The three of them were speechless for a while before they remembered. This guy had once devoured half of the Wang Family’s business, clearly there was conflict between them, so being at the top of the blacklist is understandable.

"Also, I have another question. The incidents that happened at Qiansimei these past few days, was that your doing?" Lin Tian asked.

Li Shan immediately said, "This really has nothing much to do with us. That explosion was caused by Bai Shishi’s cousin, Bai Yu. Honestly, if it weren’t for that useless woman, Qiansimei would already have fallen like a house of cards."

Lin Tian glanced at him and asked, "You know so much detail, yet you say it has nothing to do with you. Do you think I would believe that?"

After Lin Tian returned, Li Shan and the others immediately arranged for the police to withdraw their control over Lin Tian, so he wasn’t technically breaking out of jail.

On his way back, Lin Tian glanced at his phone. There were many missed calls and messages, all asking about his situation.

Lin Tian sent a group text telling everyone he was fine and not to worry.

As soon as the message was sent, Liou Qingcheng’s call came in.

Lin Tian smiled knowingly, then answered the call, "Hello, did you get my message? Don’t worry, I’m fine."

"It’s good that you’re okay. I was so worried. Luckily you came back early, or after twenty-four hours, my mom would’ve brought a lawyer to the police station to get you out."

Lin Tian smiled wryly, "Why get a lawyer? That’s not necessary, right?"

"Not necessary? You don’t know, yesterday my parents tried every connection to find out about your situation and got nothing! My parents couldn’t find anything! Isn’t that serious enough?" Liou Qingcheng emphasized her words, clearly very anxious.

"Don’t worry, your husband has a guardian angel. Whatever I encounter, things will turn out well. The police can’t touch me. I even told them I beat up a cop while inside."

"Mr. Bai... she isn’t in a good mood."

Lin Tian was taken aback, then chuckled, "I’ve been released, so why the bad mood?"

"It seems her mood worsened after your release..."

"Why?" Lin Tian was genuinely curious.

"I’m not sure. However, Mr. Bai sought many connections yesterday to try and get you out early, but in the end, it didn’t lead anywhere."

"Got it, thanks."

"No problem, if I can help you, that’s great." Mrs. Li replied before returning to her office with a stack of documents.

Lin Tian walked to Bai Shishi’s office and knocked twice. After hearing ’come in’, he opened the door and entered.

Bai Shishi was seated at her desk, not looking up from her computer, typing furiously.

Lin Tian wore his best bright smile, "Shishi, I’m back."

"I know," Bai Shishi replied without turning her head.

If Lin Tian couldn’t see she had a bit of a sulk from this, he’d be a fool.

He chuckled and shamelessly stood behind Bai Shishi, seeing on her screen that she was playing a game, a fighting game no less.

"Why are you playing this kind of game?"

"Nowhere else to vent my anger!"

"Who pissed you off?"
