The Outliers - Evolution to the World's Strongest
Chapter 277 - 276 - Divine Intervention(Part 2)

"I don’t suppose you could use the Observation technique to show us the fight between God and Liling, could you?" I asked Neo.
"Or maybe send me there...Liling will most likely be defeated, but she does have all of Satan’s powers, and Satan intended to kill God, didn’t he? So...maybe I could help make sure that God isn’t killed," Chimed in Aurora with a look of concern.
Yeah, if God is killed, that could have some pretty serious implications for the world.
"No...I won’t send you there. But...I can create a viewing portal for us to safely watch the battle," Responded Neo, before opening up a wide portal that took up an entire wall, showing us the fight between God and Liling.
"I can barely follow their movements," Remarked Zoraiz as his forehead scrunched up in his efforts to try and keep up with the speed of the battle.
"Wow, yeah, they’re pretty fast, alright," Nodded Aurora with a frown.
I glanced at Inoka and Dieter, the two who had been hit the hardest by the casualties in our battles with the remaining powerful Demons. Neither of them are watching the battle.
Inoka looks completely dead, and Dieter seems to be in shock and denial. There’s nothing any of us can say to make them feel better...I’d be in a similar state if Zoraiz had been killed in our fight against Lucifer.
"Hey, uh, is it just me, or is Liling actually holding her own against God?" Spoke up Fenris warily.
"Yeah, it seems to be about even...and Liling is definitely a fair bit more powerful than Satan was," Nodded Aurora with a grimace.
That doesn’t sound good...we might be fucked if Liling ends up winning this fight...

"What’s the matter? You look kinda confused!" I exclaimed with a chuckle, as I sent her flying back with a powerful, sharp burst of wind.
"How dare you!?"
"Know your place, mortal!"
Hm? Come on, don’t interfere in someone else’s fight, that’s not cool. Two Angels had flown up on either side of me, poised to strike me. I shot towards one of them, grabbing him by the throat with a smirk.
Pain burst out across my back as the other one formed a spear of light and pierced it through me, before I crushed the throat of the one I’d grabbed and flooded his body with dark energy, as I simultaneously swung my foot out behind me to kick away the other one.
"Since I’ve got both the Light and Dark Skills, I can kill both Angels and Demons like this," I smirked, as I injected more dark energy into the Angel’s body.
He let out an agonized gasp as he coughed out blood, the whites of his eyes turning red as his veins popped and his body began to spasm violently.
Hm? Oh, I’ve lost my grip on him...his entire body is turning into a golden, glowing light, that’s slowly fading away. Huh, so that’s what happens when an Angel dies. It’s kinda different from how Demons die, but not really.
I then flew across as the other Angel fired out a barrage of light arrows at me, before I shot towards her as her arms began crackling with lightning. I drove my hands through the middle of her chest and swiftly tore her vertically in half, before engulfing both halves with Chaos Blasts, wiping out all traces of them.
My eyes then widened as a massive barrage of light projectiles came shooting towards me, I swiftly formed a wall of Chaos energy in front of myself to block the incoming projectiles that were on course to hit me.
"Enough, not using my full power because you are a human was my mistake. I shall destroy you with prejudice," Suddenly came God’s voice from behind me.
Uh-oh, teleportation, huh? Not good!
I quickly zipped away as fast as I could, as she fired out a massive blast of destructive light energy, eradicating my entire left arm and a bit of my shoulder.
"Woah, that was close! I can’t regenerate my clothes, a few more inches and my left booby would’ve totally been hanging out...glad I could avoid th-...woah! Hey, I was talking here!" I protested indignantly, as she teleported in towards me and reached out to try and grab my head, which I narrowly ducked under.
As I ducked, I manifested a swirling sphere of Chaos energy, wiping out most of her torso-...but in the blink of an eye, all the damage was undone, as if it had never happened.
"It is futile," She remarked icily, as I quickly flew away to get some distance. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
"Wow, you can even regenerate your clothes? Now, that’s impressive," I laughed carefreely.
"Foolish young human...I have no physical body, what you see here is merely a puppet, a shell I control remotely. I cannot enter the living world in my true form, you see. Even in the unlikely event that you destroy this body, it will not harm me," She informed me.
"Oh, cool. But why tell me that, shouldn’t you keep that to yourself?" I responded with a raised eyebrow.
"It makes no difference. Knowing that does not change anything...but now you understand the futility of your efforts, or at least, I hope so."
Hm, I wonder...heh, if I’m right about this little hunch I just got, then...
"Are you sure about that? Sure, that’s not your real body, whatever...but that’s not the point, is it? Tell me, if I do destroy this body, would you be able to descend down to the living world again? Could you create another body like this one right away? Or ever?" I inquired with a raised eyebrow.
"Impressive...but what a waste. A human of your intellect could have done so much to help advance and improve the lives of your fellow humans...yes, truly a waste," She shook her head in disappointment, before teleporting behind me again.
"You’re too predictable!" I exclaimed, as I spun around and grabbed the top of her head, erasing everything from the neck-up with a swirling Chaos Blast.
Of course, the head reappeared instantly, flying back before I burst out a wide hole through her torso with a Destruction Ray.
"You may have figured out the importance of this puppet body...however, it is not so easily destroyed," She stated, as the sky then rapidly darkened, the clouds violently crackling with lightning as wind began to swirl around me.
"Yeah, I figured as much, so long as you have Aura to spend, any damage I inflict to this body will heal instantly. But even you don’t have an unlimited supply of Aura, do you?" I pointed out with a laugh, as I unleashed beams of Destruction all around me.
"Indeed...however, no mortal can hope to match my Aura capacity. Even with Satan’s Aura added to your own, my capacity is still significantly superior to yours," She countered icily, flying across to evade my beams, losing a couple of limbs in the process.
Damn, I can hardly move...the wind swirling around me, it’s way too strong to fly through. I then stared up at the sky as a bright, electric light began emanating...ho boy, that’s gonna be one big-ass lightning bolt.
I smirked as I then unleashed a massive burst of Mana, converting it to wind to push back against the wind swirling around me, before zipping away right as the lightning burst out towards where I’d been, narrowly avoiding getting caught up in it.
We’ve only been fighting for a couple of minutes or so, and I’ve already used a significant amount of my Aura just to keep up with her. Alright, letting this drag out will end up in an anticlimactic defeat for me...that’d totally suck.
In that case, time to get reckless, a final barrage with everything I’ve got left in me...it’s gonna be do or die. Yeah, probably die, but hey, who knows...I just might pull it off...
