When Ji Ming heard Song Huidong say these people were "free," his expression twitched.

After walking for a while, they heard a tremendous rumbling, which grew louder as they proceeded.

Song Huidong led the two of them from the front, explaining as they walked.

"I heard that you, Junior Brother Zhang, appreciate a quiet and secluded environment, much like Master Yuee. So, I’ve arranged for you to be at the Flying Spring Waterfall."

Hearing this, Ji Ming frowned slightly. "Senior Brother Song, isn’t the Flying Spring Waterfall area uninhabited by any Elders? There shouldn’t be anything there that needs managing, right?"

Song Huidong chuckled. "It’s precisely because no one lives there that I arranged for him to go."

Ji Ming’s face stiffened. It took him a moment to recover before he asked, "You arranged the Flying Spring Waterfall Tower for him?"

Song Huidong nodded. "Yes. Isn’t that the only main node Cave Mansion at the Flying Spring Waterfall? Is there a problem?"

Ji Ming glanced at Song Huidong, then at Zhang Deming, and shook his head. "No, no problem."

The three of them moved quickly, and since the small plaza wasn’t far, they arrived at a cliff’s edge in no time.

The first thing they saw was a sheer cliff, as if cut by a knife. The cliff and the flat ground where Zhang Deming and the others stood formed an L-shape.

In the middle of the cliff, a massive waterfall, like a silver river from the heavens, cascaded down.

The water plunged into a small lake below, creating a deafening roar.

Beside the lake was a small, open area, on which stood a single, three-story pavilion that wasn’t particularly tall.

The entire pavilion was pure white, constructed from some unknown type of jade.

The pavilion was built at the very edge of the flat ground. Just beyond it was a sheer cliff, which meant the view from the pavilion was absolutely superb.

To be precise, the view from this plateau was incredible, but the deafening sound of the water was a bit of a nuisance.

The three of them reached an entrance where a faint Light Curtain materialized. Song Huidong tapped it lightly with his hand and led them through it onto the open ground.

The surrounding noise instantly fell silent.

The entire L-shaped platform was enveloped by a massive Array Light Curtain, completely isolating it from the waterfall’s noise.

To the left was the entrance. To the right, the waterfall occupied half the clearing. Straight ahead was the cliff. Gazing outward, one could take in more than half of the Celestial Spirit Sect’s Inner Sect Fifteen Peaks.

In terms of scenery alone, this place was more than a level above Qingyou Pool, and it was a mix of multiple elements like the cliff view and the waterfall.

Spirit Nurturing Peak was the second-highest mountain in the Inner Sect, and they were currently very close to the summit. As a result, the view was a beautiful panorama of mist-shrouded mountains.

This direction faced east, so the morning sunrise must be incredibly beautiful.

Considering the landscape and the atmosphere, Zhang Deming had no complaints; it was truly superb.

The massive Array seemed to only filter out the tremendous roar of the waterfall; other sounds were not blocked.

Zhang Deming stared at everything before him, stunned for a moment.

After a moment, Zhang Deming came back to his senses, and Song Huidong led him to the pavilion.

In front of the pavilion stood a stone stele, upon which were carved the four words "Flying Spring Waterfall Tower" in a flamboyant script.

Song Huidong led Zhang Deming and Ji Ming into the pavilion.

The layout of the first and second floors was quite similar to that of the Qingyou Jade Pavilion.

The only difference was the third floor. The moment the door to the third floor opened, Zhang Deming froze.

"For me?" Zhang Deming asked.

"Of course. Why else would I bring you here, Junior Brother?" Song Huidong replied.

Zhang Deming turned his head toward Ji Ming, giving him a look that said, ’And you call this making things difficult for me?’

But Ji Ming was completely baffled!

’Great! This guy is just as clueless as I am. He clearly has no idea why they’d arrange such a residence for me.’

’Besides the three Peak Masters, Spirit Nurturing Peak has three Elder-level Masters, but only *one* of them gets this kind of treatment.’

Zhang Deming looked at Song Huidong and said darkly, "Do all of you Core Disciples on Spirit Nurturing Peak get this kind of treatment?"

Song Huidong’s expression froze. After a moment, he forced a laugh and said, "Well... there are some differences. After all, there are quite a few of us."
