The Outliers - Evolution to the World's Strongest
Chapter 242 - 241 - Invasion(Part 7)

No...no way...
"Tch...it seems that we arrived too late," Remarked Bastet grimly.
"If it isn’t the Deity Bastet, it has been quite a while," Satan greeted him with a smirk.
He looks like a little kid, but somehow, his presence was terrifyingly menacing and intimidating...
"Indeed, it has been. I never imagined that I would see the Demon Lord, the ruler of Hell himself, so afraid of a human that he would resort to sealing her away in his own domain," Scoffed Bastet in response.
"How dare you-...!?" Began one of the Demons furiously.
"It’s quite alright, Mammon. Leave this to me...do not interfere," Satan cut him off as he stepped forward.
"Keep your distance and focus on nullifying his powers," Bastet muttered to me quietly.
"Don’t have to tell me twice, I have no intention of getting any closer," I nodded immediately, before backing away.
"In the past, you Deities have avoided casualties by banding together, and then joining forces with Heaven when they intervene. But you, a minor Deity, standing before me by your lonesome...do you truly believe that you have any chance of defeating me?" Inquired Satan with an amused look on his face.
"Well, we shall find out soon enough...won’t we!?" Snapped Bastet, as he shot towards Satan rapidly.
Damn, he’s fast...but having sparred with him for over a month, I can follow his movements now. And because of that...I can make it so that there’s a gap in my Nullification field, a gap in which he won’t be affected by it!
As he closed in on Satan and slashed at him, Satan evaded and countered with a backhand strike to Bastet’s chest, knocking him back before Bastet leapt up into the air and pinballed around Satan rapidly, using his barrier power to create footholds.
He then leapt towards Satan from behind, slashing at the back of his neck. As Satan quickly moved in response, Bastet’s claws leaving shallow cuts on the side of his neck, he grabbed Bastet’s tail as he shot past him and then flung him away with immense force.
Good, the cuts on his neck aren’t healing...so long as I keep my Nullification active, all the damage he sustains won’t disappear! But...all these Demons, they’re standing by for now, but they’re bound to intervene if things get genuinely dicey for their leader.
Damn it...if Aurora was still here, we’d stand a much better chance of winning this. As Bastet got flung away, he halted himself by forming a springy barrier wall, and then leaping off of it and straight towards Satan again.
Satan evaded as Bastet closed in on him, and as he landed, he stayed low and unleashed a rapid sweep kick at Satan’s ankles. Satan swiftly leapt up to evade in, before Bastet shot up like a spring and slammed his head onto Satan’s chest, a slight cracking sound echoing out.
A trickle of blood ran down Bastet’s forehead, before the wound swiftly closed up and he grabbed Satan’s wrists and leapt straight up with his knees bent.
He then swung his feet out and slammed them onto Satan’s chest with immense force, a loud crack echoing out, Satan raising as eyebrow as a trickle of blood ran down the corner of his mouth.
Bastet let out an animalistic snarl as he repeatedly slammed his feet onto Satan’s chest while maintaining his tight grip on his wrists, slowly but surely caving in his ribcage as more blood poured down the corners of the Demon Lord’s mouth.
Holy shit, he’s...he’s actually doing it! This...this could work. Come on, you smug kitty cat, finish him off!
"I am far from done yet!" Exclaimed Bastet, as he slammed a kick onto the side of Satan’s head, before raising his foot up high, aiming to slam his heel straight down onto Satan’s head, "Take this, you-...!"
Before he could finish his sentence, Satan suddenly spread out his wings and vanished from my sight. My eyes widened in alarm as I frantically looked around to try and spot him, before locating him as I turned my gaze upwards.
Oh, crap, he’s out of my Nullification range, I need to-...before I could try and extend my range further, his injuries had already healed, and he rapidly swooped down towards the ground after cracking his neck, grabbing Bastet by the throat and then slamming him down on his back onto the ground before he could react, eliciting a pained gasp from the Deity.
Bastet then gritted his teeth and slashed at Satan, but he was too slow, as Satan easily deflected his arm away before slamming a devastating punch square onto the middle of Bastet’s chest, a loud crunch echoing out upon impact as a strained wheeze escaped Bastet’s mouth.
