Chapter 1503: The Expose (2)

"I can hear your gasps, which, in my opinion, is perfectly normal. We all did not expect dear old Aric to be involved in this. I mean, as the guardian of the Holy Life Temple, paying people to kill others shouldn’t be something you should do.

However, the evidence shows he was involved, and his master, the Black Feather Supreme, put him up to this. From what I know, this wasn’t the first time he had ordered the massacre of everyone just to cover up the mistakes and crimes of the Heavens Court."

Paragon raised two fingers...

"Second, the Heavens Court had, in the past, sent two legions of human warriors to their deaths. While they claimed I was the one who ordered the attack on the jade ant queen, the truth of the matter is that they had tried to kill the Jade Ant Queen twice before but failed.

I know this because that loser who calls himself the Celestial Supreme played a part. That idiot thinks himself a wise man when, in fact, I had smashed his nose in years ago.

You see, back then, I had reasons to believe the Jade Ant Queen was in danger, and so by becoming my contracted beast, I could save her.

Let’s just say her pride didn’t allow her to accept my offer. However, that didn’t bother me because I made sure she knew what was coming.

So when the Heavens Court sent the first Heaven Warriors over to make sure she was captured or killed, she was prepared for them.

After they were slaughtered, they couldn’t take it lying down, and so they sent a second legion. They too were defeated, and only 1,200 remained, and here is the evidence,"

A video of the corrupted warriors appeared; every one of them clad in purple armor with the crest of the Heavens Warrior on their chest.

The video showed them emerging from the seal after it broke and making their way toward the Jade Nest. The video captured when they were attacked by the beasts up until the time Asmodeus came onto the scene.

"As you can see, they had their fingers deep in every bad thing. The Jade Ant Queen, who had helped us humans face many beast tides, was slaughtered because she chose not to join the Heavens Court.

And a million years later, after her rebirth, they tried again. Now, while all of this is a bit circumstantial, allow me to show exhibit three."

The screen shifted to the moment when the Qilin Mercenary Team entered the Nest. The video focused on their matchup until they reached the Jade Vault, then it switched back to a lady responsible for their transfer into the Jade Nest using the gateway.

In the video, a conversation happened between her and a man.

"My lord, I have transported all the mercenaries into the Jade Nest. In a few days’ time, every last human and beast will be dead."

"Good. Make sure they succeed, as you already know, when it comes to dealing with those freaks from the Heavens Court, failure is not tolerated."

"I will do my best, my lord. That said, what should I do with those two who assembled the gateway?" the lady asked.

The man paused for a few moments, then answered, "Kill them. Our employers hate to have loose ends."

The screen changed to a video of the lady again calling the same man. This time, it was to complain about the Qilin Mercenary Team’s failure.

After the videos finished playing, Paragon spoke...

"Now, I believe you all have seen the kind of people you have been listening to for years already. I had tried in the past to reveal their true colors, but they were always a step ahead.

Now I am several steps ahead, so I will end things here for now. Soon, I will come out with more reasons why the Heavens Court cannot be trusted.

Most importantly, I will reveal why the Heavens Court is filled with a bunch of monsters." Paragon paused and took a deep breath.

"I am not saying they are all bad; there are some good ones. I know this because I have friends within their ranks. They are good people, and because of them, I never tried to eradicate the Heavens Court.

However, I think we can both tell that when it comes to what is good and what is bad, the bad always trumps the good. So I am putting this out there to inform them that one day, I will weed them all out and expose them.

Of course, until the Heavens Court starts revealing the real truth about me, I won’t stop until every living soul becomes aware of the kind of filth hidden within your ranks.

Now, I have the Jade Ant Queen, and I will raise her to become a wonderful person. One day, if she wishes it, I will aid her in exacting revenge on you scum."

Paragon sighed and then concluded everything.

"I will send the evidence to the media and the right authorities. I am not asking for much, just that you give justice to the innocents whose blood the Heavens Court and its allies had shed over the years.

That said, this again goes to the Renegade Hunter. Know that I have high expectations for you, so grow up, and one day, maybe you will be a worthy opponent. Until then, I thank you all for paying attention to my broadcast."

The screens changed back to how they were meant to be.

But despite that, many were left dumbfounded, some even trembling in their boots. The anger surging through them was so much that they couldn’t stand straight.

A few minutes after the broadcast, some powerhouses started demanding justice, the Supremes and even a few Celestials, calling out the Heavens Court for their wickedness.

It is a known fact that many haters will ride on this exposé to go against the Heavens Court. After all, as it appears, the evidence stacked against them is irrefutable.

So their innocence cannot be proven at all.

The least they can do is throw some people under the bus and hope the heat dies out soon enough.

One thing, however, is certain: the Heavens Court would not be the same again after today. The exposé had shed its disguise, exposing its evil faces.

They would need to launch a major campaign to mitigate the damage.

Meanwhile, the opinion of the Paragon started to change in people’s minds. He is no longer the threat they all seemed to think he was. In fact, the lies they had been told in the past had begun to unravel, ensuring the truth would come out somehow.

In short, Klaus’s favorable ratings had started to take shape, and it was all thanks to this exposé.

His name is now on everyone’s lips, and even the heavens have started to lose control over who they can punish for calling his name.

Seated in his seat, Lord Victor looked at Klaus’s calm expression, and something his grandfather once said resonated in his mind.

---

"Remember this, Victor. If one day you meet the Paragon, no matter how weak he is, never underestimate him. His opponents are beings you and I cannot measure up to."

---

Looking at Klaus now, he believes what his grandpa said.

’Well, grandpa, it appears even you had failed to capture his true essence. In my eyes, he is the biggest monster of them all.’

A sigh escaped his lips as he turned to look at his daughter, who was resting her head on Klaus’s shoulder. He smiled, feeling a bit of pride watching her.

A few minutes later, a Blue Jade planet appeared several million km from them.
