The Mad King's Heir
Chapter 76: Three times is an accident?
"Grandpa, what did I do?" he said, already thinking of ways to coax him. Whatever it was, he was sure he could talk his way out of it.
"Did you sleep with Yu Wen?"
Li Jun, "..."
’AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!’ He screamed internally. Who told? Who the fuck told on him? Was it Yan Jia? Well, sister Jia would never. So who the fuck had the balls to tell on him? He was going to kill them. He was going to fucking kill them.
While his mind was a chaotic mess, he feigned calmness and said, "No, who said that?" Draco always knew when his children were lying. It was something in their tone. You can call it his sixth sense as a father. This meant Li Jun couldn’t hide shit from him, either. His little cabbage was robbed by that pig.
He was devastated. So devastated that he regretted not killing Yu Wen on the spot. So what if he started a war? For his grandson, he would burn Red Valkyrie’s entire fleet. "Did he force you?"
Li Jun sat up, revealing his shirtless body. It had been incredibly hot last night that he slept with no clothes on. He was hungover too and had a throbbing headache. He rubbed his temple and said, "Grandpa."
"Well, did he?" Draco said in a stern tone, as if he just wanted him to answer the question. If Yu Wen forced him, he would have a reason to start fires.
Li Jun knew he couldn’t get out of this mess. He couldn’t lie his way out of this, so he said, "No, he didn’t force me. It was an accident."
"Three times is an accident? Did you accidentally fall on top of him?" said Damian, looking just as distraught as his father. The last person they thought they would never have to guard against was the one they had to look out for.
"Shit...," he swore, having realized who told on him. No one else knew that they did it that many times except Yu Wen. Draco was at a loss. There were billions of people in this world, but Li Jun just had to be with Yu Wen, the person who hated him the most. It was unbelievable.
"He came here looking for you. He said he wanted to apologize or some shit like that. He seems to believe that you are alive, and he came here fishing for information," he said as he poured out some whiskey with his hand that was shaking in anger.
Li Jun’s jaw dropped. Yu Wen, this idiot, instead of moving on, was busy looking for trouble. Why couldn’t he just let him be? He regretted it. He fucking regretted helping him that night.
"It was really an accident, and it only happened once, so I didn’t say anything," he said, trying to restrain his anger. He wanted to call Yu Wen and cuss him out, but if he did that, then that bastard would definitely know that he was alive.
Damian slumped on the couch and put his feet up before asking, "What about your mother’s pendant. Why did he have it?"
Li Jun’s eyes widened. He lost that pendant years ago, and he didn’t even remember where. When he realized it was gone, he was so hurt and angry at himself for being so careless. That was the last thing that he had that belonged to his mother. The other things he had were destroyed by Li Yu.
So how did it get in Yu Wen’s hands? "Grandpa, did you get it back?" he said, his heart aching. He really wanted that pendant back, but he couldn’t go ask for it personally.
"No, that bastard said you gave it to him the day you saved him," replied Draco before taking a large gulp in annoyance. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
Li Jun sat up with a confused look on his face. "Saved him, when?" he asked, genuinely confused. Draco thought it wouldn’t do Li Jun any good if he were forced to relive memories he had suppressed. This was why he didn’t show him. Both he and Damian thought it was in his best interest if he didn’t see it.
"My contact next to Xiu Ying got the surveillance video of what happened the day Yu Hu died, and I sent it to him. When you dragged him out, he held on to your pendant, and you gave it to him," said Damian as his father pushed his feet off the table.
This was news to him. He knew the reason why they hadn’t told him about the video was that they didn’t want him to relive this memory. Even he didn’t want to remember. There was a reason why he forgot in the first place.
He sighed as he fell back on the bed. Rubbing his forehead, he said, "Just forget it. When we get the opportunity in the future, we can get it back. At least now we know where it is."
Sitting down next to his son, Draco asked, "And the figurine you made me make for him?"
Li Jun gritted his teeth. Today, Yu Wen was really fucking testing him. Was there anything he didn’t tell his family? Yu Wen really wanted to make him so angry that he would retaliate. He screamed, "FUCK!" into the pillow.
He did gift him that mech, but that’s because Yu Wen was always giving him a hard time. They fought all the time, and Yu Wen never showed him a good face. Normally, he wouldn’t care about it, but one time, he was invited to a party, and Yu Wen was there. They had just had an explosive fight a few days ago. Yu Wen confronted him about the day his father died, and of course, Li Jun didn’t have any answers for him.
Yu Wen had been in a horrible mood. His mood was so terrible that he didn’t show his face at the academy. So, when Yu Wen saw him at the party, he was a little surprised. Yu Wen drank so much, which was unlike him. Li Jun found himself counting his drinks. He shouldn’t have cared about Yu Wen, but damn, he could see the hurt in his eyes.
When Yu Wen left, stumbling to the bathroom, Li Jun followed him. He wasn’t the only one paying attention to him. There was a girl from their class who was also eyeing him. Thinking he was doing a good deed and making up for the answers he couldn’t give him, he decided to lend him a hand.