"Okay, that’s enough playing around. It’s clear that I am not good at holding back, it is all or nothing with me...and while injuries are inconsequential to me, having pain inflicted on me is quite annoying. Time for you to die," Remarked Satan with a sigh, as he continued punching Bastet, breaking his bones faster than he could heal them.
"D-damn it...," Uttered Bastet weakly, a frustrated look of defeat on his face as Satan grabbed the top of his head and lifted him up, before a wry smile appeared on his face, "Oh, well...if nothing else, breaking a few of your bones was quite satisfying. As the humans say...go fuck yourself."
"Duly noted," Responded Satan dryly, before crushing Bastet’s head and then ripping it off with a violent twist.
"Oh, no...," I muttered in horror, as he tossed away Bastet’s head and let his body hit the ground.
"Now, then...Fiend Alpha, Nazi King Hitler...deal with the other pest, would you?" Remarked Satan, after giving me a brief glance.
Hold on, what was that name again?
"As you desire, my Lord," Responded the Demon, as he suddenly appeared before me.
I quickly sprang to my feet and narrowly evaded as he drove his hand towards my head, keeping my Nullification active to prevent him from using any powers.
"Like I’d let one of the biggest pieces of shit in history kill me!" I snapped, as I flung a couple of needles at him.
He didn’t bother to dodge, simply letting them hit him as he raised his fist, before frowning and stumbling back with a dazed groan.
"Wh-what is this...?" He muttered as he shook his head with a grimace.
"Now, die!" I exclaimed, as I drew out a couple of daggers and slashed at him.
This time, he wasted no time in evading, but despite my needles having weakened him...he was still dodging my attacks with ease.
Damn it, damn it, damn it! Just fucking die already-...as I slashed at his head, narrowly missing his eyes, he drove his knee up towards me. And as I just barely evaded his attack, my eyes widened in alarm as his fist came shooting towards my midsection.
Sh-shit, I can’t dodge this! As his fist began to make contact, I gave up on evading and instead jammed one of my daggers into his forearm, right as his fist struck me and knocked the wind out of me, breaking the bones on my lower ribcage.
I found myself coughing out blood with a sharp wheeze, as I got sent flying back at a breakneck speed, crashing through several chunks of rubble before my back slammed onto the side of a building and a sharp pain burst out around the left side of my stomach.
My vision was blurry, my head heavy and spinning as I coughed out more blood, before slowly turning my gaze downwards to see steel pipe pierced through the left side of my stomach.
My eyes began to shut, feeling heavy. D-damn it, it’s...it’s no use. I...I can’t keep my eyes open...any longer...

"What...what is happening to me?" Gasped Hitler in agony, writhing on the ground as I felt his presence growing weaker and weaker.
Hm...her weapons, what exactly were they laced with? There is no poison in the living world that affects Demons...so, what exactly did she inflict him with?
"I know this feeling...the way his body is weakening, it is the same sensation I felt when that human boy pierced me with his bones and injected light energy into my body," Frowned Asmodeus grimly.
"Yeah, now that you mention it...," Mused Beelzebub, as he picked up one of the daggers she had dropped and inspecting it, "I am getting a seriously unpleasant feeling from this dagger. It appears to be coated in a sticky liquid...they must have somehow infused this liquid with light energy. Just one more hit and Alpha would likely have died, despite sustaining no direct damage to his core. And it will likely be quite a while before he regains his full power."
"They are capable of doing that?" Responded Leviathan in disbelief.
"It should not be possible, humans are not capable of this. Neither are any of the other beings-...hm, wait. There are those Witches...they are the one race in the living world that we know little to nothing about, as we have rarely ever clashed with them," I realized with a grimace, before shrugging and standing up, "Well, it does not matter, this should be little consequence to us.
I shall begin recalling the Devils...Demons of Sin and you Fiends, prepare to mobilize the Demons you are in charge of. It is time to begin our invasion in earnest. Oh, and let us send somewhat larger forces to the areas where several Devils were eliminated..."
