu Li with finding someone for translation.

Time passed quickly, and before long, it was eleven in the morning.

Ling Feng remained silently seated as Ah Min looked up, "Boss, Janis received a string of code on his phone, then he left downstairs!"

"Oh?"

Ling Feng moved to her side, "What does the code mean?"

"I don’t know, evidently some kind of cryptic text, understood only by those who know how to decrypt it!"

Ah Min commented, continuing, "The meaning isn’t vital, but judging by his hurried demeanor, he seems headed somewhere important. We’ll find out following his path later!"

"Alright!"

Ling Feng nodded, joining her in monitoring the screen.

Soon, they observed Janis’s location represented by a red dot moving fast.

The pace clearly indicated travel by car, and not at a slow speed!

Ten minutes later, Ah Min turned, "Boss, it seems he’s heading home."

"Oh?"

Ling Feng smiled, "That adds an interesting twist!"

He said, expanding his Divine Sense to monitor Janis’s actions.

Indeed, Janis returned home. At the door, he instructed the driver and bodyguards to await in the car while he rushed inside, heading straight to the study!

Then Ling Feng witnessed him opening the safe, retrieving the documents and setting them aflame!
