As she laughed, Zero One’s group glanced into the skies and noticed the explosions rocking the world, making everything tremble nonstop.

“W-What happened?!” Wai Tian asked.

“S-Something red hit the Universal Computer…” Yin Sheng muttered.

“Something red?!” Zero Two asked. “I managed to take some pictures, but… What the hell is this? A soul? Someone screaming? It looks like a chimera made of ugly, twisted things!”

“Whatever that was, this is our opportunity, everyone!” Zero One cried. The immortals behind her, along with the millions of machines and her mother, looked at her with eyes full of determination. “This is the moment we stand together for this world… Both the original inhabitants and the invaders who want to redeem themselves…!”

Her voice echoed through every machine, and the immortals, with their enhanced senses, could hear her clearly.

“We can’t waste any more time!” she said. “Please, everyone… Would you lend me whatever strength you have left?! For this final push—to save this world! To save everyone…!”

The immortals, who still carried some doubt on their faces, stopped hesitating the moment they saw the two primordial beasts step forward.

Their auras, overflowing with power, surged toward Zero One, her sisters, and her Mother’s tree.

Suddenly, they were flooded with immense quantities of Heavenly Ki. Their systems powered up to the maximum and continued improving without pause.

“Of course! We’re in!” Wai Tian stepped forward. “We’re friends, after all, Zero One!”

“We’ve always been your friends, Zero One,” Yin Sheng said. “Did you even have to ask?”

“Yes, I’ll do whatever I can as well… All the time I’ve spent here has been precious to me,” Sara said. “I’ll give everything to help you, Zero One. You’ve taught me that no matter our origins, anyone can become a great person if they truly mean it.”

“KRIEEEEEH!” Violet roared.

“AWOOOO!” Snow howled.

“Piiikyuuuhh…” Shiro looked exhausted but still willing to help one last time.

“Of course, dear,” her mother said. “You don’t even need to ask… I believe what struck the Void Ruler was Lucifer’s soul. She had summoned him here briefly… He burned with such intensity that he resembled a meteor—or even a star. And I believe it was Anna and the others who launched him, amazingly enough.”

This sphere had been designed by Mother—a “mechanical soul,” an artificial imitation created through her technology.
