"Oh, hi, it’s been a long time, hasn’t it?" Beelzebub greeted us with a smirk.

"This’ll be the last time, one way or another," I responded icily.

"Yeah, I figured as much. Well, let’s enjoy ourselves then...before I kill the two of you," He smirked, forming black flames in his right hand and black lightning in his left, as he burst out a wave of earth spikes out towards us. 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂

We swiftly scattered to get out of the way before he fired out a blast of black flames at Kiyana and a powerful bolt of black lightning at me.

I fired out a massive blast of light energy at the incoming lightning to cancel it out, while Kiyana raised up a wall of earth to block the fire blast closing in on her.

Beelzebub then extended out his purple and red streaks, extending them out towards us...purple drains energy and red takes bites out physically, we can’t let either get anywhere near us!

I shot towards him as Kiyana raced across to evade them, while I fired out sharp, rapid projectiles of light blasts at the Demon, who blocked them with walls of earth, but his streaks slowed down as a result.

As I closed in on his earth walls, I flung a light energy grenade over the walls towards him overhead while rapidly extending out a narrow bone spike in his direction.

It pierced and burst through the earth walls before I felt it shoot through his body, a stifled cry of pain echoing out as the bomb exploded and showered him with light energy, as I simultaneously injected light energy into him with my bone spike.

He quickly flew back before I could weaken him too significantly, zipping away before his eyes widened as a light blast came shooting towards him as Kiyana took aim and fired.

He managed to form a block of earth just in time to block the blast, before flying high up into the air and firing down Negative Blasts at us. We swiftly countered with light energy blasts of our own, canceling out the Negative Blasts.

Kiyana then used her Aero Skill to fly up into the air and unleashed a swirling mass of wind, water and lightning as she shot towards him, grimacing as he sent several of his streaks shooting out towards her.

She could only partially evade them, losing chunks of flesh from her left side and right shoulder, letting out a gasp of pain before grimacing as she healed her injuries and closed in on him.

She suddenly zipped straight down as she got within a few meters of him and his streaks surrounded and began to converge in on her, catching him off guard before flinging a light energy bomb up at him.

He flew away in alarm but couldn’t fully avoid it, as it exploded and a bit of the light energy cloud engulfed him, a dazed look on his face as he coughed sharply.

Damn it, there’s not much I can do down here while he’s airborne...I was firing out bone projectiles and light blasts up at him, and it’s keeping him from moving freely, but I need to do more.

Oh, I just got an idea. Never tried this before so I have no clue how well it’ll work, but...it’s worth a shot.

As Kiyana fired out water slashes and blasted streaks of lightning at him, along with light blasts in between of course, he managed to only partially evade her attacks as his focus was split between us, grimacing as some of our attacks hit him.

He’s healing a lot slower than before now, we’re wearing him down! As he flew down lower to get some distance away from Kiyana, I burst out stilt-like bone spikes from the soles of my feet as rapidly as I could, shooting myself up towards him.

His eyes widened in alarm as I rapidly closed in on him and extended out bone spikes from both my hands, piercing into his shoulders and injecting light energy into him as fast as I could.

He quickly flew back to wrench my bones out of his flesh as blood began gushing out of his eyes and nose, before gasping in alarm and pain as Kiyana fired out a light blast from behind him, striking his back and sending him plummeting down towards the ground.

The two of us then took out our last light energy bombs and flung them down at him, his eyes widening in horror as they exploded and rained down on him, eliciting an agonizing yell of pain from him as blood began oozing out of his pores, a look of excruciation on his face.

He then burst out a barrage of his streaks up at us, Kiyana firing out a wind blast to push me out of the way as she flew across to evade it. He got back on his feet with a weak groan as we both landed a few meters away on either side of him, stumbling back weakly.

"Demon of Sin or not, you underestimated us way too much. You’re not much stronger than I am in your current state," Remarked Kiyana, as Beelzebub struggled to stay standing.

"Yes, I suppose that’s an accurate assessment...but there’s another way of looking at it. Even after being so severely weakened...I’m still stronger than you," He responded with a weak chuckle, before earth spikes suddenly extended out towards me rapidly as he send all his streaks shooting out in my direction.

They’re slower than usual, and barely stable in their manifestation, they’ll fade before too long, but...they’re still forcing me to back away to avoid getting hit!

I fired out light energy blasts and bone spikes in front of me, but they didn’t have much effect, I can’t damage the streaks, and the earth spikes are continuing to spread out towards me no matter how much I damage them.

My eyes then widened in horror and my chest began pounding as the streaks faded and the wave of earth spikes halted, right as a scream of pain rang out, followed by the sound of bones cracking and breaking apart, and flesh being torn through.

I shot forward in desperation, scrambling over the rows of earth spikes, ignoring as I got cuts all over my skin, before I let out a anguished gasp of despair as I climbed over and they came into sight...I desperately fired out light energy blasts as rapidly as I could, but I could only watch helplessly...as Beelzebub tore off Kiyana’s head with a vicious twist, crushing her skull before disdainfully tossing it aside, her decapitated body collapsing and hitting the ground with a thud.

"I acknowledge my defeat here, I know I’m about to die...that took all the strength and energy I had left in me, no doubt you’re going to kill me now. But that’s fine...because I get to enjoy that deliciously despaired and horrified look on your face!" Cackled Beelzebub triumphantly, coughing out blood as he collapsed onto the ground with a wheezing gasp.

I couldn’t process his words, my ears were ringing as I took is sharp, hollow breaths, stumbling past the rows of earth spikes and shakily making my way over there, my vision blurring and darkening as I began to hyperventilate, staring in denial and shock at Kiyana’s corpse, blood flowing out of the stump where her neck used to be.

N-no...no, this can’t be real, she can’t be dead. Th-this isn’t happening...I collapsed onto my knees as my mind blanked, refusing to accept what had just happened.

And then, everything began to turn red, an uncontrollable rage rapidly rising up inside me as I let out an anguished wail, which then morphed in a furious roar of anger, tears streaming down my eyes as I locked my gaze onto the Demon with seething rage...

"I-I’ll...I’LL FUCKING KILL YOU!!!" I yelled bitterly in a hateful outrage, as I extended out bone spikes from my entire body and sent them shooting into the ground and bursting out towards him, each one rising up high rapidly and towering over the trees.

"Well, here it comes...but it’s quite overkill for a half-dead Demo-...," He began with a laugh, before being skewered and shooting up into air with several spikes impaled through him.

"Die...die, die, die, DIE, DIE, DIE!!!!!" I exclaimed as let out a feral snarl and branched out the spikes pierced into him, flooding his body with light energy, his core shattering and his body disintegrating almost instantly.

A choked sob of sorrow and anger escaped my lips as I shakily got back up and dragged my feet towards Kiyana, my body trembling and running cold as I knelt down beside her body, desperately placing my hands onto her and trying to heal her.

I-it...it’s not working. She’s...she’s dead. And there’s...there’s absolutely nothing I can do about it...I then felt myself drop down through the ground, but I couldn’t bring myself to care, my body and mind feeling numb and disconnected...
